The police in this country have a TEN PERCENT success rate in solving crime. Maybe if they spent less time talking to photographers, the police wouldnt be 90% completely ineffective.
Dragnet policing, molest as many as possible at the roadside and see how big a bonus we can give ourselves next year for inventing crimes before they happen.

The 90% proves how frequently they use arresting somebody as an tool of intimidation. IMO the option to ‘de-arrest’ someone that has been arrested needs to be abolished to make sure any arrest met the legal threshold. When there is no charge following arrest, there was insufficient suspicion to arrest at the outset. 👍🏻

Member of public then shows cop footage clearly showing the bleeding person attacked you first and then fell causing the bleeding. You would rather that the officer be forced to put you in a van, transport you to a station, search you, put you in a cell and leave you there for 12 hours while the paperwork gets done instead of simply saying "dearrested" and dropping it? Seems like a big waste of everyones time and a recipe to clog up space i

That "POLICE ONLY" sign is a No Entry traffic sign and is clearly referring to vehicles, that office clearly needs to study the Highway Code as he obviously does not understand the traffic signs used in the UK

The officer is openly admitting to an intention to break the Data Protection Act, it's a breach of GDPR / DPA for your personal information to be disclosed or misused, you can make a data breach claim against the officer for this. The ICO take this stuff very seriously, the fines are often enormous.

The MET dispersed a number of officers who were based at Charing Cross to other stations. From my own experience this only serves to contaminate those other stations. Merseyside had a clear out of a clique of corrupt former Liverpool city police officers, some of them quite senior. The stations they were sent to began to have problems ranging from sexual harassment, bullying, perverting the course of justice (fitting up) to outright criminality. It took a few early retirements, forced resignations and finally prosecutions over a number of years to sort it.
The actions of that officer with his phone was quite disturbing.

I think it may be time for auditors to carry out citizens arrests. If an officer fails to introduce them self, fails to identify, fails to inform that their body worn camera is on, behaves in a manner that demonstrates a lack of understanding of the law, attempts to infringe upon your human rights and has clearly not read the IOPC guidelines relating to auditing. I would say they are impersonating a police officer.

Whatever you think of auditors this really does show the childish response from the police when engaged in talking
Why do the police sometimes ask someone with a camera filming outside a police compound if they are an auditor. Would they they ask a man driving a milk float to the station to deliver milk if they were a milkman.

What a fantastic example that first officer was for the level of intelligence in our police force today. There is something seriously wrong with that guy if he thinks your behaviour is strange and his action was normal.
The next crew on the emergency call , that’s the normal speed they react to emergencies. So what he is saying is if you put an emergency call in & they are going to dinner or finishing you have to wait until they go back to change shifts before the incident is attended. Nothing new there then
