My taste buds really changed during pregnancy- you should do a comparison video with some of the choices you really liked when pregnant vs a few months after pregnancy- when you are closer to “normal”. Whatever that is!

As Tunnocks is a Scottish company, their tea cakes are how tea cakes are in Scotland. The English ones are more similar to hot cross buns. Sorry to be THAT person but I honestly wouldn’t have said anything if it wasn’t for the fact you specified England but as a Scot who moved to England as a twenty year old in the mid 90’s, the likes of Tunnocks and Irn Bru were rarities down here (depending on which area you are in and likely more available in larger areas) at that time.
i would just say tea cake when referring to a bready one but tunnocks tea cake when talking about the marshmallow ones lol people never seem to know what i’m talking about with the bread ones
@ as a vegetarian of well over thirty years, a toasted tea cake is something that I’ve been given for breakfast many times by some lovely people who were unsure what vegetarians eat.
I looove Tunnocks and grew up eating their caramel wafers in the 90s in England. I've also never heard a hot cross bun called a tea cake so it's all probably very regional

Confession - I accidentally stole a £20 tub of earl grey tea leaves from Fortnum and Masons once. I was browsing and picked two tubs up then changed my mind about one at the checkout so popped it down next to me. I paid for one and then the man at the checkout started chatting to me and while I was chatting I unthinkingly picked up both tubs of tea and walked out with them. I only realised what I'd done when I got home.
Tunnocks marshmallow isn’t made with animal gelatine, it’s vegetarian, whereas I’m guessing these are made with beef or pork gelatine. Tunnocks are the best!

Great video, Grace. I've loved the updates on Instagram. I've watched you since you were still a much younger you! Grace, meat does not reheat well in a microwave. It toughens it up. It would be best to place aluminium foil over the meat, and heat it in the oven on a metal baking tray. That way the pasty would get slightly crispy again. Recooking meat always makes it tough. Potatoes would be better in the air fryer or oven also. Give it another go one day when you can have it less "cooked". So glad to see you enjoyed fruit, cause you didn't used to love it, I don't think!
I’m from Texas USA and tea cakes are COMPLETELY different here lol they’re like a cakey shortbread. Idk how to describe it. There’s more of a southern thing here I believe. Yours looked so good. I’d love to try one like that!

Missed your videos! Glad to see you back. That being said, the only food I'm only ever jealous of are the panini's, high tea, and the pastries. Here in the States, specifically the southern most part of (commie) California, Mexican food is always divine and we are so blessed to have a melting pot of foods to try.
