Peep Show is a British television sitcom starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb. - Приколы
Johnson & Superhans are two of the best characters in TV history.
Imagine a tv serie where they end up doing bussines together. So weird yet so great
The guy playing Johnson could easily play James Bond. Maybe even M.
Men with ven !,classic

"Right, dead right!"
I love how he gives Jeremy his own drink in his own room
Pure businessman
Power move.
After asking if he can come in & totally disregarding Jeremy saying No
It's called establishing dominance.
Haha also it was probably so he could get that vicarious pleasure when he watches other people drinking.
"You are seriously, looking at that document"
Gotta be one of my favourite Johnson quotes, cracks me up every time! :D
Ethical Bloom what does he mean exactly?
Get you a man that looks at you the way Alan Johnson looks at a document.
@@Romeoz06 he means you can really look at the details of a document when it is clearly displayed on a big screen tv
He inspired me to get a projector
Johnson's voice and delivery is absolutely perfect. Couldn't make the phrase "she's got a fat arse" any funnier!
Or " have you seen the big scissors?"
Unbelievable 😂😂😂😂
Say it !!!
I describe his performance as menacingly sexual
"I've got a 32" plasma in mine. You get a document up on that baby, and you are seriously looking at that document."
Best line in the entire show...
Jeff Gachihi agreed 🥴
I didn't get it
@@jeffgachihi8225 100%
I thought this precise line when I got a new monitor. First thing I did was a get a document up on that baby, to check if I could view it seriously enough.
I honestly cant decide who i prefer out of Hans and Alan. They're both incredibly well-scripted and well-acted characters
I know/live with people like Super hans so I would say Johnson. He is a great boss. No, Hanz is better. . You're right tho they are the funniest characters
Alan, cause he's me.
I want a Peep Show spin-off where somehow Johnson and Superhans end up living together
Some sort of situation where Super Hans is the only person left willing to work with Windows Vista? Provided he has had enough crack?
I love Johnson. So condersending, but the delivery is priceless. Ha ha ha
*smashes mug* "I can't believe I let this happen on my watch."
"Hi, can I come in?"
"Ummm, no..."
"Nice room. Here, have a drink."
Best part.
Connor Mosedale haha his face as he says it makes it even better
I love how he already came in the room before finishing his sentence.
Love how he gives him his own drink
I don't get why so many people love that bit. I mean, it's funny how Alan has assessed and predicted how to manipulate and placate Jeremy... But it's not that great.
@@itzajdmting it's not that deep bruv... it's just a comedy scene
Sophie wins an Oscar for best actress but we all know Johnson was the best actor in Peep Show
Super Hans
You are hot
Screamtosigh
She’s good at playing a dislikable character but I agree he’s in a different league
Completely agree
Missed one of my favorite bits:
"Our ambition should be to kill our clients. I mean actually kill them. With our levels of service. So they're dead."
Damn how do I not remember that
Alan Johnson is one of the greatest comedy creations in brit sitcom history.
The delivery of "I got something up on my visual display unit this morning" is sheer brilliance
I just realized that Johnson was only in 16 episodes!! Incredible, when you think how popular and influential he is
he leaves a powerful legacy
More fool you, asshole.
Gerrard left the true legacy
@@tigerskobhe loved the reds
@@tigerskobThat is SO Gerard
Johnson’s eulogy at Gerard’s funeral is incredible too
The weak make way for the strong. Evolution marches on. The scythe is remorseless
@@rkent06 yh class he stole every scene he was in
@@rkent06 people looked a bit shocked, but what he said was very true
I hope the scythes remorseless swing, can bring some comfort to you all.
Alan Johnson could talk me into anything
It's interesting that people are comparing Johnson and Superhans when the writers kind of stated that Superhans is the ultimate version of Jez and Johnson is the ultimate version of Mark.
They're both, respectively, what Jez and Mark aspire to be, they're exaggerations of aspects present in both Mark and Jez's personalities and they're also kind of dark reflections of the two.
Mind. Blown.
Michael Otis polool
That’s amazing. I didn’t know that.
I love how the person that Jez looks up to is an insane crack addict
Yeah Jeremy looks up to Super Hans that much that he pepper sprayed him
Possibly the best piece of casting in TV history
roddi733 ikr? even a secondary actress landed an Academy Award
MrBlaoblao yeah everyone loved Sophie’s scenes
@@roddi733 yeah in retrospect it seems she was criminally underutilized
"Should take 45 minutes.. I'm done in 10. Stick that up your Dojo..."
Don't be alarmed Mark it's just ti che
@@theorgazoid4918 he says it so smooth
Inner Peace, the Johnson way
I said that once when i won a move in a Japanese themed boardgame and made the girl against me cry.
Love the smooth gliding movement
I’ve always loved the “here have a drink” as he passes Jeremy his own can
every scene with johnson is his best
him and super hans are the best supporting character in the show haha
I love the running gag about Aberdeen being the Centre of big business
If we ever needed to cast a black James Bond,yo.
