Apparently , there is a theory saying that when you wake up for seemingly no reason it is because your brain detects that someone or something is watching you , which ties in with the first story Edit : Sorry about my bad English
It's because your ears or nose are picking up sound or smell from your surroundings. Our brain is constantly picking up stimuli from our surroundings, even while we are asleep. In the first story, his brain picked up on the rustling of the man under the bed, the door opening, or the scent of the man. If the story were true, he would have been caught sooner, because most people snore when they sleep. It's involuntary, and something that can't be suppressed. Thanks to the creators for curating such a hair-raising selection. Can't wait to share this with my fellow horror enthusiasts! More creepy stories, please
I really don‘t understand why people will announce to intruders that they will call the police, giving them enough time to escape instead of just calling the police right away…
Probably because that’s what a lot of people want. They want to scare them away/let them escape instead of potentially being harmed. I don’t think its really thought out, people are just scared and want to survive
From the description of the attack and the body to the thing they saw, it honestly almost sounds like they encountered a Werewolf. Of course, the more mundane and realistic explanation is it was likely just a Bear attack (which is still scary, to be fair).
The second story shows that there are things out there that would make even the most battle hardened soldier quiver with fear. The third story is why you need a shotgun along with a wheel gun and two fully trained guard dogs.
Thank you for being so consistent in your uploads and sticking to being you and not changing! We love you the way you are! Been subscribed since you started and not going anywhere!
The man in the first story could have EASILY done terrible things to that kid. It’s not okay to break into a home but at least he wasn’t like.. violent
The second story sounds strangely similar to the real incident "The Diatlov's Pass" that actually happened in the same country. This was freaky cause it looked like the same "thing" attacked them also.. 😳 Thank you Mr. Nightmare !
The breathing thing is so weird and it happened to me too. The air conditioning stopped and I heard heavy breathing. I held my breath to see if it was just me, but it wasn't. Went on for a while.

Awesome stories, really love the details you have put into. Keep up the great work! You have inspired me to record my own chilling and spooky horror stories. I am just starting out but love it already sooo much, tyvm for your engagement!
The second story made shivers go down my spine for the first time in years. My mother is half Russian and it just reminded me of so many folktales and recounts from soldiers I’d heard over the years. I can’t tell if they met on a crossroad with evil or if a spirit of the land decided to take things into its own hands. It’s a scary thought

I have been listening to u since before i had my kids. I still fall asleep listening to ur stories. Thank u for all your hard work and dedication Mr. nightmare!
Another fantastic collection of spine-tingling tales! This video proves that there's no shortage of terrifying stories out there. I was completely engrossed from start to finish, and I have to admit, I may have jumped a few times too! 😅 The narration and storytelling were top-notch, creating the perfect atmosphere for a haunting experience. Thanks to the creators for curating such a hair-raising selection. Can't wait to share this with my fellow horror enthusiasts! More creepy stories, please
Crazy story!
keep up the consistency bro! 🙏🏾
I can't explain how I love a stranger this much like I love Mr Nightmare!! Great stories. ❤
We know that
Mr. Nightmare is like the older brother that likes to scare you with scary stories lol.
I've been binge watching the hell out of this channel. Just finished a video, and here comes a notification. Nice!!
That second story really made my skin crawl
Same im thinking the creature was a mythical beast like bigfoot or something
@@EternalPayneMost likely a Yeti
@@RedCommunistDragon or a bear
@@GangsterPanda92or a werewolf
This guy's voice and delivery are the best for this kind of story. Nice ambient music and sound effects, too.
You realize something very serious is going down when your enemy starts crying as what happened in the 2nd story. That's really terrifying.
Thank you, Mr. Nightmare, for sharing your gift with the world. Your videos have provided countless hours of entertainment❤
Thank you for being so consistent in your uploads and sticking to being you and not changing! We love you the way you are! Been subscribed since you started and not going anywhere!
I really appreciate how detailed you are. It’s clear you care about delivering quality content.
Does anyone else listen to these stories in bed with their eyes closed and create the visuals of them in their heads as if they were really happening?
