when you Singaporean and the moment you saw the price of the prawn noodles u fainted...
Ong ying hwee i can eat prawn noodles for more than 1 week w that amount of money 😂
haha ikr ... they spent 45 for breakfast and thats like 2 weeks of my pocket money ... rip
EXACTLY WTF WHY IS IT 10DOLLARS, like I know it's a large serving and there's many ribs and prawn BUT TF
I know right! At where I live ,the coffee shop sells it for 5 sg dollars!
I can relate. It can feed me for a few days!
Im a singaporean but i feel like im watching a different country in this ep HAHAHAH they film it till sg is such a amazing country im so proud of sg 🇸🇬✨
BAHAHHA tht is my reaction 5yrs after they filmed this😂
they shouldve went to hawker centres and not so touristy places. even if you go to places like hawker centres, the food can be just as good and there will be shorter queues.
junkrap would be a little difficult to find out online using a korean server haha 😂
Xin Tian Chua i see.
And cheaper
I never knew that adding chilli with xiao bai cai can make it kimchi😂
Gag Concert Fan i just tried it and it tasted nothing like kimchi...it just tasted spicy
Gag Concert Fan of courseeeee!!!! Kimchi is the best...hehehehe
Gag Concert Fan good for you! But i find that the kimchi in singapore is not as nice as korea...it taste bitter for no reason
Gag Concert Fan ohhh...maybe i shld try going to korean stores instead of regular ones...Come to singapore! But keep neutral standards for food😂...i have never been to US , supermarkets there look hugeeee!
@@shashalow7621 honestly, kimchi always tastes better if you make it yourself.
Anyone clicked on the video bcs u are from singapore and u see them going to singapore? Because that is literally me doing that! Plus i love watching battle trips because i get to see FOOD! FOOD is LIFE and i can't live without FOOD! (ok that's wierd)
AlpacaGirl_ i searched singapore and this came out
haha :) nice one for me it just came up on KBS and was recommended!!
Lol that was so mee
Same
The way they say Singapore is so cute
Omg when they poured the chili into the Ba Kut Teh i cringed.
I'm not from Singapore but I've been living here for a while now and I totally understand why they miss kimchi while they are eating. Simply enough, it's because they are in a foreign country and the dishes were so foreign to them. When I go back to my home country, Australia, I always craved Singapore's Chilli Crab and Hainanese Chicken Rice. I also miss my favourites - mee soto and laksa
Seeing them enjoying our country’s attractions and local food makes us Singaporeans watching feel so proud
It's weird to see them coming to our small country but I'm honoured 😂😂❤️
These two are always a blast on variety shows especially when it comes to anything to do with eating. They clearly enjoy their food and both being comedians they are good at making themselves funny and entertaining.
I'm a Singaporean , I really enjoy watching this two guys ..Both are really funny & fun to be with.. Hope you guys enjoy in Singapore 😊😊😊 Thank you bring Singapore name in your vlob😘😘😘
I FEEL SO PROUD STAYING IN SG 'THIS IS MY COUNTRY THIS IS MY FLAG WE R SINGAPORE'~~~~~~~~~~
redfullpack thnx 😉
I see Singapore and i click. Why? Cos its my country. Welcome to my country, folks!
yeah, my country of birth too
for Korean KBS TV viewers watching this episode , welcome to Singapore!!
While they were around arabic place in Singapore indian song was playing 'tunuk tunuk' rather than in little india, well even by visiting they didn't know india and arabia has very different cultures, watched just because of hayoung and still liked this overall episode it was not bad ☺
I've been to Korea and Singapore and honestly you can save way more money in Singapore.
I died when they spend 50 sgd on the first meal 😱😂😂😂
Same
They came Singapore but I didn't even know 😭
JING YEE me too
Mee ttooooo
It is so fun watching them discovering Spore. They are really good.
Yay! Another Battle Trip on Singapore!!
Wow singapore HAHAHHAQ im proud
:) :) :)
I only found out they are from Gag Concert
They get that Singaporean Energy Flowin’!
Such an interesting and enjoyable program. Love the travels and friendly humorous competition making everything so exciting.
A trip featuring food, food and more food is the best....!
