When I first saw this one I almost would have thought they would have changed back to the Graboids and AssBlasters from the first 3 films but they didn't they used the same Graboid and AssBlaster designs from Tremors 5:BloodLines as these creatures were bigger and uglier than the American species and one other thing about this one that surprised me was that Val and Rhonda had a daughter and I certainly didn't see that coming much like Burt did.
honestly, the first few movies had more realistic special effects and practical effects than this one and the previous one, I was massively disappointed, prime example 1:11, mid-flight the thing head buts him like it knows where he is but for some reason, it doesn't just eat him, why would it do that, it can't see above ground, if it lept out it would be trying to eat, even tremors 4 was more realistic and it was set in the wild west, another gripe about that bit, it was moving at normal speed in slow-mo, it just ruins the immersion, having it go unseen would probably have been less costly and more visually appealing

This is the one that define Tremors as a B-Rate. It's actually painful to watch. You can't ditch the puppets, guys. The budget dwindles with every movie though. It's a shame. I can imagine the kind of movie they could make with a good budget but it will never happen.

I had an idea for a Tremors spin off trilogy called "Graboid". The first movie would be about a father and his teenage son battling graboids during an invasion in Greece (Because I'm a teenager who'd lived in Greece, lol). The second movie would involve them getting famous and being invited, along with Burt Gummer, to Area 51, which is actually a graboid research facility where they bring graboid species from all over the world. The graboids would get loose, and the family would have to fight back. In the third and final movie, they would go to a war zone in Ukraine (because I'm from Ukraine 😊), where genetically enhanced graboids were used as weapons by an independent terrorist group, and the father and son, who had formed the Graboid Attack Control Service (GACS), would shut the operations down. That was just an idea. I don't think it's ever going to happen, but just wanted to share it. (If it ever does, I'd have to change the last one a bit, since it's kind of insensitive to take advantage of the situation in Ukraine).
