Great theory There are 2 other theorys that fit with yours that explain the paradox pokemon 1 is that the disk pokemon is making the paradox pokemon and not taking them from the past/future so instead of iron treads and great tusk being from the past and future they are donphans from the present that the disk pokemon changed. The 2nd fits your theory better it is that the paradox pokemon and from other worlds like ultra beasts but are similar to pokemon found here like the galar birds and the time machine is actually a ultra wormhole generator linking our earth to a different world that is more primal or futuristic.
So while I'm not sure that US/UM is connected, I'm almost pretty sure that XY, SSH, and SV are definitely connected. I can easily believe that Galar, Kalos, and Paldea (or at least the nation that pre-dated Paldea) were at war 3,000 years ago, after all England, France, and Spain have constantly fought through out history in our own world. AZ of course ended the last great war on that continent thanks to his weapon, a weapon that powerful could EASILY knock a meteor down onto Galar, causing The Darkest day, while at the same time the weapon's target would leave a massive crater, likely wiping out whatever civilization WAS there. And in Paldea the next great kingdom to appear wouldn't show up for another thousand years later and would take another 1,200 years before the entire nation to unite under one country. As for the gimmick and the legendary that is likely causing said gimmick...AZ's weapon could have easily tore a hole in time-space, AZ was targeting the main stronghold of his enemy crystalizing it and one pokemon inside was strong enough to survive but was crystalized as well, AZ was targeting the main stronghold of his enemy that also held a legendary and it was accidentally banished outside of time. Any are plausible. Honestly, I'm hoping for something that ties the three regions together because 3,000 years comes up WAY too much to be a coincidence.
I always felt Eternatus was in some way related to Necrozma. When I first saw I thought it looked like an ultra beast. And the parallel with “The Darkest Day” and “Light that burns the sky” just seemed fitting
So much about Eternatus screams Ultra Beast. The design, the faint jingle it has at the end of its cry that is very similar to other Ultra Beasts, and its space and dimensional warping capabilities. There’s no way its not connected.
Also noticed that kalos’ ultimate weapon (and the one giant red crystal of that city in XY) looks like it’s made from the same material as the crystals, it would explain the reason why AZ is abnormally huge (as he was the one who fired it) and why he and his flabebe have lived for a ridiculous amount of time. Not to mention Zygarde’s hexagon motif and his alien-like features
Furthermore, Mega evolution is referenced by the past forms of Salamance, and if we are to believe that they are from another reality, could that mean that mega evolution is not evolution, but instead your pokemon fusing with the variant form, taking the strengths of both pokemon. It would be interesting if that were true.
In Archeus, a part of alchemy, there are 4 ethers: life (Zygarde), light (Nekrozma), chemical (Eternatus), and reflective (Disk Pokémon). Alchemy, in general, is also defined in 4 broad stages symbolized by colors: white (mega), yellow (z move), red (gigantamax), or black. Tera Raids that are 6+ difficulty, with exceptionally high levels of Tera energy, are shown as black crystals regardless of Tera type. Maybe the next Pokémon generation will involve all of the gimmicks or at least tie into the Philosopher’s Stone, which is alchemy’s ultimate goal? Edit: xy
Could happen this generation. Also, just pointing this out: Zygarde fits more easily in this theory, as it's the Trio Master of the Aura Trio, and its job is to ensure their is a healthy balance of birth and death in the ecosystem.
@@pietropellizzaro8224 deoxys I think is less likely to be related since it is a virus and is able to replicate itself through using its DNA/RNA and which does somewhat reflect a virus who mainly contains RNA which instructs cells to make more of it. It is very much like a virus in most aspects except it doesn’t require other organic matter to clone itself. The other forms are likely just different variations of itself as a Virus and Viruses are know to replicate at such a rate that mutations are very common place in Virology. While a cool Pokémon it is simply just a self sustaining virus which while very scary has more to do with actual science rather than the occult
Would Explain why only now they decided to give Arceus it's own game. As the creator deity of the Pokémon universe it would make sense that it would have a big roll in the heavily alchemical inspired era of the franchise, since alchemy was a practice within catholic churches in medieval times.
@@leCuttlefish Pokémon has hidden lore of man playing god in several of the games, with dubious goals behind some of them. Humans transforming into Pokémon or creating homunculi is not a far-fetched concept either. Think back to Red & Blue Researcher Bill; although by accident, he is able to outright transform into a Pokémon. His example, however, is purely out of fanaticism for Pokémon. Mewtwo, on the other hand, is a modified clone of Mew with human genes, created with the intent of being the strongest existence. Ditto is also thought to be experimentally made from the same vein as Mewtwo, although a failed product. An amoeba-like creature able to adopt the likeness of other Pokémon (and even humans).. what is the intention behind its creation? These examples surely follow the ‘alchemical homunculus’ theme.
Either that, or Game Freak just cannot come up with any new ideas so they have rehashed the same concept three times already and they have nothing in common in reality. And the sad thing is, it is most likely what I said, as a cross regional story with three different main legendaries is very unlikely
I have had a theory about this. My thoughts are that it's all the same energy, but applied in different forms. D-max: acts like a mech around the pokemon Z-crystals: makes a field around the pokemon that amplifies its moves Mega Evolution: mimics the energies that cause evolution to hold it in a more powerful state Terastalize: condenses into a solid shell around the pokemon, and feeds it energy
And the photo of the disk pokemon has similarities of mega evolution light and not to mention this game is set in the mega evolution timeline not saying megas are coming just saying it's in mega timeline is all
I love the idea of the disk Pokémon being this lovecraftian “dreamer” type of entity that can bring sada and turo’s dreams into reality by giving them what they wanted to see the most. Btw great theory video! It totally slipped my mind that Titan Pokémon are almost identical to the totems in Alola. My mind immediately went to Alpha Pokémon and the nobles from PLA when I saw a reoccurrence of big boss monster type Pokémon in scvi.
@@Jeduardo17 Actually, from what little we know about the disk pokemon, i think its more comparable to Yog-Sothoth (aka Cthulhu's grandpa). Yog-Sothoth is described as "a congeries of iridescent globes" that exists outside the boundaries of time, and the disk pokemon is described by Heath as having a shell that "gleamed brighter than gemstone" and is possibly responsible for the presence of pokemon that are (supposedly) from the past and future.
1:29 I'm pretty sure the "cl" in "Garganacl" is a reference to NaCl which is obviously the chemical formula for table salt, the basis of its design (Cardona salt mines). The Nahuatl comparison is definitely apt looking at their similar shapes, but the naming influence seems less likely than sodium chloride
That is definitely the origin when you look at the pre-evolutions as well and the fact it has a complete salt theme. That being said, however, its not impossible to be a double reference, they have done that before
@@alanmiraanime I feel it's especially a double reference _because_ Nacli and Naclstack don't end in nacl. Only once the Pokémon looks like a Mesoamerican temple does the nacl go to the end of its name, like how a lot of deities from that area end with tl.
@@liamwhite3522 The whole Mesoamerican influence on the pokemon seems like a fair bit of stretch given that the Paldea region is heavily based on Mediterranean Spain, as well as that structures resembling Garganacl's appearance aren't unique to Mesoamerican cultures. Halite, aka rock salt, which is what the Nacli line is based on is known to form isometric cubic shaped crystals more point to the Nacli line simply being salt and nothing more in reference.
@@Luna-zx1fx We literally have Kung-Fu Pokemon who originated in New York (Throh and Sawk in Unova). It's really not that big of a stretch to say the Pokemon with a cubic pyramid, whose name ends with "cl", could've been partly inspired by mesoamérica. Especially considering Spain's connection with it
I've always wondered about how so many games have characters from other games with memory loss, and hoped there would be some canon reason for it eventually. This video feels like a really good theory connecting all the last gens so I'm hopeful that these characters will turn out to be part of the lore.
There are 2 separate time lines in the games that branch at Az's decision to fire the weapon or not one timeline with megas the other without I believe this is why characters might seem to forget between entries because it's the same character in 2 different dimension
That's what I was thinking! The last few gens all felt like something was missing for me. Something that this multiple gens/regions together like Arceus did.
