There is no way to solo him with yang, she cant keep up with the debuffs by herself. Still, with the right supports she can be very effective against him
Nice solo. Just sent a friend request. Question: Where is your Barghest with event damage CE? She is a solo monster and I was hoping to see yours 100 NP5 10/10/10.
Although barghest Has a nice damage output she doesn't have any hard survival skills (like invencibility or guts), making her not that consistent in the longrun
@@SoloingFGO That's her one weakness. However her ability to heal 4k per brave chain, remove buffs and stack defense debuffs makes her very potent against bosses that spam buffs. Her damage output isn't even that high, it's her ability to cripple the enemy and heal herself that makes her a potent soloist. Her NP's main strength is the cool down reduction which makes maintaining uptime on her second skill easier, which really improves her survivability and healing. Outside of an NP or a single nasty crit, she is unkillable, and a single NP can be mitigated with Atlas invulnerability. Finally, when mighty chains come out, her NP regen on a BQA chain is outstanding. It becomes possible to NP twice every 6 turns which means her second skill cool down is effectively 4 turns. That's 75% uptime on 4k heal, 4 buff removals, and 40% defense down. The last one won't happen unless the enemy spams removable buffs, but still it's great value. Just this Nerofest alone I managed to solo the Cu+Scathach CQ, the Medb CQ, and the Spartacus CQ with my level 80 Barghest. I highly recommend her and she is my favorite soloist, over my Kama and Super Orion.
It is possible, but bear in mind that in order to make up for the missing levels, you would have to get to Bond 15, and get very lucky with the critical Hits

