@@CarsonMcCracken i think i understand you, being that as long as you're not breaking the plane of how the robot already started it is not considered expanding then id agree
Is that within the 6 inch expansion? I would keep that in mind since it looks like it expands pretty far, the rule is that you can only expand 6 inches on the front and back (combined) and the same for left and right (combined)
Only by an inch and a half. I recommend using some CAD to design the geometry to make it in size. We just winged it and didn’t have time to make it all the way in size.
The geometry was just a lil off, we don’t cad for these builds in 24 hrs so we just winged it and it ended up being 2 inches too long. Can be done tho with the right geometry

good concept! just keep in mind that expansion is only allowed in one direction and cant switch to a different side

It starts at full extension on the one side already. So it is not expanding on more than one side…
There is vertical expansion and a horizontal expansion so in my interpretation it is legal. Not on the size though
