  • Due to track closure our 4wd trip to the mouth of Broke Inlet was no longer possible. However we came up with a plan B and explored the area by "little boat". So join us as my my brother Justin and I set off on a fun filled adventure exploring Broke Inlet

I always thought you couldn't take a boat across the inlet because of the shallow water but there you go. Also strange that they close the track in January. Anyway I've been there and it's an amazing place.

Nice view on top of bald rock, been up there lots of times not sure if pile of rocks is a survey spot or just a pile of rocks that people add to when out there when there is not much else to do when weather not good enough to go up the cut to the beach! It’s about 8 km from the hut side to to mouth ! Good effort on such a small boat and to catch a pinky of the beach 🤟
    👍🥔🇦🇺

Cheers mate. Everything was against us when we arrived to the beach. Low Tide, windy as hell, and the sun high in the sky. I was very surprised when I saw a pinky on the end of Justin's line. Ill definitely head back when the 4wd track opens for a solid fishing session 🍻👍

Did you spot the 2 shacks (not that old) on the right side of the inlet opposite to where the track come in. Would have been a mission building them. I go down there fairly regular but not by water. Well done fellows.

Yes mate we sure did. I was thinking how awesome it would be to own one of them. It looks like they have done a great job building them. Thanks for watching and glad you liked it 👍

Thanks mate. You're 100% on that one. Unfortunately I'm heading back to work next week so things will be pretty quiet for a while. Once the job is over I'll have a few months off and see where the road takes me 👍