13:47 Anyone noticed Singapore is spelled wrongly? 😂
But I'm still thankful for this
there is an ExTRA "g". Or does it stand for a hidden compliment?
redfullpack Yep there's an extra g
at least this time KBS got it correct by saying our Muslim countrymen places of worship is a *MOSQUE* and NOT a Muslim temple (as heard in KBS 2016 travel battle episode 7)
As a Singaporean, I've never tried that before but I'll try that after my Os :) But the last info was actually shocking! I've never expected that many Koreans in Singapore!
adding one more fact. More and more ajummas, ahjussis, halmoni and harabolji (elderly aunties, uncles, grandmas and grandpas from Korea) are visiting Singapore on GROUP package tours
I love this show so much ♡♡
Tbh there are much cheaper cheaper places in Singapore to eat, especially in jurong west and Jurong east 😂😂
6 shadesofroxy nah little india probably has one of the best food and their briyani wow 💓
6 shadesofroxy bugis too lol
Yeah lol. The one next to nanyang CC, the one nearby hong kah point.. etc XD
i live in jurong east too... hhahaha
yeah.. actually they should have went to hawker centres, cheap but quality food
Yoo Minsang & Yoo Seyoon made all the Singaporean dishes look so delicious anywhere they went now I want to travel Singapore! Good episode!!
Honestly?Im Singaporean but Ive never went to any of the restaurants they went lol
same lmao
Hi izzati, because they need to follow the KBS program details visiting the specific restaurants.
not quite the same as free and easy trips from other Korean tourists visiting Singapore :)
Haha Izzati me too
SAME
Izzati oiiiozzooioii
Eat at non-tourist places, get out of downtown and head towards the west, east or North-east area it's much cheaper
Yeah, but it is boring as hell out of Downtown. Saving a few dollars on food is not the only thing to do for a holiday.
YASSSS SINGAPORE!!!!
its cereal prawns not almonds!!!
Kimberly Chan I thought it's oat flakes 😂
They didn’t dipped the ribs into the chilli padi with black sauce :ooo (my way and many other ppl way of eating it haha)
It is cereal prawn
麦片虾好吃
I think it was cereal prawns with almond.
they could have just bought kimchi in supermarkets if they miss kimchi so much
It seems that there is a stubborn myth that Korean food isn't available outside of Korea. I also think that due to many foreign foods being expensive to import and Koreans not having been free to travel much until just the last few decades that Koreans don't sample non-Korean foods much or if they do they are heavily adapted to the Korean palate and they know that, so foreign foods are a bit intimidating still. They aren't alone in that. Many Americans enjoy a pretty unvaried diet with few ethnic foods or exotic spices or preparation methods and are then uncomfortable eating anything other than McDonald's or having a burger and fries at the hotel restaurant when they travel abroad.
uuuu Joseph vincent’s - blue skies as the BGM! so happy when i heard it! haha
Wow! Best video ever! Not only did they promote my country well, there is also GFriend at the end! My buddy heart is happy!
I love the bgms....
#1D
I m not sure whether they eat their food before or after Mega Jump?
But for other Korean visitors watching this, please note it is very easy to vomit or throw up if you ride *just after eating*
My favourite duo when it comes to eating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually a pretty well done trip imo! :)
Seeing this make me feel proud to be a Singaporean 💞
Finally a new episode!! Hopefully soon there will be new episodes of 2 Days And 1 Night!... Ahh Kim Joo Hyuk...💔😢😭😕😖😣😔😓
I am more of a TvN drama follower
They must do the swing in singapore at night... It looks amazing!!!
oh my god bring me to singapore😍😍
We will be going in singapore in december and i guess i watched the right thing :)
Singapore my homeland!
As a Singaporean, I have never NEVER spent $50 for 3 bowls of prawn noodles for breakfast. They chose the most expensive 3 in 1 , which consisted of prawn, spareribs and pig tail.
Can't wait to eat Singaporean and Malay food now!
wooooah so someone i knew saw them in singapore now i get what theyre shooting about
Im in Singapore but didn't not they were here.i really wish oneday if i can coincidentally meet them 😆😆
I am an Indian and honestly yoghurt rice and lassi are definitely not the same!lassi is a cooling sweet beverage while yoghurt rice is a food staple of South India!
Cool
The previous battle trip to Singapore is way better. These two guys doesn’t make it look good, plus itenery was bad too
at least it is Good the KBS travel planner did not bring them to areas at 1 Tanjong Pagar or to Upper Bukit Timah. Any Singaporean would Know WHY
these 2 fat guys are from Gag Concert, hahaha
Their main purpose was food tour not itenery
That ride doesn't look safe at all
But when they we're screaming it was really funny 😂
it is safe but you can throw up your food. Ride with an empty stomach
They came exactly 3 months ago..
a simple guide to getting cheap and good food in singapore:
1) go to a hawker centre
2) find the longest queue and join (usually its delicious!)
