This video by the technical wizard JedPossum shows the inner workings of the MvC2 dizzy system: ruclips.net/video/oaukRTkDAuo/видео.html The dizzy system isn't based on number of hits but rather the dizzy stun that each hit does. Light normals (LP and LK) do more stun than medium normals and medium normals do more stun than heavy normals. That's why infinites that only use LP (Ex. Storm Flying screen cr LP infinite) cause dizzy very quickly (~22 hits). Special attacks do not cause any dizzy stun. That's why Hulk's Gamma Charge infinite never causes dizzy since it is all special attacks. After a certain duration of time the dizzy counter resets (to 80 points). Typically Magneto's Rom infinite causes dizzy at 45-55 hits, but there was a time when I did a 62 hit Rom: ruclips.net/video/VRPQWxkpnwA/видео.html
I rarely ever refer to Magneto as Erik or Mr Lehnsherr in my commentary. I think I said Erik (or Mr. Lehnsherr) to refer to Magneto only 1 time in the commentary of this Grand Finals. I'm not sure how often you watch my content, but the way I most frequently refer to Magneto is Magfreetos. I often say Erik to refer to Smoothviper because he's a local player and we have known each other for years. Also, there are plenty of context clues in the commentary to differentiate between Erik meaning Smoothviper and Erik meaning Magneto. Plus, Smoothviper is the only player who played Magneto in the Grand Finals so at least there's no doubt about which player I was talking about.
I definitely don't keep my tournaments a secret lol I promoted Opening Burst 2024 a week in advance on my twitter: x.com/RomnetoN/status/1850983687195939002 I also posted announcements regarding the tournament on my youtube. For several years I frequently ran MvC2 tournaments on XBL (and I promoted them well in advance) and now that the re-release is out I am running tournaments on Steam (PC). I run MvC2 Tournaments nowadays through discord. I will be running Crack Til Dawn Online (CTDO) each month and the next one will be in late November. If you want to compete in my tournaments join the CTDO discord: discord.gg/HvpEQQfCDM I'm not sure where you been looking for MvC2 Tournaments but if you follow my channel you can't miss the announcements.
@Romneto The insane difference in how he played from beginning to end it's quite CLEAR to anyone watching what happened. He wasn't even trying in those later matches like he just didn't care at all was just truly having fun! It's all good but I had to ask......
@ensabahnur7657 - you say that it's clear but you're just expressing YOUR perspective. It's crucial to be aware that players can adapt and that's what Smoothviper did in this Grand Finals. Also, team matchups make a big difference and Smoothviper started this set with Team Row (not his best team) whereas Baby Missile played his best team (Thrax) the entire set. Smoothviper's best team is Scrub and although it took some time to get into a good flow, him switching to team Scrub was very effective and Baby Missile did not adapt effectively enough over the course of the Grand Finals.
Gotta love Romneto commentary, Smoothviper been on a major 🌊 this year
3 biscuits and 5 sauces...
also why they switch sides? is there any side glitch advantage like cvs2 2ndplayer?
No advantage. But i know for the collection you can only play 10 matches and it resets.
Is Baby Missile Tinh Ngo?
4:10 how do I know when the dizzy is? is it based on how many hits or damage??
Roughly 45 hits in a loop

The transition from calling magneto mr lensherr to calling smoothviper eric had me so confused bc magnetos name is also erik

@Romneto it was just funny that they have the same name, lol. Don't worry the confusion only lasted a few seconds at the beginning of the video homie
Good shit. Yeah that thought also crossed my mind. There are some overlaps between Marvel and real life.
where are all these tourniments at? i can never find any tournys.

It's Finesse! it's got to be...
Thought it was Tinh Ngo
@@CodeSerial- who is Tinh?
@Romneto he was a cocky Norcal player, was up there but would lose to Chunksta. Went by Mine when Umvc3 came out.
It's not Finesse. He wouldn't hide his identity. I know him IRL.
Why did Baby Missle stop playing & let Eric win?😒😑
I don't believe that is what happened.
@Romneto Ok your thoughts are?
Both players fought it out as much as they could and Smoothviper emerged victorious.
What inspired you to think that Baby Missile stopped playing?
