The main power wire looks a little small for that length, might wanna check if it’s warm during operation. Safer to upsize the awg for safety. You just use the built-in safety switch for using the inflator no? Or did you install any pressure switch? Neat and nice installation. Thanks for sharing.
Hey mate, done the same setup on my ranger but notice when flicking switch on sounds like the compressor is straggling and isn't getting enough power with weak air pressure. Disconnected and ran compressor straight off battery and it ran fine, any suggestions?
That air compressor has a 120 amp surge on startup. It blew my 100 amp breaker repeatedly. Switched to a 125amp breaker and all is well. I also used 4awg wire but only a couple feet from the battery.
@@Joes-Adventures71 so the 120amp circuit breaker works good aye? My auto sparkie mate reckons 150amp breaker should do the trick but haven't done it yet as im running directly off battery. Once i get the chance and find room to position the bigger breaker ill put ot together. Cheers
Great job
What brand air piece are you using to pump tyres
Thanks

Hello mate, just a fast question I’ve the same compressor can i use 30 or 25 amp relay?
find it hard to get 100 amp relay
Hey great video
Whats fuse sizes u using
Cheers
Thanks for your comment. 90 - 100amps
@@letsgetitonadventures8919 the cable you installed does not support 90-100 amp
Hey bro, great work! Does the relay I get have to be waterproof since it might be exposed to water in the engine bay?
As long as the location of your relay will be high enough it will be alright. Have a great day!!!

What wire for using? At least 6mm - 8mm wire will do. And what's your relay?
@@letsgetitonadventures8919 i used 6mm 50amp twin core auto cable and 12v DC 100 amp h/d split charge winch relay (WM686 RL/180-12)
Hi mate sorry for my late response. How's going on your compressor?
