      I think a lot of people spend their life being artists and without ever being artists. They put it off for years - financial reasons and emotional/personal life issue reasons usually. And when they finally "wake into it", it comes on very fast.

      I hear you. I went back to a concept art school when I'm 27 and graduated a few months ago. I'm 29 now and I hear so many stories like yours and mine. It's never too late. Take the leap. Graduating at 30 is better than graduating later. I met a 50 year old who spent his life in tech and starting over again and telling me "I should've done what I wanted to do sooner.

      showerdeaf Preach ✊, man . I know exactly what you're talking about. Heck! I fuckin lived it! My entire life I'd always been a film 🎥 buff. Yet, at the time ⌚, I never took that passion seriously enough to think that I could pursue it as a stable career. So, I pushed myself academically and in 2015 I went to Edinburgh University 🎓 to pursue a degree in French and Spanish. No more than a week into my course, I fall madly out of love with it and only then did I wake up and smell the roses 🌹; the only time I ever felt truly comfortable in my own skin was when I was doing something related to film. So, I took a year out to focus on a career in acting 🎭 and film making. Fast forward to present day and I couldn't be happier. I now have a full 🌕 scholarship at Stirling University 🎓 to study Film and Media, a litany of valuable personal connections with industry professionals, a bulky portfolio with 4 short films and 1 radio 📻 play to boast, my own radio show and a corporate video 📹 making business which is currently under development.

      My path isn't for everyone, but if you are determined to start and finish school, there are Hundreds of ways to pay for school in the United States. And even if you aren't an American Citizen, you can get a school visa and the government will pay for your school either completely or partially. So having no money isn't an excuse to not attend college.

      don't let that discourage you. there can be many reasons why that's the case.

    • @animexanimationstudios8275
      @animexanimationstudios8275 5 лет назад

      @@OCDTraci the reason why is because there are hardly any female animators, and with only three employees sharing their story, the female percentage is still far lower. Anyway, whats wrong with guys? regardless of gender, you can be inspired by these stories, and motivated to fulfill your dreams

    As much as I love Pixar and I have got ideas for both an original Pixar film and for a possible sequel for Brave. But I’m also aspiring to be an animator in WDAS (Walt Disney Animation Studios), cause I have another original idea that is directly for WDAS. An animated drama musical comedy movie set in Puerto Rico

      Then be a writer maybe. Like do you want to write for animation. You can still do it! For me I’m gonna collaborate with an artist so I can make an animated show when I’m older. (I heard the creator of Bojack Horseman did that)

      ADAM GENESIS, oh please, stop being so arrogant and full of yourself. I bet you can only draw like plenty of kids. And that guy probably had a lot of talent AND would have actually worked really hard before getting into pixar. "praying" and letting your hormones get the better of you isn't gonna get you into a top quality company, you need to actually work hard like that person, otherwise your art will never be close to good enough.

      Dude with an art degree who was admitted part of a highly selective internship, further proving himself to animators willing to go out on a limb for him... Bud that's not knowing nothing, that's having the perseverance of an artist. Jealous, salty little shit. Many animators have non-animation art degrees. He's just being hard on himself, a superb trait for an artist. Your attitude shows you will always blame others and make excuses for not putting in work yourself. If you can do it, then just do it, what are you getting in such a fuss for? You're sixteen and you already want to get in Pixar, then you've already avoided the hurdles these three artists went through and can just go to an animation type program, get an internship, and most certainly get in Pixar with a decent amount of work.

    WHAAAAAAT??? He was a Doctor in Medicine. So why did he took up the course in the first place??? But still he made a right choice because he realized what he really wants. How I wish I got that medical intelligence...

      There is no medical intelligence, only intentional tenacity. Natural intelligence is a myth. No one gets anywhere no matter how naturally intelligent you are with the most tenacious spirit and work ethic an exceptionally high perseverance.

      online schools are much, much cheaper, and there are some pretty high quality online schools out there. the one i would recommend is AnimSchool. Check out their RUclips channel, and their website.

      You'd have to prove yourself, build a good portfolio, get experience working in teams with professionals who would be willing to go out on a limb for you after seeing that you're good.
