Rza is top 3 producer of all time if not one he might be the only one that makes track and you don’t know he made it from movies to jazz to hip hop etc…. Tim Alan’s is dope but we know it’s him dre also pharell also but we can see it’s them but rza is out of this world. My 2 cents . Also primo is dope but we know it’s him.

One of my favorite Biggie songs AND it was produced by RZA. Win/win....
RZA on production!
The original beat was grimier. Diddy cleaned it up for the album and RZA didn’t like what he did to it.
They didn't know how to mix it... should have like the RZA do it.
@@TheKidKniseBurgh i prefer this beat than la la. Cleaner

Biggie- Unbelievable. One of the freshest cuts ever put on wax 🔥
Facts! The Unbelievable beat was CRAZY on top of swag he threw on his flow. BIG was so cocky but that's what made him that dude. His confidence was undeniable on anything he touched.

One of my favorites for sure!!!
Biggie let Lil Cease of Junior Mafia drive when he was too young and he crashed with Biggie in the passenger seat..it's where the line "till lil cease cripple me" comes from.
and that was after 2pac's death
that means he even wrote this song after that
@@frank_white8794 rumors says he already had disses for pac but he edited the song different times
Charli Baltimore was in there with them too
Wait wasn't that in the movie Notorious?
Finally somebody tell the real PAC wasn’t even dead when this got recorded yo man Ja lied
PAC also had a tattoo “laugh now cry later” on his back.“Laugh now cry later I rhyme greater than average playa hater and spectators.” Big and pac were friends so he said “think about the planes we flew bitches we ran through now the years new. I want my spot back take 2 🎬” lol pac ran with bloods big ran with crips “my team in the marine blue” when pac came out of court he was smoking on cigarettes “blow cases come out fronting smoking something.” pac also supposedly got raped in prison. “heard through the grape vine you got fucked four times that 3-9 did you in for real though.”
Daaamn
Pac also used to run with Crips until he started kicking it with Deathrow, so this might go way deeper than rap.
😂😂 they did what to pac in prison?
Might as well listen to ‘What’s Beef?’ now haha!
Beef is when I see you
Ready to be in icu
That one line is worse than this whole song 😬😬

@@justhirsty4016thats cool.. But u still wrote those lyrics wrong homie lol
Yeah, this is the song where Big finally sent some lyrical bullets back at Pac. He still held back some, in comparison to what Pac was doing, but it’s only so much any man can take. “I aint mad at ya”
FACTS,CAN'T BE MAD AT HIM
You can only turn your cheek so many times
Tupac said on record that he would kill Biggie and his kids (my .44 make sho all yo kids won't grow), and people to this day do not acknowledge the fact that Tupac said he would kill Biggie's daughter.
Biggie is the Greatest Of All Time!
Period!!!
Nah
PAC >
This was recorded before Pac died. You gotta remember. This is a two disc album. He started recording the album in 96 and finished in early 97 before March 1997. The album was already done before Biggie died. Pac is not from LA. He’s from NY but moved to the Bay Area in Cali when he was 17.
the accident happened after pac died tho. "loose teeth like lil cease", "till lil cease cripple me". cant blame big for feeling that way, its beef and he too felt disrespected after hit em up. the only thing i wish was he never went to cali. was still too fucking early....life after death my best hiphop album regardless. rip big and pac, but the whole shit was senseless
@@el84oro He never wanted to go to Cali. Puff made him go.
@@SoulOfTheSouth people say that, and its most likely true, but everything was just poorly thought out. something was bound to happen

You’re 1000% correct in saying this is on Puffy for releasing this song. No one ever brings that up.
Yeah but big used to freestyle a lot of bars from this song in radios
I thought the same thing. Like Big L and other rappers from that time a lot of album tracks were based on freestyles or mixtape verses. Putting this one out was probably a puff move
Puff set him up
P shiddy is a sorry ass individual who is gonna get what's coming to him a few years from now. His days are seriously numbered. He knew the bad boy entourage along with BIG had no business out in California and he knew that.

