I first heard of NF listening to TobyMac’s album’This is Not a Test’. NF is featured on the song’Til the day I die’. Saw NF in concert in 2018 on his Perception tour. It was a venue of 5,000 people and he was saying that it was his biggest show at that point. Been following NF since 2016 and turned my grandkids onto him. Love y’all’s hearts and reactions.
And look at him now, packed arena shows, and being able to double back and play similar locations twice. I saw him in Greensboro last year, going to see him again in Charlotte this year. Amazing progress.

Remember the song "All I Have" where NF is talking about Hip Hop scene and how he is not invited. There has been some great Christian rap but most of it had a strong Christian message. NF is different. He is not acting like he has it all together and his focus is not the gospel. He said he is not a Christian rapper, he is a Christian who happens to rap. You wouldn't call a plumber a Christian plumber? And the mainstream is evil so NF is going into the dark alleys and rescuing people, which is his calling.

Dc talk was a rap group that Toby was in when they came out on the 80s. I worked for a Christian hip hop label in 2006

Not sure if you know but NF does a song with Toby Mac called Till The day I die, Also does epiphany with Futuristic, and a song start over. They aren't on the albums so you can listen to them at anytime but they are worth a listen for sure. Especially Epiphany.
I have heard all those songs and yes we will definitely be listening to most of them! Start Over was one of my wife’s first interactions with NF before we started the channel!

Toby Mac was in a Christian Rap Group called DC talk. I listened to this group in the 90s and just like with NF, I heard from other Christians that they were of the devil. Me and my sister were almost suspended from our Christian school, because we went to the DC talk concert with a decon from our church and his daughter . Meghan, TobyMac was a part of a Christian Rap/Rock trio called DC Talk. Then Toby went Independent. So yes, Toby did rap some, but mostly sings. DC Talk came out in 1987

NF has said he has struggled with his Christianity throughout his life. I think he was kind of shunned by the Christian music scene after this album because his music is too dark. Therapy session should be next. ❤
Yeah that’s what I’ve heard as well, but I’m glad NF followed his calling to reach the outcasts of the world! Therapy session is next to release after I finish up our next Ren edit!
I wonder if this journey going to reach the somg NF did with Toby Mac so she can feel vindicated. And dont worry youre not alone before i found NF toby mac is the only person i thought of as Christian rap.
This is not for negativity but the lack of background music helped focus on y'alls conversations. Either way is OK, quiet is just better for my A.D.D 😉

Socialism is the same as communism which has been trying to infiltrate this country for the last century or so. In many ways it’s been a success on that infiltration with the ‘slow creep’ approach. We believe that the survival of this country depends on resisting that ideology that kills freedoms.

I don't think I can keep going with you guys... Your order is off. Also, he has made it VERY clear. He is a Christian... Also a rapper. Not one in the same. He is NOT a Christian rapper. Stop pushing your agenda. It's annoying.
No one is making you watch our videos and we don’t have a said agenda outside of exposing my wife to NF and at the same time helping us work through our own life stuff. Our order is going to be the order we do and our commentary is going up be what it is. We know very well he’s a rapper and also a Christian. You’re the one that seems to be off which is also annoying.

To each their own. I apologize if being so blunt was over the top. NF is a huge part of my life and I want people to experience him properly for him not me. That's all
I can appreciate that, but our journey may be different then others, and there seems to be a few different variations of NF’s journey. I understand that for several outcasts, there is a very specific order, we just can’t please everyone unfortunately.
As far as missing things, we aren’t going to be able to catch everything the first time through, just isn’t possible. If there are things we miss, the outcasts have been doing a great job of filling us in.
It’s not that you being blunt is over the top, it’s that you’re saying something (NF is a Christian and also a rapper) we’ve mentioned several times in our videos and are well aware. But as my wife and I both grew up in Christian households, each backslide for a season, and are now back in the faith, we can’t separate that from our videos. It’s just who we are.
