As much as I respect him, he didn't understand Marxism. The only Indian revolutionary who did was *_Bhagat Singh._*
Well he did understand Marx , communism's utter failure across the world after 80 years of writing this by dr Ambedkar is the proof that he got it right .

And no, dr. Ambedkar didn't understand Marxism. He didn't even read Marx. He was heavily influenced by Deweyian pragmatism since he himself admitted that he owes all his teachings, his views, everything related to his intellectual and political life to John Dewey.
Dr. Ambedkar was taught about Marxism in that typical anti-communist manner of the Western world. He only got to know about it through secondary sources when he was studying in Columbia University and hence he had a very faulty understanding of it. Unlike Bhagat Singh, who actually made an effort (an honest one at that) to engage with the primary sources and as a result fully embraced Marxism-Leninism as his philosophy and political ideology till his last breath.

Firstly Marx failed to realise that the emergence of selective democratic by definition can't fit into communism . Marx him self has accepted that that they both can't co exist .
He did encourage violence as a means to throw out bourgeoisie out of power .
He justified it by having a better end .
Was Marx a fool ? No he was not he just couldn't see how badly communism will be a miss fit in the world rise of democracy . He him self did not live long enough to see even the early stages of his theory taking shape .
This is about theory , now in practice not even a single nation which is communist ever had a sustained economic model or Human rights or lack of violence .
Even now Cuba which is meant to be the poster boy of communists have failed in providing por choice economy and basic human rights like freedom of expression. Castor him self has admitted many times that control of press is very important of the opinion is anti communist . Marx him self had a rigidity in his theory which leans more towards totalitarianism . freedom with in communism means freedom is freedom untill it's not a critique against communism .
This has not only rule but a common pattern across all communist states in last century .
Marx belief that bourgeoisie can be thrown out of power positions by the means of violence has lead to mass murders like Stalin , mao , pol port , infact the kill count done by communists is far more than the total kill count of hiter and Islamic terrorist combined . You may say that's not communism , it's Maoism or be apologetic about justified version of Stalins mass murders etc . But they them self used the core principle of Marx that is use of violence as a justifiable means to throw out bourgeoisie.
Tho Lenin was not aass murder he too never been a critique of using violence as a means .
By the poster boy che was a rapist and a mysoganist too , by his own admission he killed people who disagreed with him and abused women . .
Except China not even a single communist country could sustain long term stable economy , and ya china could sustain it only after it became a hyper toxic totalitarian capitalism but not as a communist country , I hope you are not supporting china model for human rights .
Coming to your criticism of dr Ambedkar reading second hand version and bhagat Singh .
Before coming to Ambedkar let me clarify you that Bhagat Singh was not an economist or socialogist to take his opinions seriously over economy , nor he did not have even data in 1931 (the year which he died ) to see the rise and fall of communism . Bhagat Singh was a revolutionary with guts and great man in his own right , he has put country and nationalism over communism any day unlike our commusits who put commusim over nationalism .
Where as bheem Rao ji is an economist and also he studied law and he had his criticism from the point of socio economic understanding but not not from the point of view of revolutionary .
Finally your criticism regarding bheem Rao not reading directly is lie , he did read communist manifesto and das capital very deeply . His admision which you are talking is he admitimg that he did read other criticism of commusim before he coming to an opinion , he never said he did not read communist manifesto or das capital .

I'd suggest you read both Marx and Ambedkar and then see for yourself whether Ambedkar understood him or not. Also read Bhagat Singh and see for yourself whether he understood economics or not.