3) enjoy!
agree
waste time
I am singaporean and I prefer cereal prawn to chilli crab :p
YO $15 ON A DISH
my pockets are gone
xxMysterxx Alyssa i swear singapore is cheaper than that
i could eat 5 meals with $15
xxMysterxx Alyssa, they need to follow the planned tv program details. Not exactly a free and easy trip
It will be good if they come to Jakarta/Jogjakarta since there are so many delicacies :)
in singapore the fried bread they were talking about is called "youtiao" and we usually dip it in soya milk or even coffee for breakfast
it is also usually dipped in porridge
Yep
Those are not fried bread, it's YouTiao which is fried dough sticks.
they stayed at Ibis styles Singapore at macpherson road!
If i have a chance to come back again to sg i would like to do all this stuff
Omo hayoung your so pretty yahh
When the theme is "Food Trip" but I didn't even think about Singapore's foods at all. (ฺBut, Osaka and Kobe, YES!!)
As a foreigner, I just thinks about Shopping (which didn't match to me), Universal Studios, Marina Bay, and Sentosa.
Love to see they love India
Tbh with you, there's even way more cheaper options to eat in Singapore!!
I LOVE MY COUNTRY SINGAPORE ANYONE AGREES?
Me too!!
I wonder if they visits the Sentosa and ride on the roller coaster 😂😂😂
World loves us!
Singaporean buddies 🙋🏻😆
Wow the bakuteh stall? Haha when I was near the bungee ride, some other koreans were asking about the place too! Seems like a famous stall for koreans
When I was there, I noticed that Song Fa has signs in Korean so I'm guessing so. =D
The bak ku teh is my grandma's friend shop and we often get free meals there XD
Ikon playing in the back though. 💓
i suggest to sleep at Mi Hotel. Mi Hotel located near Bugis and Orchard road. i suggest that hotel cz they provide a phone for every room. and u can bring it when u explore singapore and its free to call to any country. only need to put it back in your room when u check out from the hotel. a cross from the hotel there's a food court that serve chiness, korean, japan food.
Only want to share my experience at SG. hope it can help ^^
So good to see them dancing on Indian punjabi song
Like what one of the guys said, the chilli mixed with dark sauce is supposed to be a dip for the meat. The veggie is already drenched in a lighter soy sauce, and you can also eat it together with the fried onions for extra flavour. Well, when I say "supposed", I just mean how the locals eat it, and the way it is commonly done. but of course, to each his/her own. If dipping bakchoy in chilli soy sauce tastes like kimchi, then I think it is a good & innovative tip indeed! (Disclaimer: I've never tried it before though lol)
Kekeke everywhere says their the first Chilli or black pepper crab restaurant
Wow when did this happen i never know
Basically there is more food at hawker centre but you have to speak English if not Chinese neither Malay.
*_THIS IS HOME, TRULY_*
Did someone recognized 5SOS music on the bg in the beginning or was it just me...? I know this is not about the this show or something but I love 5SOS and I wanna know if there are people who also recognized it....don't mind me...
This was watched at 1 October 2017 (1 month ago).
They didnt try so many sg popular dishes oh my...
Did they try the chilli crab? Cuz it's singapore's famous dish
I'm real late but they ordered the large size 🤣 The normal size should cost 5+ per bowl of the prawn mee if I dont remember wrong. They ordered the expensive one, and in large size and ordered extra 🤣 And they ordered so much of the Ngor Hiang... even when my family eats there we don't order that much XD I'm not surprised they spent so much.
THEY ARE JUST EATING NOODELS ALL THE TIME LOLOLOL
I'm curious about dishes originally from singapore, because I'm planning to go there soon and i dont really found the answer in this ep. I want to taste foods which are singapore speciality 😅
Putri N21 jus go to a hawker centre, you'll find all ur options there, if u want one with a much wider variety strongly encourage u to got to lao ba sa a huge hawker centre and also a famous tourist spot
I know I'm late but I'm lucky that I live at Singapore! ;)
my school is at that place wowww
obviously if u go to tourist areas, then everything’ll be expensive
I am shook they spent $50 on breakfast :") You can easily get all that they ordered with less than $10 lol... Maybe even $15 max.
I AM PROUD TO BE A SINGAPOREAN😍✌

Don't people know that the best places to eat local food in Singapore is the hawker centres? And it's really cheap too!!