YES OMG 😳 I THOUGHT I WAS ALONEEE
@@thoughtfullAI355 Your never alone
@@josephprendergast2 Cause u replied I realized I yet haven’t finished the stories so guess tonight I’m getting nightmares!!
@@thoughtfullAI355 Your getting nightmares because I replied?
Cannot wait to see what you have in store for us in October!!
Crazy story!
That 2nd story is scary af
From the description of the attack and the body to the thing they saw, it honestly almost sounds like they encountered a Werewolf.
The man in the first story could have EASILY done terrible things to that kid. It’s not okay to break into a home but at least he wasn’t like.. violent
You don't know what he was doing when the kid was asleep, either.
Only you can tell horror stories so flawlessly. Awesome job.
The second story sounds strangely similar to the real incident "The Diatlov's Pass" that actually happened in the same country. This was freaky cause it looked like the same "thing" attacked them also.. 😳 Thank you Mr. Nightmare !
The strangest thing about the Dyatlov incident was the bodies were radioactive and there were orange orbs spotted in the sky
@@Shagyamum True.. 🤔
@@melaniemyre9687 apperently the radioactivity was from chemical lamps but idk about the orbs
The "monster" in Diatlov's pass was the cold.
The "monster" in Diatlov's pass was the cold.
Please make more ❤️ I love listening to them falling asleep
The breathing thing is so weird and it happened to me too. The air conditioning stopped and I heard heavy breathing. I held my breath to see if it was just me, but it wasn't. Went on for a while.
damn
That sobbing from the second story is from SCP-096 from SCP:Containment Breach
I’ve been listening to your stories since I was a freshman in Highschool, fall of 2015 before Halloween on the school bus. I’m 22 in a sober house now & im tuning in as I eat breakfast. Keep up the good work Mr Nightmare I love your content man
That second story is by far the most terrifying one yet. It actually had me feel chills most of the time
From the description of the attack and the body to the thing they saw, it honestly almost sounds like they encountered a Werewolf.
Of course, the more mundane and realistic explanation is it was likely just a Bear attack (which is still scary, to be fair).
Mr. Nightmare is the Stephen King of narrating horror stories on RUclips
A lot of respect to Mr.Nightmare for providing such good content for us for so many years!
Crazy story!
I feel bad for Mr. Nightmare’s kids when they ask him for a bedtime story
😂😂😂😂
Ive work in my fathers warehouse. Daytime its ok. Nighttime.
.the long staircases, huge rooms, huge basements, every hallway, room, u need to find a light, it can be frightening
Mr.Nightmare I love listening to your stories it’s very good you make me in a very very happy 😃 you are amazing❤ (I hope you get this comment)
Quality content as always. Enjoying listening with a nice cold beer after a long day at work.
Imagine Mr Nightmare having a kid, and he tells him these type of stories 😭
War stories like number 2 would actually be pretty interesting to hear more of. Its not nearly the same, but it reminded me of the movie Ghosts Of War i watched a few years ago
Awesome stories, really love the details you have put into. Keep up the great work! You have inspired me to record my own chilling and spooky horror stories. I am just starting out but love it already sooo much, tyvm for your engagement!
Story #2. I’m guessing it was a Siberian tiger attack. Keep up the great work. I’ve been a huge fan of this channel for almost 4 years
Siberian tigers live in the far east of Russia, nowhere near Germany. It was more likely a Eurasian brown bear.
Or a werewolf, who knows?
The second story made shivers go down my spine for the first time in years. My mother is half Russian and it just reminded me of so many folktales and recounts from soldiers I’d heard over the years. I can’t tell if they met on a crossroad with evil or if a spirit of the land decided to take things into its own hands. It’s a scary thought
From the description of the attack and the body to the thing they saw, it honestly almost sounds like they encountered a Werewolf.
Of course, the more mundane and realistic explanation is it was likely just a Bear attack (which is still scary, to be fair).
The first one - he didn’t need to tell us the scenarios in which his sisters can stay home with him, that was literally so irrelevant to the story.