I believe the ones who fell from ultra wormholes are officially called fallers and usually have amnesia. I guess that means you play as a faller in legends Arceus since the dialogue options are just limited to things that hint that aren't aware of your past.
I have a theory: As you mentioned, the pokedex entries for the galarian birds pretty much implies very clearly that the galarian birds aren´t the original three legendary birds that we all know from Kanto. But given this information it brings the question: What are the galarian legendary birds then? And I have a theory about it, but first, a bit of context: You know how Ho-oh turned three pokemon that died in a fire into the legendary beasts? (and the popular theory of them being originally the three Kanto eeveelutions due to the type similarities?). This information is important for my theory because it kinda sets an important precedent: some legendary pokemon have the power to cause the existence of other legendary pokemon. So, why this information relates to the galarian legendary birds? My theory is that Eternatus energy (most likely unintentionally on Eternatus part) mutated three regular flying type pokemon during the first darkest day and turned them into legendary pokemon in a similar way to how Ho-oh turned those three kanto pokemon into the legendary beast. But not exactly in the same way (something I´ll explain a bit further into the theory). Now, is there any evidence that could back up the possibility of this mutations happening? Let´s analyze what we know about the first darkest day to begin with: Zacian’s Crowned Sword entry from Pokémon Shield says : “Able to cut down anything with a single strike, it became known as the Fairy King’s Sword, and it inspired awe in friend or foe alike.” Zamazenta’s Crowned Shield entry from Pokémon Sword: “Its ability to deflect any attack led to it being known as the Fighting Master’s Shield. It was feared and respected by all.” Who are the fairy king and the fighting master that Zacian and Zamazenta helped in the past (most likely againts Eternatus during the first darkest day)? It´s widely believed that these dex entries are referring to Calyrex as the fairy king (while not fairy type itself it´s highly inspired by Oberon, the king of fairies from medieval literature and to king Arthur) and Urshifu, of course, as the fighting master. Why this is important as potential evidence that could back up the possibility of these mutations happening in three regular flying type pokemon? My theory is that when these three regular birds mutated into legendaries during the first darkest day as a result of Eternatus energy, they also gained the types of the pokemon that were fighting againts Eternatus due to their proximity to them: The bird pokemon that got Calyrex psychic powers became Galarian Articuno and the other ones took the dark and fighting type from urshifu respectively turning themselves into Galarian Moltres and Galarian Zapdos. You may be wondering: But what about Calyrex grass typing and/or if both versions of Urshifu were also there? Well, there is a huge dynamax tree that definitely was affected by Eternatus energy and that ended up getting as well the grass type energy from Calyrex (which is also called "the king of bountiful harvests"), which would also explain why they fight over the three since it probably became their only source for food after they got permanently mutated along with it. And if that doesn´t seem right and you (but I think it´s a bit less likely) there is still certain mythical pokemon in Galar that just happens to be part grass type and that is the only mythical in the region so far. And if both urshifus were there the fighting type from rapid strike and the dark type from single strike could´ve been the ones passed on into the mutated bird pokemon (and the developers probably decided to use these types specifically and not the water type from rapid strike to create the type trio that nullifies each other : dark, fighting and psychic, just like the do with the fire/water/grass starters of each gen). Is there more evidence of potential mutations? Calyrex itself is the only pokemon that has a blue dynamax aura (and while this could be due to Calyrex own power and due to the connection of the color to royalty, the dynamax phenomenon only started in Galar after Eternatus arrival, so it could potentially be the result of a mutation as well). Not to mention that purple is also a color for royalty (that just happens to be the one that the bird that potentially got Calyrex psychic type passed on has). And Urshifu (both of them) are the only legendary pokemon able to use gigantamax, so this could also potentially be the result of a mutation caused by Eternatus as well. You also may be wondering but then why Zacian and Zamazenta didn´t ended up mutated? I think that the reason has to do with the fact that they got granted the steel type thanks to their relics. Steel type it´s the only type that is a counter to both of Eternatus types at the same time: dragon and poison, and that those relics were probably carried by the ancestors of Swordward and Shieldbert, that later on got mistaken as the saviors of Galar and became kings). So yeah, that´s the theory. TLDR: The galarian birds where potentially three regular flying type pokemon that got mutated by Eternatus energy and that gained the types of the legendary pokemon that were fighting againts Eternatus, along a normal three that also got mutated and became their only source for food and as such, the cause of their fights over it.
This theory is kind of all over the place and cherry picks things that matter and what doesn’t matter, and it also doesn’t at all explain why the birds became so similar to the Kanto Birds.
@@grydon6422 No, It doesn't. Why do you say that? They just took similar appearances. They aren't exact copies of them. They mutated into the form of some of the (lore wise) most powerful kind of flying type pokemon. And it's a mutation, not them getting revived like with the legendary beasts.
I have something to add: I think this is all related to generation 5's dream world. Specifically, I think the mechanism that allows you to enter a world of dreams, take physical objects out of said world and in to reality, and also obtain pokemon with abilities they can't normally have, but which are associated with the ideas related to them (like politoed somehow summoning rain), are all connected. And guess how Unova is shaped? A disk. Just like Paldea. Also, you know what Musharna can do with dream mist? Create a Ghetsis that looks just like the real thing. I that all the paradox pokemon, and maybe the entirety of area zero, are ideas given physical reality by the disk pokemon, with that mist being involved. Oh yeah and the whole area zero is covered in mist, and dream mist itself is the same pink color as dynamax and Ultra wormhole energy.
Another connection to Unova is the third legendary. Kyurem, 50% Zygarde, Necrozma and Eternatus are all pieces of a bigger and more powerful creature (Original dragon, 100% Zygarde, Ultra Necrozma and Eternamax). Plus, originally the Kalos games were supposed to be about aliens, so the extraterrestrial elements are in all of them. We just have to wait the DLC in order to see the disk pokemon
Now I really want to know what the original dragon looks like and what does it do, maybe it could bring another connection to these. Maybe the splitting of the original dragon caused the absence of powerful gimmicks in Gen 5, but imagine how powerful it would be for a pokemon to be the truth and the ideal at the same time. So far, the only possible connection gen 5 could bring is the Dream lore of gen 5, the Entralink, Reshiram and Zekrom being compressed into stones when they're inactive, Kyurem being able to extract the light/dark stone to bring them back into him (an empty shell), and some unused game data such as pointers to previous regions.
One major Pokémon you’re directly missing out on is Zygarde, literally formed through hexagonal shapes. I think the connections are much closer to him than these other two. But also all four of them are connected through infinity energy.
Zygarde hasn’t shown any potential for wormhole/space manipulation and doesn’t directly induce the gimmick of the region it’s introduced in. The only thing that’s similar is the hexagonal shapes, and ALL pokemon are inherently connected to infinite energy, the tragedy of sea mauville and the events of ORAS is evidence enough.
I don't think Zygarde fits in here. I'd Love to see if Hoopa has anything to offer, though. See if there's any visual similarities with the way its portals and stuff work.
I feel like the snake form of zygarde fits really well with the disk pokemon. A reptile with a long tail, a "crown" of scales on its neck, and the repeating hexagons. The only thing that doesn't make sense is, how would zygarde create the tera phenomenon? Maybe it's an ancient form of zygarde or a distant relative (since scarlet and violet has quite a few pokemon that reference real evolution, I'd put money on that one) but it does seem to relate to zygarde.
Videos like this give me hope that GameFreak will eventually give us an amazing cross-region lorefest that ties games together. Amazing work. Also, it's worth noting that the Ultimate Weapon may also tie into the whole crystal/light thing somehow.
Not likely considering the timing. The Ultimate Weapon was fired 3,000 years ago, but the crater is millions of years old. There's also the mysterious tablet we see (and the mention of others) looking like it was specifically placed when the crater was already there, not before the crater was made (it stands on the ground instead of being fallen over or lying in the dirt) suggesting that people lived inside the crater, and yet as of 2,000 years ago people never returned when exploring it, suggesting that the tablet is much older than that, while the depiction (and the drawing on the ground where we can find Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant) suggests these ancient people already knew about the Terastal Phenomenon and the Disk Pokemon. And the Terastal Phenomenon in the modern era has only been going on for a couple hundred years. Aside from the assumed proximity to Kalos, there is nothing connecting the crater or Terastallization to the Kalos War, the closest connection to Kalos and gen 6 being some similarities between the Disk Pokemon's hexagons on the shell and the hexagons on Zygarde
Bro I just noticed this ties in with AZ’s abnormally tall height, if he was involved in building the weapon out of the cristals that would explain why he’s so huge and why he and his flabebe have been alive for so long
I wonder if Hoopa's ability to open wormholes to pluck other pokemon from their homes is also something to consider OR if it's before Gamefreak decided to make some overarching lore.
