    I have a Lifepro Rumblex 4D but only use the oscillating mode. I stand on mine for 30 mins each night (10 mins on level 60, 10 mins on level 30 and last 10 mins on level 1). If I miss a day, my leg pain keeps me up all night. I have a medically fit compression pump but the vibration plate helps more than that does. My legs usually feel worse after using the compression pump. For my lipedema, the thing that helps the most is the vibration plate.

      Thanks so much for sharing that, @chellemullen2283! I would also say I enjoy mine more than my pump - it's certainly easier to use and cost less money 🤣Have you ever tried doing the vibration before the pumping the way I do to see if that's any different? I'd be curious if you see benefits from doing them together like the women in the study. In any case, I'm really glad you've found something that gives you relief! ❤❤

      I am interested in this one but so many Amazon reviews say that the machines quit working. Many had a replacement machine quit working as well.
      Have you had any problems and where did you purchase this machine
      Which 4D did you purchase. There are a number of versions.

    My sweet 23 year old son bought me two items for Mother's Day. A vibration plate AND a mini-trampoline! 😁❤️👍☺️
    I've been doing what I can only describe as Keto (for 3 months) turned Keto-vore (for 3 days). I lost 17 lbs, with that 17th pound being SO HARD to get off. 🥺
    Well I tried the vibration plate and trampoline yesterday, several times. I LOVE the feeling!!! I crave it.
    Woke up DOWN 1.2 lbs (after I peed like a racehorse this morning) knowing something is definitely different!

      @honeybee6154 you have such a thoughtful son! It sounds like it's working too. If you find yourself running for the bathroom a lot it means you are draining your lymph and dropping swelling. I find my weight can swing up or down ten pounds within a day or two if I am swelling. Keep up the great work

So when you woke up DOWN 1.2 lbs and had to pee, was it close to bedtime when you used it?? Thanks so much. Your video is awesome and so are you. :) Scott in NC.

    Absolutely the best thing I have purchased. I try to get on it 3 times a day for 15 minutes, morning, midday and evening. I have recently started using one of those shower brushes with the long handle and gently brush upwards from my ankles, all over my legs, and I can truly feel like a ants crawling feel under the skin, help that circulation and lymph flowing. Also I have always suffered from very cold skin on my thighs and ankles, sitting at my desk wrapped up in a blanket even in summer, but I have noticed since I got my vibration plate my skin is not cold any more and has a way smoother feel. It's only early days but the differences are very noticeable to me.

    I’m a floor lying jiggler - in the exact same way you demonstrate. Now on your recommendation I’m soon to be a floor lying meditating jiggler. 😊I have the Lifepro Mini Waver because I can use it at home and bring it with me on our travels in our van. Travel, using compression garments and having had several vein surgeries, can still reek havoc for me especially in my legs. I have Lymphedema and Lipedema diagnosed by Dr Herbst 4 years ago. She prescribed the Flexitouch pump, which I use every single morning. I thought it was fantastic and relieved so very many of my leg and arm symptoms but once I started augmenting with the LifePro Mini Waver my leg symptoms have reduced to almost nothing. I honestly look forward to my jiggling sessions every day as it feels heavenly. (Weird way to put it, but that’s how much it has helped.). Being in the healthcare field, for as long as I have, I was cautiously optimistic but at the same time pessimistic about the vibration plate benefitting the lymph system. My only regret is it took me so long before I purchased mine. Thanks so much for your continuing education about this monster of a disease.

      Block therapy, and the self healers protocol, are two more things yo look at. personally, I favor the Becky Chambers vibration products, that's what I chose from my husband. I have contraindications for using a vibration plate of any kind except to put one body part on at a time, for short periods. I advise everyone to double check for contraindications before purchasing any vibration plate. I had a negative experience after a chiropractor put me on one (it was part of his adjustment protocol). He should've checked for contraindications. I ended up back at the ophthalmologist.

