One of the most UNDERRATED diss records of all time. She said “I was hopeless, now I’m on Hope Road”. That had to hurt Wyclef’s whole heart when he caught that bar lol. She bodied dude on this record.

Yeah man. 98 was THAT year as far as Hip Hop in particular goes, and all music genres really if you google it. But L Boogie shocked the Hip Hop world when this album dropped. Every ride was bumping tracks from this album for almost 2 years after it dropped. This album is classic and a landmark musically like all Earth Wind and Fire music is a landmark to the 70s bruh, for real.
Hip hop was at a crossroad between corporate taking over and real rap but corporate win and from that point on it’s all gimmick that rely on marketing and promotions
