  • Tony Hadley, Jim Cregan and Alex Dyke are back with a home themed edition of your favourite podcast.
Tony remembers an invite to Freddie Mercury’s boudoir to take a look at the carpet. The guys talk about coming home after touring and readjusting to domestic life, the euphoria of being on tour and why you shouldn’t take adulation seriously.
Would the guys like a second home?
Tony remembers hanging out with Queen’s John Deacon, which prompts an anecdote from Jim about how he, Rod Stewart and his band got dressed up as policemen and ended up directing the traffic in LA after a few drinks.
Plus there are memories of renting the TV and watching Bullseye, Take Your Pick, High Chaparall and meeting Jimmy Tarbuck.
Oh and Jim remembers disrupting Dick Clark’s American Bandstand show with some live chickens...

Jim Cregan is a legend who worked with one of my favourite heroes, Steve Harley for years.

@Madalyn Sims I have no doubt, it was the cat's house, Freddie just lived there!

I'm very protective of Freddie. I think he made a mistake inviting you into his most sacred space. That is why he didn't trust much people.

Oh please , Freddie wasn't a Saint, in fact he'd be laughing his head off if anyone suggested he was. He had a great sense of humour and an ability to laugh at himself. Tony Hadley had a great affection for Freddie and wouldn't say anything horrible about him at all.

They weren’t fighting for your country Jim. They were there at the behest of politicians who had their own agenda, during which hundreds of thousands of people whose country they were in died as a result.