Another thing that doesn’t add up about the paradox Pokémon is that they were supposedly inside the crater well before Sada / Turo even built the time machine, as Heath describes them in the Expedition journal. Arven pointed this out in one of the post game small talk scenes in school and it just gives more credence to the paradox Pokémon actually being fake. Great video! It’s awesome actually having stuff to discuss in Pokémon again
That could be part of the reason behind the choice to call them "paradox" mons. They had to exist beforehand to inspire sada/turo to research them, but then were brought into the world by sada/turo. this does make a paradoxical scenario because both events feed into the other in a chicken/egg sort of way
I personally think paldea itself is the disk pokemon. The "crown" in the drawing is the crater of area zero. And I think the disk part is actually spherical and underground! I think area zero is the inside of the pokemon and acts as a sort of womb for pokemon to terrastalize. As for the lizard-like head, it may be a guardian of sorts, or just it's head. And I think it's sleeping. Given the structure of paldea, it's very much possible it's inside/underneath glaceado mountain. I'm excited to learn more about this pokemon! But it's really fun to think about the possibilities!
a reptilian guardian with relations to hexagons? in a region presumably near kalos? that brings zygarde to my head... not to mention zygarde's "thousand arrows" and "core enforcer" are very light beamy, and it's signature ability, aura break, can invert a type boost. it also has a rather malleable form.
This is really good!! If you haven't gone down this path already, there might be some merit to looking back at Zygarde and the Ultimate Weapon of Kalos - Zygarde supposedly keeps the ecosystem in balance and it uses the hexagon motif heavily. Zygarde Cells are literally hexagonal.
I remember hearing from somewhere originally X and Y had a completely different story that involved zygarde being an alien, and roaring moon DOES look an awful lot like mega salamence.
Moreover, the crown atop and the face of the disc Pokemon resembles a interpretation of Zygarde's own features. It is possible that the two are related.
This video is finna bout to blow up I think you've hit the nail on the head with the direction you're going, I would suggest incorporating gen 6 into this as well and trying to connect it to complete form zygarde, xenrnes and yveltal both release energy that is the light energy released from the ultimate weapon, zygarde exists to monitor this in the enviorment, perhaps everything will come together finally in generation 10. (which is likely to be Australia, google the picture in the art teachers room)
Isn't everything since Gen 6 in a different universe from the first five generations? I remember that being the explanation for why Megas existed in ORAS when they weren't in the originals. If that's the case, all the gimmicks might be different manifestations of the same thing or at least come from the same source. I really REALLY hope this isn't where it's going (I tend to prefer Pokemon games with simpler stories and don't want Gen 7 levels of mashing the A button to get out of "cinematics"), but Generation 10 might tie them all together. One thing that makes me think it's unlikely, though, is that they retired Ash from the anime now instead of waiting to send him off in the generation that caps off the multi-generation story that would be. Even if they didn't tie the story of the anime into what's going on in the games, if they marketed it right they could recreate the Pokemania from the '90s. If they announced that they were releasing a game that tied up the past four generations AND that Ash is having his final adventure, it would bring a lot of people back who might have wandered away from the franchise over the past couple decades.
Listening to the list of traits you mention, I cannot help but think of Deoxys as well. Similarly to the others, Deoxys is extraterrestrial in origin, has crystalline body components (in this case the gem from which it generates its body), can alter its own biology, and has an association with light and in the anime electromagnetism. It lacks the ability to make wormholes, but it's otherwise a contender for the list, is it not?
This seriously makes me wish that one day we might have a pokemon game that takes us entirely either into space or on a far away planet. The closest we got was when we fought deoxys in ORAS
I never thought all the 3 past gimmicks would be related to each other! And you did a great job explaining them in an organized and logical way! Your editing is also great.
In SM, Necrozma had crashed into Earth and remained buried for years according to the lore iirc. And I theorize that Rose found Eternatus buried in what would become the cavern in the Crown Tundra where one can obtain the past gen legendaries. Then there's Kyurem...
I am loving this theory. The similarities would just be a little too coincidencental to not line up, and the implications of these legendaries being related and coming together for a massive event in say, possibly gen 10, are incredible
I’d like to note that gen 6 to 9 has introduced a lot of ideas about alternate universes, how to be transported tot hen, how things are transported from them and potentially how they are created, which is a kinda weird underlying theme that connects those games together.
Great video, it brings up a lot of neat ideas. It's quite interesting to see how those legendaries designs are very different from their peers. Most of them are not fleeting deities to worship, they're not protectors or guardians. They're not really encompassing a concept either. They are a concept in themselves by how they so unnaturally change what they can influence. They're also tangible in a way, as you can explain where they come from. Not here. But also by how they impact the world around them. For example, Koraidon and Miraidon are supposedly common Pokémon from their respective time periods, just like how Solgaleo and Lunala are everywhere in Ultra Space. It's likely those trios are all part of a whole, a different whole. That's a very striking difference from the legendaries depictions we usually had. Not only because of their non-Earthly origin, but also their demeanor. They don't have a duty. They simply exist. In a way they are truly modern Legendaries, as they bring new resources into the world, like how Kyogre created oceans, but in our time instead. I'm guessing the Disk Legendary will tap into unwanted creation, dreams and imagination. Which is also a way to influence without wanting it. Very interested to see more!
Cydonia (an Italian youtuber) came up with a very similar theory on the release of S&S, and expanded upon it recently. You can watch it but keep in mind subtitles may mess up
When I went through and read the clues in the game, it seemed like the "disc pokemon" actually showed you what you dreamed of and it just appears to be past and future because of the respective professor's dream. That also explains the disappearance of Heath's beloved cyclizar and the appearance of Koraidon/Miraidon.
I have thoughts that Zygarde may have some importance here as well, the disk Pokémon and the whole Terastallization phenomenon all link to hexagons, and Zygarde (and Xerneas with geomancy) also is coated in hexagons, and since Paldea might be right next to Kalos there's a chance something's going on there too, since Zygarde also appeared in Alola where Necrozma was
Interesting! I had come to a similar theory regarding ultra wormholes and the paldea "time machine", but the conclusion I came to was that the paradox pokemon were simply taken from alternative universes that just so happened to house those strange pokemon. Many of the ultra beasts themselves could be considered to be "past" and "future" pokemon, like Buzzwole and Celesteela, plus past like and future like dimensions that support alien pokemon are also confirmed. Ultramegolopolis in particular might even be the far off "future" referenced in Turo's magazines; a high tech futuristic environment where people and pokemon have adapted to a harsh environment with the help of technology. The Ultra Jungle wormhole location could be where Sada's paradox pokemon were pulled from. I hadn't even considered the relation to dynamax though
If we follow this topic, there is one specific pokemon that is also related to this, Zygarde. When time comes when the BW/BW12 remakes came and have the original dragon(Another theory), One dragon would also awaken. Remember that according to lore, Zygarde cells are everywhere meaning it knows everything that is happening and if the threat of the original dragon and the Crystal Legendaries(Necrozma,Eternatus,Disk Pokemon, and maybe 2 more legendaries until the XY remakes... or pokemon Z, we will have the war arc again), Zydarde will defend it against thoss light dragons.
A couple additions to an otherwise fantastic video: You technically visit Alola in the future when you encounter Guzzlord in USUM, so traveling through time in Ultra Wormholes lines up. And the fact you can shiny hunt legendaries in Dynamax adventures when they are usually locked I think adds up to them being alternate versions from other dimensions/times
This has been the most convincing explanation of the disk Pokémon and the past few years of Pokémon ive seen in years. It never even occured to me from returning legendaries and gimmicks that the worlds may be interconnected, I KNOW POKEMON GAMES ARE CONNECTED BUT HEAR ME OUT every pokemon game thus far has not been a continuation but its own stand alone title technically excluding HGSS as you could travel to and from Kanto. Thinking in the way that the last 3 generations have all been building towards something has me excited for Gen 10.
