Diablo 2 ladder reset? Day 1: I sold the farts out of my asshole for 500 forum gold. Bought best item in the game for 100 forum gold on day 2.
WoW Cata classic release? Farm cloth: Sells for 150g each. 2 days into expansion: Each cloth sells 1 gold each.
It's a silly idea to make a vid like that. This video is still relevant though as these items are still valuable, but its not gonna make you giga uber rich.

Last night I bought all the volatile water off the AH, sold it for a higher price.. made about 10k gold in max 1 hour. If you don't have an auctioning addon it's useless. I use Auctionator

Making gold in retail right now is hard! i cant make a shit of gold. Like mats are the only stuff that sell i make like 10k an hour wich is crap. xmog dont sell.
water has horrendous droprate from these, better off farming airs just west of there
This is the best spot to farm waters they have the highest drop chance and there are a lot of mobs here

Make sure you buy the potions. Or you won’t get chest, also you may get unluckyand kill 30-40 before one chest and then sometimes you can get 1 each kill it all is just a gamble . Thats why just pull a shit ton and camp you can be here and make maybe 100g just from the loot you sell at the vendor
And then sometimes rarely a rare to sell. It’ll work I promise !