@@kazumakariama well, speaking from a F2P perspective, that was quite the blow. My NP2 KH came from when he first released, but i havent been able to pull him ever since. Ok im little bit sad ir i miss it but you have king Hassan right if you know or already know for those who doesn't know about ir other know about it but king Hassan has a 5% chances he will get a insta kill
Sure thing, I love building Command codes, and giving some insights!! This is not my usual setup (For the standard set, you can look up any of my other vids), I had to make a lot of changes in order to make it work efficiently on Cernunnos. The most important Command code lies in a buster card, its called "Djinn's Lamp" It applies burn to the target, thus enabling my primary CE function of dealing a wapping 40% damage to everything a do. The next buster card had the "Good Wife Wise Fox" Code that applies a 50%+ healing buff to whatever heals I get for 2 turns (counting the one it's used), which is essential for getting 4,500 HP to heal rather than the usual 3000 The last buster card is "Holy Night's Aurora Borealis" which grants me 4 critical stars, which really helps since I am using mainly buster chains The arts card had the "Maiden of Orléans" Code that heals me for 1000 HP (or 2000 HP if I stack 2 fox buffs), while this CE is not my main source of healing, it can be the decisive factor of surviving a very close call. The quick card had the "Cosmos Voyager's License", which removes one ailment debuff from my character and grants me 2 critical stars. While a broad debuff removal code could be a good bet, since his curses last far longer than other debuffs, I thought it was best to stick to curse cleansing rather than depending on the chronological order of removal. I hope that helps you!!! I was seriously thinking of making a guide video on soloing characters and compositions, and your question moved me even more to that idea!!
King Hassan lv.118 😮 He is the male servant whom you like the most. Besides giving him the grail, what female servant did you give her the grail? (personal opinion)
It's a matter of perspective and usefulness. Append skills are generally not as useful as over-grailing in most solo scenarios, especially when your main dps relies more on damage than on refund. King Hassan gets over 2000 Base attack from grailing him to 120, and this is extremely significant since his kit is heavily oriented around boosting his base attack to achieve high damage outputs. If I were to use them on appends, I would be trading 2000 base attacks for a 50% extra attack at the very best, or a 20% starting dp which does not help me at all since it only works once, not mention that KH is already a very solid NP gain character. His third append also wouldn't help me, since it applies only to sabers. However, what would be indeed useful would be to get the extra attack buff AFTER getting him to 120, that would give me the best of both worlds, both in terms of additional damage and additional refund+stars
I wouldn't quite call this a solo, since you used George bond CE, Castoria invul, and Gong face cards but this is probably about as close as you can get to a solo at the moment. At least without unholy RNG
To be completely honest with you, having george wasnt to my liking as well. Overall having a forced character "like casturia" Pretty much ruins the whole thing since you basicaly miss a turn just to kill her without getting any decent damage or np charge, thats why i was more inclined to use george. As a F2P (as you Can probably tell from my NP2 KH), i dont the Luxury of expending hundreds of apples and saint quartz to get the Absolute best RNG not to use any support, not to mention that relying solely on RNG kinda diminishes the run imo. In any case, i really think soloing is more of a spectrum than a Fixed set of rules, true soloing is not possible in FGO besides grail fronts, we have to deal with what We get, and I that reguard, i Am very proud of my work
@@SoloingFGO It is possible in Spider raids Y But I would moreso call this a minimalist King Hassan setup than a solo, but this is still a better performance against Fluffy than I thought I'd see a single unit pull off. King Hassan carry
Because cernunnos Has a passive skill that keep adding "curse layers", each one increases his attack and defense by 10%. Each attack I deal removes 1 curse layer, meaning that by setting the NP at the third card, I get 20% less damage reduction, thus increasing my overall damage output
Nope, not even close. Strictly speaking, this year was the first time he was soloed at all, and mine is the first using only 4 characters having soloer from T1 onwards
@@erialhm9248 Miniscule?? Having a full row of supports buffing any character (forget if it's KH or not) makes this fight a whole different ordeal altogether. Soloing revolves around trying to beat content with as less interference/support from other characters as possible, it is a completely different way of game playing. There is just no way to compare two distinct arrangements like that, they don't fit into the same category
@@SoloingFGO oh yeah I was only counting the incoming servants that was providing small np charges and 1 turn buffs, forgot the initial buffers, got it
Soloing is more a of "spectrum" than a fixed set of rules, in my case I usually only use the bare minimum (Which is normally my main character +2 characters to die asap). In this case, since I had a mandatory high-level support (which means i couldn't use a lvl 1 from the support) I had to call chen gong for the kill, and that left me in a situation where i didn't have my usual george/leonidas support, so I gave myself a break and called him on the second turn to make up for the chain that i can't get the in the first one. Could i have done without him? Yeah, most likely, but for consistency's sake I found it worth to add George to the crew.
@@tyteo2180 Actually I could have. Cernunnos has a skill called "fae vampirism" which charges a tick of his NP, if he used that on Chen Gong on T1 (that is why he has 2510 hp), I could be set to die on turn 5 to his NP and trigger my guts in the last turn it would be up, enabling me to re-use his second skill to give me a health boost and continue the fight. Now, while this would be possible, I would need to have an even better RNG on getting the heal to boost every single turn and having him use the "curse consolidation' skill at least once, or a grimwhalk on a "safe" turn (since it would make him lose an attack phase), and pray that he never lands a critical hit . The reason I am saying that is possible is that I actually managed to get to turn 7 using this setup without George, but I was unlucky and got his cursed layer 3 times in a row while attacking and pretty much killed my run, and that is why i thought it better to give myself a break and get some consistency than to risk using all my apples that I was saving for nerofest.
@@tyteo2180 It always is.... FGO is not a game where you can actually be a complete "puritan" on how you solo stuff (besides grail fronts tbh), so you have to make the best you can with what the game offers you. In any case, I have lots of other videos that would probably fit your criteria of a "solo" (which seems to be close to mine), and even some older videos where I used lots of supports and still called it a solo. I think that in order to make a good soloing community we have to be somewhat flexible to what constitutes a solo, otherwise we will never find a suitable definition

It took me some hundred tries to figure out the optimal setup to even TRY to take him down, and some more hundred ish to actually make it.
Was it worth it? Absolutely!!! The whole process was Incredibly awesome.
I hope you Can use your KH to the fullest as i do to mine!
@@SoloingFGO Ahaha. I knew the bullshitery I was getting into when I spent 4 days trying to get this run right.
To be honest, I stalled the Cernunos fight and I was at the 800th~ turns until I saw your video.
I gave up the stall and started to raise KH to bond 12 in order to level him up to 120 and to make him fight Totoro. It took me 5 days to farm 800K bond points 🤮
I also love soloing with KH but stalling is also what I love about this game.
By the way, do you happen to have a slot to spare?
@@Old_Saru Ofc i do!!! just let me know when you send the invite so I can make sure to sort you in!