A thought I'd had some time ago... What if none of the Paradox Pokemon, or even the Tera Raid Pokemon, are actually "real" Pokemon? What if they're more like imagined or desired pokemon given a physical form through the power of the Disc Pokemon and the Tera Crystals? And the Professor's "time machine", instead of actually pulling a pokemon through time, was instead tapping into the legend's power to essentially 3D print a new Paradox mon, and the professor just didn't realize that was what was going on in there? Granted that, uh, that leads to some possible concerning consequences of the AI's last act...
That's probably the point. The AI is probably now trapped in a dimension which the Disk Pokémon created and filled with other Pokémon to grant that wish.
some things i want to point out that could add to this theory - firstly the “paradox pokemon are from a different time period which isnt similar to ultra space” is easily fixed because of the existence of places like the ultra ruins, which are literally just hauoli city from a different timeline also another important note - the pokedex entries for past paradoxes in violet and future paradoxes in scarlet should be taken with a massive grain of salt. in their own game they are described as “oh hey this looks like that thing from the violet/scarlet book”, but when in the opposite game, it always makes a note of mentioning “hey this looks like this thing that was mentioned in a dubious paranormal magazine”. the thing a lot of people are missing is that its literally meant to be an occult conspiracy tabloid magazine and its just a matter of what version you’re playing that makes the “bigfoot is real!!!!” type stories true or false in said magazine or
As the player, I felt constantly questioned about the existence of the paradox pokemon for the reasons explained in the video. Then journals in Area 0 talks about how the AI assistant appeared out of nowhere and how Sada/Turo was so obsessed with time travel that their family relationships declined. It almost felt like Sada/Turo willed everything into existence. My stab-in-the-dark guess is that the disk mon is more of a non-sentient wish granting machine (kind of like clockwork stars from Kirby) and that the professors used that energy to create tera orbs, the fake time machine, paradox mons, by extension the box legendaries, and the AI/Paradise Protection Protocol.
Except that the AI assistant didn't appear out of nowhere... Arven states Sada/Turo was working on it last time he saw them, and the journals show when they came up with the idea to make their AI Assistant, right after the other Professor left and Arven was born. Also, that "imaginary" theory complicates the whole Heath Expedition and the sightings Occulture reports on, and without the whole "the other professor went through time too and they collaborated through time to make it all happen", it removes the "Paradox" aspect (and that theory overly complicates it as well...
Finally someone do it it English so it'll be more popular. This idea was did already in 2019 by Cydonia, an italian youtuber and, from his reading of pokemon lore, i want to tell you a more possibile origin than alien, sinnoh gigant. In 4th gen, in the library, is telling that arceus plate was created from defeat giant energy. Maybe the dragons are litle part of gigant (like eternamax) tath are tring to destroy the world of order created by arceus. Is very more complicated than this but i wanna to make more popular this theory so, if you wanna and you can, search infos. I hope that this can help you :) P.s. sorry for my bad english
A better explanation is that it IS taking them from other times, but not the past and future, rather from parallel worlds. So in one universe you have people recreating Pokemon with advanced technology as natural pokemon were driven extinct, while another universe stayed in a world where maybe humanity had a harder time, or they didn't advance technology nearly as much, as Pokemon can do a LOT of things you'd usually build technology for, thus why build them if you already have that need met. So one creature transports powerful pokemon from around the world, another takes powerful pokemon from other universes/worlds, and this third one takes powerful pokemon from other timelines. Each creates portals, just to different targets.
The gigants that once battled the original being are coming back from their slumber, and we are only seeing the fraction of them Nice to see these theories and kind of content starting in English (BTW Italians figured it out a while ago somehow... The channel "cydonia" explains it)
Aw man I hate cliffhangers /j. But seriously, great video! Pokémon lore since gen 7 has interested me very much but I somehow didn’t deep dive into S/V lore despite enjoying the climax. I didn’t even know the disk Pokémon existed until this video and man now I hope we see them in potential DLC. It’s very fascinating that there’s hints that all the regional gimmicks as of late-expect megas rip-are tied together in some capacity, all having effects on the Pokémon of their said regions whilst granting them specific abilities. It be interesting if these 3 alien dragons as I’ll call them were actually one Pokémon but spilt-potentially akin to Kyurem? Which so a LOT of dragons are splitting in this universe-even if I see the possibility of them being a actual trio despite being tied to ones a likely outcome. Either way, I cannot wait for the second part and also curious to see what other videos you do, cause I just got this randomly recommended but very much enjoyed this discussion of lore. : )
There is also a big thing not mentioned: in Kalos, the ultimate weapon seems to use a very similar energy to the disc pokemon. Mega evolution and paradox forms are extremely similar, as seen my Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon. So could Xerneas and Yveltal be tapping into a similar light energy? Following from that, could Zygarde, protector of the ecosystem, have noticed all these eternatus/disc/necrozma shenanigans? We do see zyarde in alola and galar, and it seems like zygarde could show up in paldea DLC
i had already deduced that the disk pokemon was converting preexisting pokemon into paradox forms, but CONNECTING THAT WITH NECROZMA AND ETERNATUS? sir you are incredible and amazing and i will never unsub
I remember catching necrozma in sun and moon and wondering “for what purpose” and only learning more In the following games so I hope we get this lore in the dlc
I like how the Pokémon gimmicks are becoming parts of strong Pokémon. I mean I find it interesting as the fact that dynamax was remembers of the power and safe for terastalization just being replying on the crystal. I mean imagine the 3 ones we’ve had so far trying to destroy the entire earth. Maybe the combine so it’s eternamax etrabatus bring terastalized and has some necrozma fusion. I mean eternatus can probably destroy any building like Independence Day but imagine with the extra power. I just find it interesting how strong they have gotten.
5:00 That specific page of the Book actually reminds me of a Pokemon's Stat page, which displays the stats in a hexagonal graph similar to the one in the book. I wonder if they're tied together...
@Roize Rasen Ultra Necrozma has space manipulation (Just like palkia) Eternamax Eternatus distorts time-space according to pokedex entry(Just like giratina) This disc pokemon has time manipulation(Just like dialga) Do you think they are creation trio from other dimension/timeline or they are fallen creations of arceus(Like fallen angels)?
There is a really interesting theory that might help you tie this three together, it's called “Proyecto arceus” a trilogy of videos by Sir Gary, the bad part is that it's in Spanish but I think it might help you Awesome video!
@@Kahadi nope, “proyecto arceus” is a trilogy where he talks not only about the alchemical connections but also about how eternatus and necrozma might be fallen titans and how they link to the arceus plates, the relationship with the mythology etc.
Pretty interesting video and the first time ive seen a theory on this mon bringing up espathra and its especially interesting to watch this after hearing the birdkeepertoby and espy juju theory vids, I wonder if things could be connected in these theories
The disc Pokemon is going to be reveald by showing that the Pokemon world is actually flat and carried by 4 giant Copperajah which in turn are carried on the back of the great turtle A'tuin, the disc-pokemon.
It's a shame part 2 isn't out already but I really enjoyed watching this video. I feel if the 3rd legendary didn't create the paradox pokemon it would ruin the story. I love the "Creation through means of projection" theory tho, it makes sense once you connect all 3 generations and since we don't have access to the full legendary trio in Paldea yet, the 3rd legendaries mystery might tie everything together as originating from the same place. Anyway loved the video, subscribed and looking forward to part 2 🙏
Creation through means of projection would explain one of the big paradoxes of Scarlet/Violet. When Heath (the author of the Scarlet/Violet book) was researching Area Zero, he encountered paradox Pokemon and tried to illustrate them. yet, based on the games lore, Paradox Pokemon didn't appear in Area Zero until the Professor(s) used the time machine. So how could the paradox mons exist during Heath's time in Area Zero, but not during current time? Of course I could be missing a detail from a random bit of lore in the game too that would explain this. but It's my understand that this is, currently, a standing paradox within the games.