    I am a new subscriber. I am so glad I found your channel. I was diagnosed with Lipedema last Friday. My doc recommended me a vibrating plate and a pump, and as a last resource a plastic surgeon (not just any doctor), and of course the compression leggings. I bought the plate that you recommend and I used it today for the first time. It felt great. I am stage I, and I am not overweight. My lipedema is mainly on my things and that is it. However, I have been an avid fitness enthusiast for several years; but no matter how much I exercised, I couldn't and still can't get rid of that awful mushy fat in my thighs. I suspected I had it because my mom and sister have it very badly. I bought the compression leggins that you recommend and how in the world do you put them on? It is extremely difficult for me to put them on. I am ready to give up on that, is there another option? I have always used tight leggings for my gym classes and I think that helped a lot, I can handle that. Also, did you try ablation procedures for the vein insufficiency. I also been diagnosed with that. I wonder, do I do that first before the liposuction? Have you done liposuction? I will make a consultation with the surgeon that my doctor recommended and see what is all about. As far as diet, I read that you followed the Keto diet and helped you a lot. Unfortunately, my doc didn't recommend it for me but said that a Mediterranean diet would be perfect, which I have been doing it all along. As long as I am careful with the carbs. I notice immediately if I overdo it on the carbs. Also, about the pump, I don't think I am yet there to use a pump. However, I bought me a device called The Curve which is a manual vibration/led machine; so I am going to start using it. Uff! so much to do with this awful disorder or syndrome or disease, which is it? Sorry, I went overboard, but I would appreciate your insights. God bless!

    • @sturdywoman
      @sturdywoman  Год назад +2

      Hi @mbartra! Sorry for my slow reply. I was on a self-care break of my own. How are you doing now that you've settled into the diagnosis a bit? I'm so glad the vibration plate feels good - it's one of my favorite things. The leggings are always the worst when they are new, but loosen up after a few wears. I've never tried this hack, but I know a lot of women find them easier to put on with rubber gloves. Think the kind you might use to wash dishes or clean the bathroom. If they are truly uncomfortable, see how you do sizing up. For my veins, yep, I've had a few rounds of ablations and sclerotherapy first in 2020 and again in late 2023. (Look for my videos about that.) It helped a lot with my swelling. I have not have liposuction but it's a very personal decision. I'd be guided by your doctor's advice on whether to do the veins first, but most of what I've read suggests it's best to do that first. Check out some of the Facebook groups is you want advice on surgery or specific doctors. Good luck and let us know how you are doing! Big hugs ❤❤

    I have had my LifePro Rumblex 4D vibration plate since 2018 and got it when the company was in its early startup phase. I went directly to LifePro and it is by far the best piece of equipment to help manage this disease. I have both Lipoedema and for years knew something was wrong-it was a knee surgery that caused my right knee and thigh to swell - the surgery should have been a simple one, but because doctors didn’t know or care to understand how lymph nodes could be damaged, I became a victim of their lack of knowledge and paying the price.

      I'm hearing great things about Osteostrong as well. I'm not sure of all the technology that they use, but the initial things I've listened to sound very positive.

    I bought one a couple of weeks ago. It is an Eilison. I use it by standing on it, laying down with my calves resting on it then switching back and forth to my legs bent with feet flat on it, sitting on it, and/or planking on it with my hands on it or my forearms. I think I am losing some fat. My belly looks like it is slowly reducing.

    I am SOOOO happy that I'm not the only one who ops to lay down when using my vibration machine! I actually rig mine by placing a wooden board i have and bridge it between two parsons chairs and i sit the machine on the board. This is set up at the foot of my bed and now the machine is at the height of the bed. I lay on the bed with my legs lying on the machine and it feels awesome!! The issue is i also want to alternate between this arrangement and also set it on the floor to stand on it. So i constantly have to lift it on and off the floor & its very heavy. I've been doing this insanity for 5yrs now and luckily never dropped it. I dont recommend anyone else doing as i do... that said i intend buy an upgraded one and then keep my current one always platformed at the foot of my bed. 😅

    I bought a wbv board off Amazon n it’s great, it has 5 different oscillation patterns and it’s on the bigger side, it came with the attachable bands with handles to do resistance movements on it too. I like to lay on the floor also.. I’m Addis red to the tingle feeling in my body when it turns off. I also sit on one side of the board with my legs on the floor and let it bounce me around to help improve my digestion and loosen tight back muscles. Or I’ve placed my hands on each side of the board while on my knees and let my head hang down to loosen neck and shoulders. That movement shakes my skull and I love it, it helps me sleep. Some people don’t like the feeling of their cranium vibrating tho. Hmm what else,.. I can’t eat before I get on the board or I will be nauseated…

I did a Google search and there is actually a condition that causes it but I don't remember the name of it. The recommendation was to take Benadryl before you get on the plate. Hi @DebbieLynToomey! Great questions. Using a vibration plate is definitely one of those "less is more" situations. You can overdo it! I typically use mine once a day for 15 minutes at night before I use my pneumatic pump. There is some evidence to suggest it might make the pump (or MLD or dry brushing) more effective, likely before it gets everything flowing. I also went through a period where I added a second 15-minute session first thing in the morning before putting on my compression. I hope this helps! ❤