He'd be absolutely amazing
shlomo goldbergstein 007 just being the designation, she’s not the replacement Bond by any stretch lol
"The full wetsuit".
Never seen a Bond movie but I sure as hell would if he was playing him.
John Saunders I mean as an actor.
Why is Paterson Joseph not world famous and in everything? So good
There could never be enough Johnson.
He’s in The Leftovers and, to be honest, it’s weird when he’s not playing Johnson
... iz it cuz I iz ____ ?
He’s literally been in half the shows on British tv
He was one of the main supporting characters in Leo DiCaprio's The Beach before Peep Show.
"Look at you. You're like the fat girl who's just been asked to the school disco" Only Johnson can deliver that line without it being an insult
"45 minutes, I'm done in 10, stick that up your dojo" 😂
I'm in love. I'm in love with you Johnson
Feels good daddy-o!
Sometimes he lets me do the gears
“I’m going to be Johnson’s Queen.”
“You’re the junior guy so you’ll take the bullet.”
“Christ”
“Exactly”
The way he says £530 pounds, gets me every time 😂.
“Don’t thank me, thank the Microsoft Office Family. PowerPoint, Excel and Word. The three amigos.”
Poor old outlook!
Alan Johnson should have been the next James Bond/007 agent.
"I thought it was a high definition photo of some dog shit, then I took a closer look and realised it was your sales record!"
Don’t get me wrong Super Hans is superb but this guy is next level, certified scene stealer. The way he delivers lines and mannerisms are second to none. Make him Bond
I agree. Idris is water compared Paterson's Johnny Walker blue
Bond is a white male
But actors who play bond dnt need to be good.
@@jr7845 yeah but it would be sweet if one was
Don’t be alarmed Mark it’s just Tai Chi, take a seat and I’ll just power through
🤣...stick that up your Dojo
Fav scene in TV history
“Stick that up your Dojo”
My favorite camera cuts in the entire show
"Stick it on the laterbase" is a life motto to be proud of
"Should take 45 minutes, i'm done in 10, stick that up your dojo" LOL
Johnson is my absolute favourite. I’ve never seen somebody talk so much bullshit, but make it sound... meaningful
Phoebe I think youre right. He's such a cliche and yet he is unique at the same time.
I can't stop quoting Johnson in my daily life and the worst part is I do it in english so no one in my family understands me
oh yeah , as a primarily non english speaker i understand you all too well.
Are you a pathetic, worthless punk?
mikebott 👏👏😂👌🏾
Poor me, pour me another drink
I'll be Charles, and you'll be my, Camilla
I've literally watched all seasons of Peep show around 15 times or more. Absolute classic programme, no show can top it.
Seriously gets better with repeated viewing. So many layers and the acting is sublime.
I love the Mighty Boosh, but this wins
PhoneShop and Peep Show joint first
"I do sort of like it when hes rude to me. Hopefully thats a psychological defect rather than a weird sexual thing".
This line is very funny and very clever both in terms of what it means for the character Mark and what it means for society.
how do you mean what it means for society?
Every actor in this show is brilliant.
Listen to him in headphones and it's like a million times better, Patterson's voice is perfect for the role of Alan Johnson
I love how Jez doesn't even attempt to haggle over the price for Big Suz. 😂
Ahem he did say you could finger her for three hundred.
"You could finger her for £300" 5:05
Poor me. Poor me. Pour me another drink😂
george galloway?
"In. Fire 30% of the workforce. New logo. Out. You are now a management consultant."
Approach your challenges in life the same way Johnson approaches absolutely everything.
£530
That's my... Indecent Proposal
Fucking hilarious because it's just so accurate
@@malindalin5891 So british thats what i love about british comedy.
It represented an average weekly pay in the UK back in the time, apparently, so it was indecent conscience-wise, but right on par cash-wise.
Jeez would've agreed to it for £330.
His monologue/rant during the fancy dress party is missing and amazing.
Awww man I was waiting for that one to come on!
Cold white wine, ain’t that fine
"You're like the fat girl who's just been asked to the school disco."
He was always a great character, but they gave him so much more depth with the alcoholism and the breakdown after the failure of the company.
Every time I watch peep show, even after viewing 1000 I still find hilarious details I never noticed, the whole thing is just so perfectly crafted from script to casting to even the slightest facial expression in every scene.
"you put a document up on that babe and you're seriously looking at the document" is probably one of the most brilliant Peep Show lines
Johnson asking Mark if he needs to print anything on his first day in the bedroom office is very underrated
When Mark gets that pencil moustache to look like Johnson he looks like the chief blue meanie from yellow submarine
"ha look at ya, you're like the fat girl that's just been asked to the school disco"
I'd switch to Vista for this guy.
