I have dreadlocks myself and I have learned a lot from your videos on how to take care of them. You put on great videos. Don’t let anybody’s mean or ignorant comments let you down.
Shampoo dries out your hair. Conditioner puts back the nutrients. A lot of people co-wash because shampoo can be damaging

sweet vid! thanks for mentioning over-maintenance, and the importance of drying! I've lost the tips of several dreads because of crochet and too much bleaching when they were babies. Also, if anyone has trouble getting their hair dry fast enough, get a soft bonnet dryer! I knocked 7 hours off of my dry time. yayyyyy!
i use leave in conditioner and its good because it moisterizes it for a bit

I love using conditioner. It softens and protects the hair. But I dilute mean, just like with shampoo. Full strength conditioner WILL untangle your locs. I know from experience. My locs started to detangle, but they're also younger than yours, so the results may vary.
Conditioner leaves residue, and greasy hair is harder to lock up even the natural oils.
Also, conditioner does not have to be a bottle of conditioner. It can be a concoction of oils and stuff or a serum. You can buy those serums or buy the oils yourself and mix them depending on what works for you because everyone's dreads are different and we all have different textures and stuff. But if a bottle of conditioner works for you, then it works just make sure its clear so you don't get build up. You will get build up regardless but if the stuff is clear you get less.

The mistake l did was put some of my dreadlocks into a knot and l can’t undo it, but a lot of my dreadlocks are not in a knot and are looking healthy. Also nice vids, and l like how you act like yourself
i use conditioner and im only like 5 months locked....it makes your hair feel so great afterward. you should try it out dude for sure..btw i love your dreads

My mistake was that I did too big sections and I dont really like my locs.... I am planning on getting dread extensions.... Should I get extensions?
Can you do twist and rip method and also locking gel to make them look neater and hold together? Btw straight wavy hair right now but naturally my hairs curly just damaged from straightening.

Or backcomb with crotchet needle
I’ve had dreads for a year and a half with the back comb crotchet needle and they knotted just fine
Wax is temp fix for messy locs but in the end you’ll end up regretting it
No conditioner, it detanglizes and smooth the strands, the opposite of what a dread is, it is just a pretty friction knot.

I use biotin & collagen thickening shampoo & conditioner it strengthens your hair/dreadlocks and it’s really easy to rinse and it smells great
design essentials conditioner give yo scalp alot of moisture and good thing for yo hair
Conditioner with dreadlocks is fine it’s makes them so soft and nice
If I do these mistakes then my hair will turn out like gunthers and I will not avoid all of these
Btwyou can let your hair air dry if it's wet lol. Don't tie it's together and cause areas to become damp before they dry. Let em stiff out
I Use Leave In Conditioner Often, Shampoo Seems To Make My Hair Extremely Dry.
I used leave conditioner but I mix it with a lot of water so it doesn't build up

Don’t think about negative things on ur dreads
I have soap (dr bronner) stuck in my locks since 1 year, how can I get rid of it ? I've made multiple ACV rinse but it's still here
I've called a dreadlocks salon and they told me it's too late because the soap has "grown" with the hair so we can't get rid of it.
Anyway what's your thoughts ? Thanks.
sniperrrish also have this build up but not from dr bronners i did a dishsoap soak but not rubbed directly like gunther im gonna try that next.

DaDirtyTroll bro wash them at least once or twice a month. You don't want oily dreads. I was twice a month and the other weeks I don't wash I already get them wet.
DaDirtyTroll so I do a bit of a towel, then blow dry. I have let it sit dry but that takes to long and can cause mold.
Scarring is when u crochet your dreads and it leaves bumps in your hair