      @DebraKlein-iv3eb I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner! This important thing to look for is that it oscillates, meaning it doesn't just shake it also tilts side to side a little bit. This up and down motion is really helpful for moving the lymph. I know the Life Pro Waver oscillates but I can't tell if the Hotwave does too. What I CAN say, is that Life Pro is just an awesome company. Their vibration plates have a lifetime guarantee meaning that if anything happens to it EVER they will replace it. This comment isn't about vibration plates, but I hope if I post it on your most recent upload you might still read it. I am so done with this lymphedema/lipedema/venous insufficiency! Unfortunately it's not done with me. I feel like my whole day every day is spent trying to deal with this nonsense. Massage, pump (that insurance is taking forever to approve), so I bought one on Amazon and it's hard to handle to get it all on; got a massage gun; doing reduction with bandages if I go to the therapist, reduction with, elastic garments by Circ-Aid myself at home; exercise; massage again; back into reduction; and elevating my legs at night. I can't even fit into any of the compression hose or garments. I am so discouraged and tired. Will it get easier?

    • @sturdywoman
      @sturdywoman  Год назад +7

      Hi @bonniebarlow4939! You're right that it's easier for me to keep up with comments on newer videos - thanks for noticing that. I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. It sounds like you are doing so many things right! I'm going to tell you what I've been telling myself lately, though. Stress is also bad and stressing about our condition and doing the right/wrong thing is counterproductive. Some days will be better than others and that's normal. Is there anything that brings you joy that you can do while you are doing some of the other things? I like to watch silly TV shoes, listen to podcasts, sit with my cat, etc. (She loves the vibration plate!) I hear you, though. I've definitely had days where it felt unfair, like "too much" and just plain discouraging. On those days I give myself permission to skip some things (like pumping) if I really don't want to do them and would like to just go to bed an hour earlier. On the compression, did you know that CZSalus does custom sizes? It runs about $100 US depending on the exchange rate (you have to buy in Euros). Check it out if you haven't found that yet: www.cizeta.it/en/Customized-sizes If you are getting MLD from a therapist you might have them help you do the measurements. Sending big hugs ❤❤

      @simplecookingwithrabbiah1385 I focus on conservative treatments but I'm sure you will get some answers in the lipedema Facebook groups. Patients frequently share experiences with things like that there. Good luck!

    Is there any medical reason to not use a vibration plate? My dr knows nothing about it and I’m basically figuring this out myself.

      yes. There's A list of situations that are completely contraindicated and there is a list where caution and medical supervision is advised For temporary contraindications and situation's were a very gradual approach is needed. Like beginning with just one body part, or a very gradual progression. Becky Chambers has that information on her website. she's been doing this for a long time, and has her own ideas about the proper movement of these machines. More and different isn't always better, in fact it can be disrupting to the body in a bad way. According to her. I would point people to her if they are fragile in any way, or getting older and wanting to use it for as long as possible, or wanting to use it for a family that has members of different levels of fragility. I recommend her gentle 500 for the elderly for sure, or a larger platform version with the ability to be that gentle, plus a stabilizer bar. The nice thing about the gentle 500 is that it doesn't take up nearly as much floor space. I got one for my husband, (I have contraindications for standing on it and getting the full benefit of the vibrations). So far so good. We are able to locate it in a logical place between bathroom and bedroom so it's easy to use as part of the daily routine. Whatever you get, I think it's important to make sure that it gets used regularly. And sometimes that's all about the real estate mantra that says "location, location, location."

    Do you know of any specialists in south Arkansas?

    • @sturdywoman
      @sturdywoman  6 месяцев назад

      @dollykafloppers4515 The Lipedema Foundation has a Provider Directory here: www.lipedema.org/provider-directory and there is a patient-reported list maintained by the Lipedema Project here: lipedemaproject.org/lipedema-lipoedema-lipodem-provider-directory/ If neither of those are helpful, I recommend joining one of the regional Facebook groups for lipedema and asking there. But remember, you really only need a formal diagnosis if you want a pneumatic pump or liposuction. Good luck!!

      Thank you for this information. I’m struggling with lymphedema after double mastectomy in 2021 and dealing with my husbands dementia now and non mobility issues/depression . I do not have much for insurance now and just looking for help in exercises and keep my body in motion. The pain my body feels in lower back and legs… haven’t been able to figure out if it’s the 100 lbs I gained in the last 3 years or if there is something else wrong. Lipedema would make sense. I will start catching up on the videos and learning what I can do to feel better .

      @lfuentes4098 I live in an upstairs apartment too. It's very quiet, nearly silent! I have a creaky wood floor so I use it on a rug just to be safe but have never had a complaint. I've had it for more than three years across multiple neighbors and have never had any comments! My washing machine however... :D I hope this is reassuring
