The current world speed record for a commercial train on steel wheels is held by the French TGV at 574.8 km/h (357.2 mph), achieved on 3 April 2007 on the new LGV Est.
Incorrect ! It was a world speed record for a railed vehicle at the time, but it was a test version of the ongoing TGV designs. In addition the voltage in the overhead wire was significantly increased for this test train. Normal commercial units could not traverse that line until the voltage had been reset to the normal 25,000v.
@@JamesSmith-mv9fp Records are never set in commercial conditions. 574,8 km/h remains the world record for trains running on "classic" rails. The French TGV is also the train on rails with the highest commercial speed.

If the L0 actually can manage Tokyo to Osaka in 1hr7mn that's a massive improvement. The current trains take almost 4hr for that trip. If the ticket prices are reasonable it could mean that all points between Tokyo and Osaka become potential "day trip" locations for people who otherwise wouldn't consider it. It has the potential to be a really good thing for the economy on either end. It may even help tourism overall. Foreign visitors to Tokyo who might otherwise not see Osaka could do so, and vice versa. These kinds of super-low travel times across countries like Japan are great since there's really a lot to see.

However, the Japanese Shinkansen runs on the complicated terrain of Japan with 16-car trains every 10 minutes. There has never been an accident that nobody is killed for 55 years. And it has never been buried in the ground. The E5-type in this video is called the Tohoku Shinkansen, which runs in severe conditions for the railway. The type one runs in the Tohoku region. As I asked about trains, you suggested some to view, just loving watching these!!!
Glad to hear that! I encourage people to watch the most recent ones of each topic, as some of them are old and a bit outdated.
@@indigoplanet9966 Ok will do.
you forget the TGV France !
TGV FRANCE : 574 km/h, undefeated world record !
a guy who likes countryballs megalev is not comparable to the train featured here. It is not running on wheels and does not have the versatility in use that classical trains, as here featured, have.
Countries fighting over who has the fastest train meanwhile we don't even know what a train is in Lebanon
Yugh
You should ask the Armenians about that.
My father told me they used to have underground metros but the destroyed bc of war
nice one
Surprised not to see the JR700. It hits 176mph with a max of 198. May not match the likes of the Maglev in Shanghai, but the JR700 makes up for it with its efficiency.
Plus the simple, sleek and elegant design is a real eye catcher. Call it the workhorse of high speed rail.

i love my country !!!BTW China also have testing 600kmh floating train
Good video 👍👍👍👌
Thank you 👍 There's a much better version of it, You can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/mtaPfcCBqFw/видео.html
French TGV reaches a record speed of 574 km/h. Which is for sure above the mentioned ones.
TGV 574 kph only experimental. Not yet commercialized
Japan LO series train still under construction, ready only by 2027. Now only 2019
The first high speed train was made by Japan in 1964.
King in technology will be back in 2027.
Even in service,it's goes about 360 kph and max is 400 kph
@@chagrinle742 you forgot...China
Legends says getting hits by these trains sends you to new solar system 🤣🤣
Amazing Vidio. 👍👍
Many Chinese take high speed train to work from one city to another city. After all people can move 350 km per hour.
That's the speed of coronavirus 😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷
Yeah. So we are equal now at the speed of spreading virus. Some even do better than us, should we say congratulations to these people or countries? Virus is disease and can happen anywhere. Do we wanna get this and spread it? Do you wanna?Sometimes free speech is a weapon can stick people heart. hope peace in our heart

Well, Shanghai's Maglev is correct. I worked in Shanghai for 6 months. Rode the Maglev many times. There are certain hours it runs at only 300km/hr. (don't know why, but top speed IS 430km/hr. Wonderful train to ride.
Definitely. Talking about the Frecciariossa 1000 it shows an ETR600 and an ETR500! Ha ha ha
@@talisbriedis Running in top speed will cost more energy per kilometers. That's why the train runs 300km/h when it's not that busy.
Very COOL 😉🙂
No Japan 603 winner