@@YukinoToki So far, there's gaps in between the SV story (mainly to do with area zero and the paradox phenomenon) so if the DLC fills in those gaps then we can have more of an understanding about what the Paradox Pokemon actually are (whether they're actually from the past/future). For all we know the 3rd legendary could have abilities to do with influencing others to do what it wants or implant things into ones mind. Heath and the professor(s) surpossidly made decisions that they wouldn't usually make, the AI professor(s) couldn't even comprehend why the real professor(s) made the "time machine" or locked it down so securely in the first place. My guess is the 3rd planted those images of the respective games "paradox pokemon" into Heaths mind, he draws them and documents them, 200 years pass and young Sada/Turo are fascinated by them, later in life explore area zero, don't see the "paradox pokemon" and then build the "time machine". The 3rd legendary could've influenced the professor(s) to make sure the time machine would never stop running and it could've been able to see into the future and planned out the entire story of events. But ofc I don't know for sure, I am reaching and guessing a little bit here but who knows. I do strongly believe that the 3rd legendary created the paradox pokemon but everything else is my speculation. Edit: To add ontop of the part about the "time machine", the inside (when it opens up) does look very similar to an ultra wormhole connecting to the theory in the video. The 3rd legendary could manifest the "paradox pokemon" in ultra space and then through the professor(s) "time machine" bring them through into reality.
Bro you can't just make a video like this with one other on your channel and leave it in a cliffhanger, now I've gotta subscribe to see part two Also interested to see if PLA could play into this at all, I don't believe it exactly would, as it didn't Introduce any new big pokemon, but the red sky and the red chain used to control/calm Dialga/Palkia might also have some connection. Oh yeah and also the whole 'whoops guess a wormhole is gonna appear in the sky and cause distortions in space and time' thing
I'm so down with this. I LOVE legendaries and their lore, and these 3 connecting is perfect, and really cool twist to the third legendaries for these recent games.
This also slightly happens in pokemon go raids, when you challenge a pokemon in a raid, they have visible radiant energy flowing around them and it's quite obvious their size almost triples compared to their original size, and when defeated, they revert to their normal size
Ever since the ruins of alph in johto, I've been hoping for some real mysterious and creepy pokemon lore. I believe nintendo is on the right track, but I hope they can do even better in newer games.
I really want to believe that this is part of a legit conspiracy GF is building and not just them having one singular brain cell for lore writing lmao.
Very genuinely impressed. Always figured Eternatus was an Ultra Beast myself and the 'Paradox' Pokemom have never just fit into time travel with me, especially SandyShocks & Roaring Moon as their counterparts lore completely contradict their existence. Looking forward to the next video and I am subscribing friend =)
The detail everybody ignores about the Magnemite//Sandy Shocks relationship is that you can find Wild Magnezone throughout the Coronet Highlands in Hisui. Magnemite and Beldum are quite similar, where they Evolve when combining multiple times to create their Evolved Forms. 3 Magnemite is a Magneton, 2 Beldum is a Metang. When you subject a Magneton to strong electromagnetic forces//Thinder Stone (G8+), it fuses the individual Magnemites into a single organism, Magnezone. While 2 Metangs combining naturally become a Metagross. It could be the case that they're aliens.
Man. I really wish that SM/USUM werent didnt run so terribly so i actually could have played them back when they were new, cause honestly the Ultra beasts and the wormholes were always so fucking cool
I play Pokémon to find my treasure. But my autism hyper fixated on any and all lore (I love Matpat). Thanks to videos like this one I’m getting into the Pokémon lore, and I very well might end up playing old games to get a better grip on the story. Loved the video, thank you very much
Here after dlc announcement. The theory of your disk pokemon holds even more true with the fact the Indigo disk legendaries design resembles a meteor. Also every spot shown in the Eternatus battle is a power spot in game, showing they are all directly connected to Eternatus in some form.
So glad this got recommended to me only a couple hours after I finished the area zero section of the game. Looks like I missed some of those research station journals and forgot about going to history class... The fact all these things line up so well is insane, the practically inevitable dlc sounds like it's gonna be amazing for lore fans
really excited at the prospect that the heavy crossovers in themes and abilities of the last 3 generation's legendaries as a purpose and isnt just lazy writing
i believe it creates your dreams. it relates to the theming of "finding your treasure" perhaps heath in violet had an obsession with the future, and the disk pokemon lures you in to a sort of... deal, in a way, by tempting you with what you want to see. but it cant do much without someones help, someone making a machine to help its power... and then in violet, turo gets obsessed with these fantastical stories from area zero, reading the book constantly... and then. goes there. and they arent there. but studies the crystals and the disk pokemon, and with Big Brain Power makes the machine, which lets him get his childlike dream... of pokemon of the future. which pose a threat, as the AI version of the prof says. if they were to leave the garden, they could Ruin The Ecosystem(TM) hmmMMM sounds familiar i think its a dream creature that makes whatever you imagine come true, in a way. heck, bet its magenta. because magenta isnt a "real color" on the light spectrum, between scarlet and violet... and hey, big turtle serpent shell thing? and its magenta maybe? ENAMORUS CONFIRMED-
The worst thing about this video is that it gets us hyped for something that most probably won't be realized in any Pokemon game ever... That being said, holy shit dude, this video is insane! Good theorycrafting, good transitions, and excellent narration!
Ok so i think i have an idea over here 15:10, so what i think is that the disk pokemon actually took present time pokemon to the future and to the past, so like scream tail was maybe mistakenly taken to the past by the disk pokemon and evolved over time OR another thing that could have happened ( this is a very big stretch ) but maybe the ultrawarm hole can take pokemon or people to the past or the future, maybe the disk pokemon has time traveling powers idk
Something to note about Paradox pokemon. Paradoxes come in several verities. First is predestination paradoxs which are set events caused in the past by future parties( for example Star Trek Animated series episode Amok Time) and the self fulfilling prophecy( like the Shadow war and Babylon 4 in the show Babylon 5). With the Terrestral phenomenon it seems like the energies allow drastic and to use a term in Star Trek long temporal distance of the pokemon. As the Terristal phenomenon allows pokemon to either gain a new typing to refract damage ( Grass gym Psuedowoodo to Truedowoodo) or to amplify it ( like getting an X8 damage boost using Terrastilization to stab bonus in battle). I think the phenomenon allows something similar through time. What does have me concerned about is how much of the self fulfilling prophecy did Sada and Turo make with the use of Terrastilization for time travel as one of the effects is Heath's expedition seeing past and future pokemon. Now I'm wondering how the three Tauist pokemon of the Black and White games are effected by this as they are not only based on the three essentials of alchemy as well as Tauist philosophy. Also like Nekrozma the Origin dragon came from space and is the only pokemon known to be able to separate and recombine 3 completely different pokemon.
