People use to suggest letting water run on the blooms to freeze over when you would get cold weather into the mid twenties. However, the water needed to be kept running until things warmed up and the ice would sometimes destroy the trees due to weight. Glad your blooms made it.

Despite the freezing rain, it didn’t really get that cold, I think the lowest low was 31 or 30. Glad things pulled through, looks like one more light frost next week and then warm weather on the horizon

Agreed! Looks like another cold snap this weekend and next but after that I’m taking the tropicals out of the garage
