@@martingrefen7792 The cars that you see are nearly all 1940's vintage, some earlier. As someone who cycled through Dublin in the late 50's and early sixties, I don't remember many of those types of cars around and by 1960; there were virtually no horse drawn bread vans, they were nearly all electric floats, except those making deliveries to towns surrounding Dublin ans they were diesel powered. As you say, all before 08 March 1966.

Lovely. Born in Dublin in 1961. Thank you for posting.
Brilliant
Lovely film born Dublin still love it despite the changes!
Great voice and song 👍👍👍👍
Definitely not 1962, a lot earlier. But great to see such a good video of Dublin. I would say maybe late 40s
With that many cars?
I got that impression too
The photographer on the bridge I remember him I got a photo taken by him
No shuttered shop fronts
Much nicer and safer Dublin.
Edward’s cakes, my mother thought they were awful. Nice to look back but there were terrible slums behind those streets. The poverty was extreme.
Most of this film is from much earlier than 1962
Back when you had a chance of buying your first house before you reached 100...

This looks like the 1940s, not 1962
Those cars are from the early 1950s. Definitely not 1962.
First four minutes are late forties or very early fifties but the last minute could be 1962.
Its later, the Piller was blown up in 1966