Homeworld relationship: Arceus - creator (center of the universe) Created energy pokemons (god's right hand) - hand (eternatus), legs (ultra necrozma), body/shell (terapagos) Aliens / extraterritoral (eternatus, deoxys, jirachi) - somewhere from the universe Palkia - space Extradimensional (hoopa, Darkrai) - somewhere in space & other dimensions & dream world Ultra wormhole (ultra beast) - beyond space Dialga - time Time Travelers (unown, celebi) - time dimension & unown world Area zero (paradox) - beyond time Giratina - Distortion world What's next ?? Non-Hisui native pokemons (magnemite) - space time distortion
I have a theory, In legend arceus starters are from gen 2, 5 & 7. so what if we got alpha sapphire and Omega ruby for gen 6 mega evolution treatment in other gens too. Like unova getting gen 9 terastal phenomenon and johto getting dynamax and alola getting porting to switch. So if you count that we can get all 4 gimmicks on switch before they going to new model for an switch replacement. It would be great. Gimmicks so far... Gen 1 - mega evolution (let's go P&E) Gen 2 - dynamax / terastal phenomenon (upcoming game) Gen 3 - mega evolution (AS&OR) & primal reversion (As&Or) Gen 4 - frienzied Pokemon (legend Arceus) & origin form (LA) Gen 5 - terastal phenomenon (upcoming game) Gen 6 - mega evolution (xy) Gen 7 - z-moves (sm) and special z-moves (usum) & mega evolution (sm & usum) & bond phenomenon (usum) Gen 8 - dynamax and gigantamax (Sw&Sh) & blue dynamax (dlc) Gen 9 - terastal phenomenon (sv) & tera form (dic). Since mega evolution entered 4 regions, we are expected to see terastal phenomenon in 3 regions too. Only z-move and dynamax were exclusive to their regions at this point. So here our switch games launch theory ends... (Opens another theory😉) Eternatus is scared of rayquaza is the reason, it is afraid to leave the galar. Does dynamax energy only exist in that region. Because the energy leaked from eternatus created dynamax. Light trios ultrawormhole is only wide open in alola (like aliens only visit America) is the reason why z-moves exist only in that region. Because the energy leaked from ultrabeast created z-moves. So here our alien theory ends.... (Looking for more theory😂) Mega evolution was created by az ultimate weapon in the middle of war between kalos (france) and paldea (Spain). The ultimate weapon launched destruction to sky brought back two energies. One was the place which was hit directly (no Pokemon or people survices except people saved by terapagos) and leaves only crystal (terastal) & the other was the place which got affected by radiation of hit (little away from blast distances) which leaves the Pokemon to die and souls stored in mega stones. (We seen the Pokemon turned into crystals on Pokemon xy cutscenes). (This is Pokemon franchise we are talking this we always get trio treatment so does next theory which continues the last one) The energy which reached the sky somehow settled in sky does attract more aliens including eternamax (remember our 1st theory), deoxys, and ultra beast. Or else they could be no reason for they emerges in different regions (since sky has no boundary). (Here is why 4 regions have mega evolution) Then we know why heonn got mega evolution because the Meteoroid brought it which is the az ultimate weapons strike the sky somehow stored on asteroid belt between Pokemon earth and moon then asteroids absorbs one another and does contain massive mega energy while enter atmosphere which awakens primal reversion. The little energy stored on atmosphere is the reason the Pokemon that wanders the atmosphere got mega evolution on its own. Remember mega rayquaza 😉. Later the Merchant brought mega stones to the kanto and alola. Here ends our mega evolution migration theory. Plus people who want to know difference between mega evolution, primal reversion and battle bond phenomenon. -Mega evolution is the energy stored in mega stones which has impact radiation and life energy of death Pokemon does the Pokemon uses the mega stone evolve futher into 4th stage. -Primal reversion is the forgotten origin form of ancient Pokemon which has given the duty of creating the world. (Recall primal dialga😂). -bond phenomenon is the aura of trainer (bonded &) transferred into Pokemon thus it reaches new evolution (just a nugget of mega evolution and pseudo z-moves concept without any moves😂) Why only certain Pokemon of certain species can achieve gigantamax, still doesn't answered? But we know the catylex can absorb the energy and release it as its own energy is the reason for blue dynamax. Catylex can, which other mons can't 😂. Z-moves and z-crystal exist because of beast energy around alola. But why only few has special z-moves because they are the choosen ones by the alola guardian just like they did with ash Pikachu. G9 - Titan Pokemons eats herbs from Tera crystal farms does fuels Tera energy in them. G7 - totem pokemons absorbs the ultabeast energy leaking through ultra wormholes. G4- Frienzied (Noble) Pokemon got energy from timespace rift and Arceus plate. G4 - alphas are regular leader of species guards territory. Question here is why gmax are they going to we the last survivors of every species (during upcoming darkest day / doomsday), is that the reason why only specific they can transform?! We still don't know about kanto war (which clearly happened in lucario movie was between kanto johto heoon hisui), we might guess in legends timeline the kanto johto is one region just like gen 2 games and it's kanto johto which earses the hisui name of the map during war was the reason why we was transferred to that timeline because Arceus (the content creators) wants us to witness it. The subway trainer in PLA was transferred from unova during the meddling with timemachine's copy in upcoming game in unova region which opens us to use terastal phenomenon in unova game. Now we know why nest unova reference. But why johto ?? Is the timetravel in unova and war arc from kanto johto was going to happen is that why constant Easter eggs.... So we guess the nest game was legends johto and Omega/Ruby unova (continuous story of Tera crystal on unova) or let's go unova (merchant brought Tera orb to unova). We still don't know why Pokemon from hisui still alive in modern era thus the another timemachine copy was ready in sinnoh or Arceus traded our trainer by the hisuian Pokemon 😂 or it's the terapagos with the Lucius the great ancient adventurer during his world travel who brought them to their limbo (timeless place) then releases it wild by heath during their Pokemon sv timeline?? That's all folks...👋
The weird triangle thing in Area Zero HAS to be related to Necrozma. I noticed it sort of resembles the number 800 and the 800th Pokémon IS NECROZMA idk might be a coincidence but COME ON
the paradox pokemon are a thing i figured out quite quickly. as some indeed dont make sense (prime example paradox suicune being a fusion of the 3 beasts, while the 3 were never 1 creature) also the word paradox itself implies that they are not what they look like
It's already revealed in the DLC which is now and it's stellar form represeants A planet from space (According to the dex entry) not much about it but it's probably linked to Arceus. That's all I know, for now.
To add one more glowing crystal legendary dragon that came from a meteorite, whose parts of the body were split - original dragon from BW, that split into pure spiritual goals (truth and ideals) and crystalline leftover husk, Kyurem. Interesting as we can’t see the full form of that dragon, as we can’t see full form of Necrozma (missing parts replaced/filled with light in the form of Ultra Necrozma) and Eternatus (An incomplete skeleton with missing parts filled with its raw power).
Holy COW. Amazingly eloquently explained! I will most assuredly be back for part 2 and more :D Thank you so much for your hard work sharing this amazing theory!
bro, when you said feathered serpent I straight up yelled out, "Quetzalcoatl!" and then you confirmed it and I got even more excited. I love mythology so much
This video is so good, it's honestly re-energised my love for Pokémon again post SV, plus even if it doesn't come to fruition in the canon lore, I think this analysis is really good and valid, and a great deconstruction of how the Pokémon company manage to essentially recreate the same lore for each gimmick in some way (not a bad thing at all, just interesting)
You know, that you put this like this When you think about it, up to Gen 4 the Pokemon that were introduced were tied into the natural order of the world - land and sea, sky etc. Which topped off with space time and the literal creator of Pokemon Then we changed to ethics then we went to, idk Funny crystals that make Pokemon stronger with strange interestingly similar properties HRM - I wonder if Game Freak is building up to yet another group of Penultimate Pokemon with control over another aspect of the Pokemon World - perhaps their more mystical abilities or even evolution?

Great theory
There are 2 other theorys that fit with yours that explain the paradox pokemon 1 is that the disk pokemon is making the paradox pokemon and not taking them from the past/future so instead of iron treads and great tusk being from the past and future they are donphans from the present that the disk pokemon changed. The 2nd fits your theory better it is that the paradox pokemon and from other worlds like ultra beasts but are similar to pokemon found here like the galar birds and the time machine is actually a ultra wormhole generator linking our earth to a different world that is more primal or futuristic.
this is spectacular!!! keep up the good work!!!!
The italian pokemon community has been onto this for YEARS
Other meteor dragons might be kyurem and zygarde
It’s getting very concerning that all three of the last gimmicks have all been effectively chunks of an extra-terrestrial god.
Youre not wrong, Pokemon HAS been getting a little lovecrafty...
Exodia coming in xD
What in the name of Z-Arc are you talking about?
ULTRA NECROZMA IS GOD ! 💪🏽😎🌟
I actually really like the idea of an unofficial trio with ultra necrozma, gigantamax eternatus and what ever boost gimick the 3rd legendary has.
What if it's "true tarastylization" where it's all types
@@themegayoutuber so arceus without his omni plate
Not even gigantamax, eternatus gets its own version called eternamax, which is even scarier tbh
@@levievil9220 ...huh

I always felt Eternatus was in some way related to Necrozma. When I first saw I thought it looked like an ultra beast. And the parallel with “The Darkest Day” and “Light that burns the sky” just seemed fitting
So much about Eternatus screams Ultra Beast. The design, the faint jingle it has at the end of its cry that is very similar to other Ultra Beasts, and its space and dimensional warping capabilities. There’s no way its not connected.
@@Forged4War206 I think the dude who designed eternatus has also designed other ultra beasts
Wait, has anyone noticed that the disc itself resembles a mega stone?
