As always, these are just my thoughts/experiences regarding these bags and I’m publicizing to encourage dialogue. I know they are much loved in the handbag community. I love them too, they just get on my nerves too 🙊 Do you have any beloved handbags that annoy you?
I owned several of these bags and if something gets on my nerves pretty badly, then it has to go. No matter how cute it is. That’s my personal philosophy… I’m in a super huge funk with my Speedy B25, but I’ve also re-purchased it a couple times and I’ve been urged to just make it work. So I’m going to do that for once… Lol great video!
Great video! For me it’s the Alma BB. I was struggling with it for a bit but one day I went to grab my car keys in a parking lot and when I took my sunglasses out, everything fell out and I had a lip gloss roll under my car 😂 first world problems I know. I had to back the car up to grab my gloss and that was the last day I wore it, as beautiful as it was.
Have you tried using the plastic purse hangers? I use the ones from Seebrider. I use these for my longer straps that get curled during storage & even my Neverfuls that I have to fold the straps in to store them.
I only use my regular Tabby as a crossbody, the shoulder strap is way too short , but I’m keeping my Braided Ivory one , I just love the details on it 🤍🤍🤍
Not the next bag I want being first on the list😅!! I’ve heard those complaints before so I get it but they haven’t put me off the bag…yet. Maybe I’ll just have to learn the hard way. I’ve also heard the strap complaints about the Neverfull, I do love the pink interior though. Unfortunately I am not beyond being inconvenienced by bags yet, shoes totally. I don’t even own heels anymore 😂
Oops 😬 definitely wasn’t trying to deter you from the Alma BB, but you see I still have mine and have purchased it twice. It’s worth the minor inconveniences. I think the Neverfull will be making an exit. It’s a classic but that is not reason enough to keep it. Thank you for watching!
Sabrina do you think an organizer or bag shaper would address the YSL Camera bag issue by pushing the sides out a little more to make the top lay flat? That probably makes no sense. 😂 But that’s what I was thinking when you described the issue with the top. Great video. I think we all have issues with even our favorite bags but not enough to let them go or love them less.
I’d try anything at this point, Liz. What you said makes sense. I guess I’ve never gotten one because I have the base shaper but that does nothing for the top of the bag. Thank you for watching and suggesting that!
I was in a rush to buy a LV Speedy 35 thinking bigger was better not knowing about the bandolier option so got h regular speedy 35 DE in 2017 talked into the bigger size by a SA who said use for travel I don’t travel lol but I won’t get rid of it because she is so pretty

And so happy to see I’m not the only one who purchases the same bags in multiple sizes 😬😬😬 everyone I know makes me feel absolutely crazy for doing so 😭😭😭 I don’t own an LV bag yet but I’ve had my eye on just about all the ones you showed plus a few others! Not sure which one would be the perfect bag for my first big designer purchase ! I would definitely want it to be something I love and want to use everyday and keep forever for the price point! Anyway! Happy to be here 💕
Can totally relate--and no bag is perfect!!! But despite cons, some bags are just keepers! Those that come to mind include the Bandit shoulder and Idol bags! Too small for me, but love the look and quality! Thanks for sharing Sabrina!!!🥰🥰🥰
I’ve have heard other creators complain about those Alma styled bags. This has stopped me from purchasing these bags. But it’s so cute, Sabrina! I’ve heard others say that about the monogram speedy too. That’s why I don’t purchase bags with the short zippers either. But, it’s cute, Sabrina! The Graceful not giving hobo vibes would get on my nerves too. But it’s cute, Sabrina! I’ve also heard other creators complain about the Lou camera bags. But it’s cute, Sabrina! You found a solution to the tabby with the bag charm, but it’s cute, Sabrina. 😊
Hi Sabrina , yes the Neverfull straps are too short for sure , the bag annoys me for the very same reasons you mentioned. I have the regular monogram print - I rarely use it because of these very reasons
Hi Sabrina. In regards to the creases, idk how often u hv used it since you got it, but for me my speedys continued w the wrinkles, until i started using them. I used the damier ebene more than the damier azur, so ebene lost the wrinkles first. All i can say using it 1 day or 2 n not using it for weeks, might not do it. 🤷🏻♀️gl ❤
I’ll try that; it’s hard for me to stay in a bag consistently but I am tired of the wrinkles. I might switch into it for the latter half of the day today 😊. You almost had me getting the Anthracite Tabby today! I was watching your video earlier (but it was muted) and I couldn’t comment but it is gorgeous.
@ hi… yes i totally get that, i like to rotate my bags, try to use them all, so lately i cant wear any one bag as long as I did. Funny you said what would Alma be without a structure. Haha. Well, my Alma is completely without structure, it’s soft and slouchy and let me tell you, it’s just as annoying because it doesn’t keep its supposed shape when sitting on a shelf or not filled to the brim

i bought a DE wider strap for my alma bb from etsy seller coz i hated the thin strap from LV 😢 Mccraft from etsy sells straps that is very well made and is in matte
Great topic! There is always some bags in our collection that annoy us for a reason, but we still hold onto them. I have some leather bags that are too heavy for everyday, but I love them. I have a sturdy structured coated canvas bag which is heavier than some of my leather bags, but the design and colourway is the reason I have kept it. I have 2 bags that the top double handles are thin and do not fold down & always get in the way when trying to open the bag. Some bags do not open wide enough so you have to put your hand in to reach for an item, if you can't see it at first glance. All my bags are not the "perfect bag" as there is always something one bag has and another doesn't. Tfs ❤️👜
Sabrina, I think a steamer might get those wrinkles out of your Speedy. A great hack to maintain a camera bag's shape is to store it upside down. You can train your Graceful by positioning it the way you want it & hang it on a door knob. One more thing. I'm Italian ~ it's pronounced 'vaketta'.😘🌻

The white leather really annoys me!!! 😩 more than I thought it would. The trim gets dirty often.

@ it’s a big bag, only for certain occasions where you don’t carry it all day. I use it to go visit my mother in law or friends houses.