Thanks! The honour is mine.
i also used king hassan on this one, but not solo like this one
I did this with yang. Probably one of the easiest way to solo this fight.
There is no way to solo him with yang, she cant keep up with the debuffs by herself.
Still, with the right supports she can be very effective against him
@@SoloingFGO my team for this fight: Castoria,Scathach,Skadi and Yang. And my yang is lvl108+1.6k fou
Btw, what is Your nickname?

@@DarthKalamity i will take that into considerstion

Valeu nerofagggg!!!!
This was immeasurably impressive. I wonder if it's possible to do with NP1.
It is possible, but bear in mind that in order to make up for the missing levels, you would have to get to Bond 15, and get very lucky with the critical Hits
@@SoloingFGO Guess $700 CAD is going out the window when January comes around!!! F me. Ok im little bit sad ir i miss it but you have king Hassan right if you know or already know for those who doesn't know about ir other know about it but king Hassan has a 5% chances he will get a insta kill
That's insane.
TYSM my fellow grampy!
Can you say what command codes you had on him? Is it a setup you normally use on him?
Sure thing, I love building Command codes, and giving some insights!!
This is not my usual setup (For the standard set, you can look up any of my other vids), I had to make a lot of changes in order to make it work efficiently on Cernunnos.
The most important Command code lies in a buster card, its called "Djinn's Lamp"
It applies burn to the target, thus enabling my primary CE function of dealing a wapping 40% damage to everything a do.
The next buster card had the "Good Wife Wise Fox" Code that applies a 50%+ healing buff to whatever heals I get for 2 turns (counting the one it's used), which is essential for getting 4,500 HP to heal rather than the usual 3000
The last buster card is "Holy Night's Aurora Borealis" which grants me 4 critical stars, which really helps since I am using mainly buster chains
The arts card had the "Maiden of Orléans" Code that heals me for 1000 HP (or 2000 HP if I stack 2 fox buffs), while this CE is not my main source of healing, it can be the decisive factor of surviving a very close call.
What CE were you using for this?
@@philbourque9337 Honey Lake MLB
Best CE in the game by far IMO for soloing, almost tied with Black Grail

King Hassan lv.118 😮 He is the male servant whom you like the most.
Besides giving him the grail, what female servant did you give her the grail?
(personal opinion)
Yes, he is my favorite male character!
The female servant i grailed to 120 is kama, you Can look up in my channel, i have some solos using her too!!!
Wait why did you go with more lvl instead of unlocking appends?(they would have made things easier)
Maavhin ke 2 kalinya
How much does the buff help him in this solo?
Which buff?
In any case, i really think soloing is more of a spectrum than a Fixed set of rules, true soloing is not possible in FGO besides grail fronts, we have to deal with what We get, and I that reguard, i Am very proud of my work
@@SoloingFGO It is possible in Spider raids Y
But I would moreso call this a minimalist King Hassan setup than a solo, but this is still a better performance against Fluffy than I thought I'd see a single unit pull off.

Trying to give Wodan a run for his money eh?
Wodan senpai thought me well!!
No gauge from Castoria?
Nope
Y no gauge since it can help for Hazzan?
@@newkenjikun07 because its a solo video
Probably would be a bit easier if you used all of Castorias abilities. 😅
A little bit, but not that much since they would be gone when i would need them the most lol
why B→B→NP?
Because cernunnos Has a passive skill that keep adding "curse layers", each one increases his attack and defense by 10%.
Each attack I deal removes 1 curse layer, meaning that by setting the NP at the third card, I get 20% less damage reduction, thus increasing my overall damage output
Didn't Wodan already do King Hassan solo on fluffy?
Nope, not even close.
Strictly speaking, this year was the first time he was soloed at all, and mine is the first using only 4 characters having soloer from T1 onwards
@@SoloingFGO yeah just checked, Wodan did utilize other servants (even tho for miniscule role)
@@SoloingFGO oh yeah I was only counting the incoming servants that was providing small np charges and 1 turn buffs, forgot the initial buffers, got it
Why you put geo there in a solo ?
Without geo you would be dead some where around turn 4 or 5 . I doubt you can do it without some one buy you 1t away from cernunos
Or may be the concept * solo * is different between you and me > it's fine . Great run