They even look angular
Guzzlord also heavily and INTENTIONALLY resembles Zygarde (complete)... what are you doing gf
WHOA. I'm convinced! Looking forward to part 2!!
Hey! It’s you! Love your work, and I’m looking forward to your next!
Wow didn't expect you to be here.
Hey terminal, you mind making more pokemon content? Thanks!
High good animater that likes lores
What is my mentor doing here?
Also noticed that kalos’ ultimate weapon (and the one giant red crystal of that city in XY) looks like it’s made from the same material as the crystals, it would explain the reason why AZ is abnormally huge (as he was the one who fired it) and why he and his flabebe have lived for a ridiculous amount of time. Not to mention Zygarde’s hexagon motif and his alien-like features
And notice how AZ's Floette is called the "Eternal Flower" Floette, and the flower's color scheme resembles Eternatus, further connecting all of this.
Was Zygarde the fallout result of the ultimate weapon?
Also explains how the weapon could split this reality into two different dimensions (one where mega evolution exists and one where it doesn't).
Furthermore, Mega evolution is referenced by the past forms of Salamance, and if we are to believe that they are from another reality, could that mean that mega evolution is not evolution, but instead your pokemon fusing with the variant form, taking the strengths of both pokemon. It would be interesting if that were true.
@@anthonystrangio Light of Ruin looks like a weaker version of Eternatus' signature moves too.
Maybe its deoxys core since its from outer space as well
@@pietropellizzaro8224 deoxys I think is less likely to be related since it is a virus and is able to replicate itself through using its DNA/RNA and which does somewhat reflect a virus who mainly contains RNA which instructs cells to make more of it.
Finally, someone else who realizes that the bunch of glowing space meteor dragons that make other pokemon stronger are tied together

My personal hypothesis is that they are the "defeated giants" that the Arceus plates speak of
@@zoroearc2582 I thought it was referencing the regis ngl
Either that, or Game Freak just cannot come up with any new ideas so they have rehashed the same concept three times already and they have nothing in common in reality. And the sad thing is, it is most likely what I said, as a cross regional story with three different main legendaries is very unlikely
@@Chronostra the regis were constructed by regigigas
I have had a theory about this. My thoughts are that it's all the same energy, but applied in different forms.
D-max: acts like a mech around the pokemon
Z-crystals: makes a field around the pokemon that amplifies its moves
Mega Evolution: mimics the energies that cause evolution to hold it in a more powerful state
Terastalize: condenses into a solid shell around the pokemon, and feeds it energy
mega evolution had those shells too with light pouring out
Mega evolutions came from Aura trio so i think it doesn't do anything with Z-moves, dmax/gmax, and terrastal.
Z-Moves Releases
Dmax/Gmax Holds
Tera Condenses
even applies to how long they last in game turns.
@depressedcatto4476 what about mega evolution then.
I feel like Glimmora is connected to the disk Pokémon. The same way Carbink and Diancie are connected to the mega crystals and the ultimate weapon.
Not to mention that terablast can be created from glimmora's dropped item.
Cthulhu pokemon confirmed
That being said, however, its not impossible to be a double reference, they have done that before
it feels like a stretch calling it a double reference. Specially since Nacly and Naclstack don't end with the cl.
@@bsw9879 it was such a dumb retcon to make considering that megas only stuck around for a few years. They need to bring them back
@@slantedhorizon1021 well, you don't fall through an ultra wormhole, rather it appears to be literally a rip in space and time
I have a theory:
As you mentioned, the pokedex entries for the galarian birds pretty much implies very clearly that the galarian birds aren´t the original three legendary birds that we all know from Kanto.
But given this information it brings the question: What are the galarian legendary birds then?
And I have a theory about it, but first, a bit of context:
You know how Ho-oh turned three pokemon that died in a fire into the legendary beasts?
Let´s analyze what we know about the first darkest day to begin with:
Zacian’s Crowned Sword entry from Pokémon Shield says : “Able to cut down anything with a single strike, it became known as the Fairy King’s Sword, and it inspired awe in friend or foe alike.”
Zamazenta’s Crowned Shield entry from Pokémon Sword: “Its ability to deflect any attack led to it being known as the Fighting Master’s Shield. It was feared and respected by all.”
Who are the fairy king and the fighting master that Zacian and Zamazenta helped in the past (most likely againts Eternatus during the first darkest day)?
It´s widely believed that these dex entries are referring to Calyrex as the fairy king (while not fairy type itself it´s highly inspired by Oberon, the king of fairies from medieval literature and to king Arthur) and Urshifu, of course, as the fighting master.
Why this is important as potential evidence that could back up the possibility of these mutations happening in three regular flying type pokemon?
My theory is that when these three regular birds mutated into legendaries during the first darkest day as a result of Eternatus energy, they also gained the types of the pokemon that were fighting againts Eternatus due to their proximity to them:
The bird pokemon that got Calyrex psychic powers became Galarian Articuno and the other ones took the dark and fighting type from urshifu respectively turning themselves into Galarian Moltres and Galarian Zapdos.
@@grydon6422 pidgeotto: galarian articuno
Dodrio: galarian zapdos
Fearow: moltres
id say that the galarian birds can be paradox from other dimension
@@grydon6422
No, It doesn't. Why do you say that?
They just took similar appearances. They aren't exact copies of them. They mutated into the form of some of the (lore wise) most powerful kind of flying type pokemon.
And it's a mutation, not them getting revived like with the legendary beasts.
They confirmed that it wasn’t those eeveelutions who got turned into the legendary cats
The sum of truth and ideals being a dream..? Interesting.
I wonder if zygarde is kinda like a the Weapons of final fantasy 7. Cause I'm still not sure why the fuck he has some power ranger megazord form
@@aricente
To my understanding, the weapons and Zygarde are a great comparison.
@@Kahadi So around the time of Hisui?
@@Kahadi great point, but they never said anything about the weapon being tied to the crater.
Bro I just noticed this ties in with AZ’s abnormally tall height, if he was involved in building the weapon out of the cristals that would explain why he’s so huge and why he and his flabebe have been alive for so long
Also, the ultimate weapon has the shape of a six pointed star, which is the symbol of terastalizing
I wonder if Hoopa's ability to open wormholes to pluck other pokemon from their homes is also something to consider OR if it's before Gamefreak decided to make some overarching lore.
Could be both. What's more concerning is it's ability to just pull the 3 deities of space, time, & antimatter & completely control them
Another thing that doesn’t add up about the paradox Pokémon is that they were supposedly inside the crater well before Sada / Turo even built the time machine, as Heath describes them in the Expedition journal.
So like Hisuian Avalugg?
No , Zygarde Has NOTHING On Eternatus & Ultra Necrozma ! 😏
Zygarde has no way of transportation like time travel or ultra worm holes, as well as no ability to project or create an illusion i think
@@Alepeople He Doesn’t , You Are Correct💯
Bro "finna bout to" is redundant, you're saying "going to about to"
Listening to the list of traits you mention, I cannot help but think of Deoxys as well.
I didn't even know about the disk pokemon in the first place '' How did I miss that!
I really hope that Ultra Beast lore makes some sort of return. I never really noticed these connections and it’s super cool!
I’d like to note that gen 6 to 9 has introduced a lot of ideas about alternate universes, how to be transported tot hen, how things are transported from them and potentially how they are created, which is a kinda weird underlying theme that connects those games together.
The sundial in Anistar City better have the correlation with the light energy as well. It's one of the earliest introduction of these crystal power.
You can watch it but keep in mind subtitles may mess up
this is a really cool theory, it would be sick if they planned for gen 7, 8 and 9 to have their gimmicks connected in the lore.
Or end up joining them, itself.
I never really considered all thia and you sir nailed it, this was an awesome watch, thank you
This has been the most convincing explanation of the disk Pokémon and the past few years of Pokémon ive seen in years.
You could also go between kanto and jhoto in gold and silver, but point from above still stands.