Alan is the best thing about peep show in my opinion
Super Hans is my choice
@@sgtbacon63 give me reasons Mr Blake
@@stevechristie2569 dunno, rental snake innit?
I dunno why they didn't use him more. Maybe that's the secret ingredient. Not crime. But using Alan Johnson's character in a limited way.
Johnson is such a sociopath xD
He is basically a character with maxed out charisma and speech
Its reflective of reality life really. Give any downtrodden, person who's had a crap life and being bullied a lot and eventually they start looking for positions of power. Cops, CEOs, politicians, managers, lawyers, senior executives, military, surgeons. So many sociopaths in these positions. Either that or they tend to end up in prisons.
Thank you Alan for those inspiring, yet challenging words.
Whenever I’m feeling down I put best of Johnson on 🤣 always get me back up
"I'm not going to bargain with you Jeremy" Johnson was class.
“Alan Johnson, I’m in love”
The 'Best of Johnson' is just every line Paterson Joseph ever delivered on Peep Show.
Suze! Where are the big scissors!?
Genius character, genius actor.
Johnson embodies coolness, so much so that even as a loser, he's still way cooler than I'll ever be in my next 50 lives combined.
Its hilarious how mark loves and respects Johnson’s ridiculous rants.
"I've got a 32 inch plasma in mind. Ya get a document up on that baby, and you are seriously looking at that document "
Is that normal pooing you are doing, Mark?
It doesn't sound normal.... it doesn't smell normal.
This is Bollocks Mark !!
Can't believe that wasn't in this
"Alan Johnson, I'm in love! I'm in love with you Mr Johnson." The most relatable line of the series.
Johnson's delivery is my favorite of any character on TV. Such an amazing character and actor!
I love how you're still putting out content years after its ended..
Its only been a little bit more than a year brotendo.
Think it's because of their new show.
Johnson seems genuinely hurt when he sees mark with a pint 😂
"Johnson"
"Mark"
"Johnson"
"Mark"
For like a month after finishing Peep Show when season 9 hadn't come out, I'd write 'Johnson' on all the oranges in the house to confuse my parents
Bullshit
Genius!
I’ll never forgive orange if they wiped the twins
"I do sort of like it when he's rude to me. I hope it's more a psychological defect than a weird sexual thing" that is so funny
"What, do you think the guys who invented Google sat around watching Trumpton?"
One of the single best lines in TV history
Funniest line
Possibly the greatest line in the whole glorious series!
You missed out the part where he gave Gerrard's Eulogy ("The weak must make way for the strong")
The judging eyes up and down. He does it so much.
The scene in Johnson’s bedroom has always made me feel so uncomfortable.
Brilliantly done!
'I'll assign you some slave drones, milk them till they're dead'
I actually worked on a real project called 'Project Zeus'. Cracked me up every time.
Just glorious.
There is something distinctively sociopathic about Johnson. He’s a darker, twisted “super-version” of Mark in many ways, although what sets him apart is the ability to feel confident through perceived social superiority, rather than just, in Mark’s case, intellectual superiority. Mark idolises him at first, but, like Jeremy with Super Hans, begins to see through him and pity him as the series progresses. The writers’ original plan was to have Johnson kill himself in the final series and for Mark to find him and his note, which would have epitomised this.
I always assume that meant a simple hanging, but according to Paterson Joseph himself; "We always talked about a Johnson suicide…I want him to kill himself in the bath with a picture of Mark. That's how I'd like to end him.”
I don't know if i want that ending or not.
That’s a terrible ending. He is delusional, pretentious and stupid at times, but he isn’t evil.
They could have pulled it off if they got the tone right, but it's a bit of a dark ending for a beloved character.
When does Jeremy pity Super Hans? Was that before or after sleeping in his toilet?
05:47 the moment you realise why Johnson pathologically loves the business so much
CardCaptorDeadpool Johnson has definitely wanked to a spreadsheet before
"You get a document up on that baby and you are seriously looking at that document."
i love this show...
Thanks for sharing
I do kind of like it when he's rude to me. Hopefully it's a psychological defect and not a weird sexual thing
6:19 "say iiitt!" Damn he knows how to control the situation.
"Oh, oh, yes take me Johnson"
According to one book, charismatic people poses 3 qualities: strength, warmth and presence. Johnson has it!
Patterson Joseph is such a great actor.
I can completely understand why Mark was in love with Johnson
Johnson is fucking awesome.
Johnson would be perfect for an old spice advert!
Every Johnson´s scene is the BEST.
Super Hans and Johnson are two of the best characters in TV history
This bloke is fucking epic!!! His whole attitude oh my god wish I had his front
Hands down the GOAT.
It’s really hard to choose who is my favourite between Johnson and Superhans. Both are brilliant in their deliveries.
Love this character ❤
Should take 45 minutes, I'm done in 10. Stick that up your dojo. They guy is a legend!!
