There is no comparison between doing your job at an event as Kemi does, compared with Starmer taking huge, purely personal luxuries that people would normally pay for themselves, worth deeply into the six figures. For example, Starmer could have paid for his son to be rehoused to revise for his exams even weeks after he had completed them, but he did not, at least not in money. Favours of some kind must be therefore suspected if not assumed. No favours are owned by Kemi, which is the difference.

Labour, "Change begins" really means "Control begins". Nurses offered only 5.5% while junior doctors have received 4 times as much (over 2 years) on an already larger salary. Trouble ahead. What they don’t get is that the UK pension is about 38% of that enjoyed by other Western nations. It’s a disgrace. The contributions paid by workers and their employers over decades have been squandered as they were designated as general taxation. Pensions are now considered a benefit. That’s like saying money you have saved in the bank is a benefit when you withdraw it. Pensions are a contract with the government that they will be paid in return for National Insurance contributions. They are not a benefit they are a right. If pensions in the UK were at the level they should be there would be no need for a cold weather payment.
I used to pay into a private pension through Serps and now its been replaced by a workplace pension, i think eventually theyre hoping to do away with the state pension altogether

Pension top up for my Mum (who had a very small widows pension from the Navy) was £11.05 a week. All it does is top your pension up to the full amount if, for whatever reason, you don't have enough NI stamps to get the full one anyway. For example, my Mum didn't work until my brother and I left school. Thus the name: PENSION TOP UP!! It isn't called 'Pension Extra'. I wish people would do their homework on this. And yes, if you get any form of disability benefit it doesn't count when assessing your Pension top up. But if you don't get disability benefits, the MAXIMUM you will receive is the full state pension which is £11,541.90. Lucky you for being healthy, but you will also no longer qualify for winter fuel payments.
Kemi is brilliant. The first leadership candidate I have seen for decades with vision. Moreover, she has the intellect, experience, presence, and courage to lead and reestablish unity and direction.

You're clearly indifferent to the children being upset at their mother leaving. I don't know the circumstances surrounding the incident Badenoch describes as to whether it's a one-off or an example of a series of events. But I do know that when a child is upset, you pay attention. When a child exhibits distress, it's a sign they are in pain. So I make no apology for noticing the children in that situation and for asking questions about their being upset. So did he say £17,000+ for couples. So take away the normal pension (that leaves about £4,500. So is £17,000 the figure that's requires to live. I didn't get free tickets etc. The politicians that seem to be falling foul of this gift debacle are forgetting the key aspect of leadership that you are taught in the military which is "servant leadership". That means you serve others before oneself. For me, it is a clear failure of leadership.