@@TornaitSuperBird they got their wish then
some things i want to point out that could add to this theory - firstly the “paradox pokemon are from a different time period which isnt similar to ultra space” is easily fixed because of the existence of places like the ultra ruins, which are literally just hauoli city from a different timeline
also another important note - the pokedex entries for past paradoxes in violet and future paradoxes in scarlet should be taken with a massive grain of salt. in their own game they are described as “oh hey this looks like that thing from the violet/scarlet book”, but when in the opposite game, it always makes a note of mentioning “hey this looks like this thing that was mentioned in a dubious paranormal magazine”. the thing a lot of people are missing is that its literally meant to be an occult conspiracy tabloid magazine and its just a matter of what version you’re playing that makes the “bigfoot is real!!!!” type stories true or false in said magazine or
As the player, I felt constantly questioned about the existence of the paradox pokemon for the reasons explained in the video.
I hope that this can help you :)
P.s. sorry for my bad english
This is such a underrated video, I wish you with the best of luck to become famous like a Pokémon game theory
This just makes me hope for a universe soft reset where all the universes converge back together
The gigants that once battled the original being are coming back from their slumber, and we are only seeing the fraction of them
Nice to see these theories and kind of content starting in English (BTW Italians figured it out a while ago somehow...

We do see zyarde in alola and galar, and it seems like zygarde could show up in paldea DLC
this is such a cool concept and something i had thought of before but never had words for! thanks for making such a concise video about it!
Wow, looking back..this is amazing ! Terapagos actually had more of a hegemony on all these pokemon.
And the disk Pokemon is a cute, flat, thicc and skrunkle boi!!

Bro you can't just make a video like this with one other on your channel and leave it in a cliffhanger, now I've gotta subscribe to see part two
Also interested to see if PLA could play into this at all, I don't believe it exactly would, as it didn't Introduce any new big pokemon, but the red sky and the red chain used to control/calm Dialga/Palkia might also have some connection. Oh yeah and also the whole 'whoops guess a wormhole is gonna appear in the sky and cause distortions in space and time' thing
red chain also happens to be made of little hexagons
Hey! Great video! You seem like a person who would like "The Last of Us" episode 3!
The way Koraidon just flaps his feet to swim is so cute
Yeah i like it more than the other one 😂❤
Man. I really wish that SM/USUM werent didnt run so terribly so i actually could have played them back when they were new, cause honestly the Ultra beasts and the wormholes were always so fucking cool
They Didn’t Run Terribly & Ultra Necrozma Is GOD ! 💪🏽🌟
They were a bit laggy on the OG 3ds, but on the new 3ds they ran fine. I still play ultra sun almost weekly, and it runs pretty smooth
@@melvondrewhite2674 nah hes just a pokemon
@@Andrew-ch3xj Yes Ultra Necrozma The GOD OF POKÉMON ! 💪🏽😛
So true lol
It’s a turtle
i believe it creates your dreams. it relates to the theming of "finding your treasure"
perhaps heath in violet had an obsession with the future, and the disk pokemon lures you in to a sort of... deal, in a way, by tempting you with what you want to see. but it cant do much without someones help, someone making a machine to help its power...
and then in violet, turo gets obsessed with these fantastical stories from area zero, reading the book constantly...
and then. goes there. and they arent there. but studies the crystals and the disk pokemon, and with Big Brain Power makes the machine, which lets him get his childlike dream... of pokemon of the future. which pose a threat, as the AI version of the prof says. if they were to leave the garden, they could Ruin The Ecosystem(TM) hmmMMM sounds familiar
i think its a dream creature that makes whatever you imagine come true, in a way. heck, bet its magenta. because magenta isnt a "real color" on the light spectrum, between scarlet and violet...
and hey, big turtle serpent shell thing? and its magenta maybe?
Homeworld relationship:
Arceus - creator (center of the universe)
Created energy pokemons (god's right hand) - hand (eternatus), legs (ultra necrozma), body/shell (terapagos)
Aliens / extraterritoral (eternatus, deoxys, jirachi) - somewhere from the universe
Palkia - space
Extradimensional (hoopa, Darkrai) - somewhere in space & other dimensions & dream world
Ultra wormhole (ultra beast) - beyond space
Dialga - time
Time Travelers (unown, celebi) - time dimension & unown world
Area zero (paradox) - beyond time
Giratina - Distortion world
What's next ??
Non-Hisui native pokemons (magnemite) - space time distortion
I have a theory, In legend arceus starters are from gen 2, 5 & 7.
so what if we got alpha sapphire and Omega ruby for gen 6 mega evolution treatment in other gens too.
Like unova getting gen 9 terastal phenomenon and johto getting dynamax and alola getting porting to switch.
So if you count that we can get all 4 gimmicks on switch before they going to new model for an switch replacement. It would be great.
Gimmicks so far...
Gen 1 - mega evolution (let's go P&E)
Gen 2 - dynamax / terastal phenomenon (upcoming game)
Gen 3 - mega evolution (AS&OR) & primal reversion (As&Or)
Gen 4 - frienzied Pokemon (legend Arceus) & origin form (LA)
Gen 5 - terastal phenomenon (upcoming game)
Gen 6 - mega evolution (xy)
Gen 7 - z-moves (sm) and special z-moves (usum) & mega evolution (sm & usum) & bond phenomenon (usum)
Gen 8 - dynamax and gigantamax (Sw&Sh) & blue dynamax (dlc)
Gen 9 - terastal phenomenon (sv) & tera form (dic).
Since mega evolution entered 4 regions, we are expected to see terastal phenomenon in 3 regions too.
Only z-move and dynamax were exclusive to their regions at this point.
So here our switch games launch theory ends...
(Opens another theory😉)
Eternatus is scared of rayquaza is the reason, it is afraid to leave the galar.
(Looking for more theory😂)
Mega evolution was created by az ultimate weapon in the middle of war between kalos (france) and paldea (Spain).
(This is Pokemon franchise we are talking this we always get trio treatment so does next theory which continues the last one)
The energy which reached the sky somehow settled in sky does attract more aliens including eternamax (remember our 1st theory), deoxys, and ultra beast. Or else they could be no reason for they emerges in different regions (since sky has no boundary).
(Here is why 4 regions have mega evolution)
Then we know why heonn got mega evolution because the Meteoroid brought it which is the az ultimate weapons strike the sky somehow stored on asteroid belt between Pokemon earth and moon then asteroids absorbs one another and does contain massive mega energy while enter atmosphere which awakens primal reversion.
-bond phenomenon is the aura of trainer (bonded &) transferred into Pokemon thus it reaches new evolution (just a nugget of mega evolution and pseudo z-moves concept without any moves😂)
Why only certain Pokemon of certain species can achieve gigantamax, still doesn't answered?
I noticed it sort of resembles the number 800 and the 800th Pokémon IS NECROZMA
idk might be a coincidence but COME ON
this is really something great, your production value and effort put into this is impressive, especially for only your second video! great work🔥🔥🔥
the paradox pokemon are a thing i figured out quite quickly. as some indeed dont make sense (prime example paradox suicune being a fusion of the 3 beasts, while the 3 were never 1 creature)
also the word paradox itself implies that they are not what they look like
Comment for algorithm
also, I really enjoyed everything about this video, from the concept to the flow of it all. very well put together.
It's already revealed in the DLC which is now and it's stellar form represeants A planet from space (According to the dex entry) not much about it but it's probably linked to Arceus.
That's all I know, for now.
Yooo this video is sick! Amazing job, I loved to watch it, and loved the connections through all these games
This was incredibly well edited and very compelling! Can't wait for Part 2!
I love mythology so much
Guess what? I just realized that the crown on the disk Pokémon looks like the crown like thing on eternamax eternatus’s back. I’ve solved it
This video is so good, it's honestly re-energised my love for Pokémon again post SV, plus even if it doesn't come to fruition in the canon lore, I think this analysis is really good and valid, and a great deconstruction of how the Pokémon company manage to essentially recreate the same lore for each gimmick in some way (not a bad thing at all, just interesting)
You know, that you put this like this
When you think about it, up to Gen 4 the Pokemon that were introduced were tied into the natural order of the world - land and sea, sky etc. Which topped off with space time and the literal creator of Pokemon
Then we changed to ethics
then we went to, idk
Funny crystals that make Pokemon stronger with strange interestingly similar properties
HRM - I wonder if Game Freak is building up to yet another group of Penultimate Pokemon with control over another aspect of the Pokemon World - perhaps their more mystical abilities or even evolution?
