No, not at all. People are stuck on this idea that they need huge ranges for their cars. The vast majority of people will be perfectly fine with this range. They might “think” they need more but given the standard driving distances people commute, 200-300 is more than enough
You can get the model 3 performance. That has more range and is a bit cheaper than the kia. Less power but strangely better performance. You do have to give up the styling and deal with the zen Tesla interior.
@thedumbconspirator4956 Tesla still has some build quality problems, and honestly, i think i would go crazy sitting in that interior. Also, there is no drift mode to my knowledge, and I'd rather buy from a well established manufacturer tbh.

my dad got a kia ev6 gt line last may and absolutely loves it. he has already put over 15,000 miles on it and has taken it to florida twice. the only thing that he wishes was better was the range. he gets about 250 miles normally but in the winter with winter mode on it’s about 110. for only driving around town it’s fine but for long trips it’s a little unbearable.
The thing is your old ice would almost always have the same exact range everytime its full but this would almost always be degrading and losing range as you go with it@marlo8850

I drive a EV6 exclusive as a taxi here in Norway. Have driven it for 138K km since we got it a year ago. Very reliable and zero loss of battery capacity as far as I can notice. It is an awesome car overall.
Just got one today and i love it and to correct you on the mileage thing it’s only 206 in gt mode in eco mode i get around 240…but with todays traffic its not much but it gets the job done and can’t complain with 3 years of free charging.
That’s all in sport mode, In Eco mode (your typical car mode) it goes 512 kilometres, and sport mode on full acceleration takes the miles away, typical driving can get you 480-512 kilometres

206 isn't worthless, and I believe they go up to 270 iirc. It works if you're truly in the city, have a home charger or good route, and are willing to rent if you're to roadtrip.
I am good with the range I charge at home with my ev6 gt line and plus if you drive normal you will get more range. If you change the rims you will see a difference in range I guarantee that

But when in highway cruise it disables the front axle motor which I notice increases the range and would probably put it closer to 300. Kia def has a winner with this model for sure, its so slick.

What I don't like about electric cars or hybrids is the lack of sound. There's nothing like hearing a supercharger or Hemi coming down the street V8t all day!!!
For more than $50k MSRP, and there's the real world factors like accidents, vandalism, and mother nature that could happen to it which would then depreciate that value of this car so sharply! I would think twice before buying this, man. Also, charging station accessibility since this car runs on absolutely no gas.

The GT line version has the same range as Model Y. Not as fast as GT though. Still 0-60 in 5 seconds on awd version. Great car.
