It's too economically inefficient and slow to power it only by steam all the way, especially given that the passengers won't be able to notice much difference from the inside - normally it is powered by modern Russian classes EP2K for electric and TEP70BS for diesel parts.
I thought I was the only one that had to keep pausing it. It's as if you have to watch it once just focusing on the details about the trains and a second time just watching the pictures.
Even without captions, it's too fast to be able to appreciate what you're seeing. I tried slowing playback speed to ,75, then .5 (!) and that was better.
I keep my the finger on the spacebar and keep pausing. Finding myself watching many things like that these days, going back and forth, reading the subs....other times, just go with it ya know.
Awesome!!! I traveled on the Blue Train and in Rovos Rail in Sourh Africa. I would love to travel on the Maharajas, the Royal Schotsman and the Trans Siberian. I love, love, love trains.
Looking at RUclips videos I think Japan has just aquired an even more luxurious train. What I love about it is it's not built with typical train windows and there appears to be private cabins with bathtubs and fireplaces in each cabin.........FYI to all travellers to Australia there is also a luxury tain trip called the Indian Pacific that goes from East to West.

You forgot the Shiki Shima in Japan and the Twilight Express Mizukaze in Japan. The 7 Stars ia really nice, but the Shiki Shima is probably nicer and the Twilight Express Mizukaze at least its equal.

I was shocked to see this video for as a normal train and express train not useful things like sleeping well in good also seeing like top richest trains more like a home many sections are here. Wow 100/100.

Okay The Scotsman is not the UK’s only sleeper train. It’s not even the only one in Scotland. The Caledonian is just as luxurious. You should check it out.
No I’ve seen the Caledonian it doesn’t compare to any of the trains on this list the a trip from London to Glasgow will cost you 200£ it’s not luxury at all but nonetheless a very decent sleeper train

Okay The Scotsman is not the UK’s only sleeper train. It’s not even the only one in Scotland. The Caledonian is just as luxurious. You should check it out.