“Slugs missed ya..” was referring to Pac not getting killed at Quad Studios. Because they obviously didn’t miss in Vegas. Puff tried to clean it up with “We not talking about no other rappers” but Big obviously was talking about “maniacs put my name in rap”
Lil Cease admitted it in an interview and said there were some worse shit they had to take out.
“Ni**a please, blood flood your dungarees“-Pac taking a shot to the groin.
@@ausgamecollector no i heard the original one but edit it and added pacs death and quad studio
Biggie heard all the shots missed and Pac shot himself so that’s why he said slugs missed ya
Puff is a liar
This song was made while pac was alive. PAC died in 96. Big 6 months later. It took a year and change to make this album which came out in 97. Which means it was the entire year of 96 most of these songs were made. It was up to Diddy to keep this song on the album so the decision was made.
Lil Cease says they did the song right after the car accident which I think was after Pac died but I don’t know for sure, I just remember Big had to use a cane to get around while promoting the album, he also said there was some shit they had to take out going at Pac it was too much and Cappadonna was supposed to be on the hook, there’s a version of it with Cap out there somewhere
No the original song was done whilst pac alive just re edited on pac death
The car accident happened post death
Big probably started writing the song while Pac was alive, but for the references to him and Cease's car accident, he had to have added things to this song post Pacs death.
It was cowardly only because he never responded while Pac was alive.
You learning dawg..Get the Sage...
That second verse is ruthless
Everybody in LA did love Pac, but he was born in The Bronx, moved to Baltimore as a kid, and his rap career started in Oakland
produced by RZA, RZA even has writing credits on this
Pac was a ballet from NY. He went to acting school in Baltimore.
@Crynaotlod mc gusto
From what I've heard this song was recorded before Pacs death and the lyrics were changed after his death.
He mentions lil cease crippling him. That happened the day pac got shot or died. So if he's recording that he might have had some stuff already recorded but alot of lines on here like now you rest eternally sleepy and the with your spirit above me that was recorded after pac died.

The entire track was a subliminal diss but keep in mind this wasn't the streaming era. Those CDs were pressed long before BIG died. An expensive, time consuming that didn't allow for editing. Even if the label was willing to absorb the cost, after BIG died it wouldn't have made a difference.
The fact how Biggie dissed 2pac without even saying his name, what a legend
he dissed a dead man. Takes 0 balls to wait till somenes gone to talk shit. He was too scared to call anyone out by name.

That was the first, and last time he spit that. It was so fire all the Pac riders was like now we gonna set that a** on fire, and he never made it out of Cali, and BIG was my favorite at the time, and I was so mad at him for "going back to Cali," it was just reckless and disrespectful, but that's history.

You are a official hip hop head keep it up you are now a student of the game young man much respect to you sir
Yo Ahmad.. suicidal thoughts... what’s beef 🥩 bangers let’s go!
Unlike 2pac, *Biggie's death was easily preventable*. Going back to Cali (no pun intended), rapping Long Kiss Goodnight on a L.A radio station were all horrible decisions. What the hell were they thinking? I blame Puffy for this. He should, to a certain extent, be held accountable for Biggie's murder.
2pac was a semi religious figure in California and the rest of the world really. It was clear someone somehow was going to try to hurt Big and/or Puffy. They should've stayed away from California for at least 3-5 years until the deleterious atmosphere cooled down.
To advanced for his era . Biggie is the king of the rap game best dead or alive no one tops biggy .. HIT EM UP WAS RUTHLESS YES BUT THIS SONG KILLED IT ...

Trust and believe that this was aimed square at Suge and Pac.
King of Hip Hop🔥❤️
Lil cease said that big had another verse in the beginning that was so disrespectful that they couldn’t use it. They had to take it out
You should listen to his song “Kick in the Door” . Nas said it’s aimed at him.
It was aimed at Nas, Jeru the Damaja, and Rae and Ghost
They say the original verse of hit em up was so bad Pac had to rewrite the lyrics just so that it could get radio play.
This album was recorded before Pac died. Released after he passed.
Not really, because Big brought up the car crash with Lil Cease, which was a few days after Pac died. You also forget that he freestyled this song on radio, so even it was recorded before Pac passed, Big still put it out.
This is the tame version. The original Halloween 1996 release version was said to be brutal. That version was scrapped after Pac died in September. Newer verses written. That's where you get updates like "I used to be as strong as ripple be, til Lil Cease crippled me."
Puff has the original, but it wont see the light of day. Only hope is that maybe RZA has a copy.
Biggie is a rap King, Ahmad, keep listening to good stuff! Never ForGet the roots.

They were both alive when this was recorded. Biggie and Puff stayed pretty quiet most of the time when Suge and Pac were going at them. They took the high road. Good catch on the "I ain't mad at ya" I mean cmon...they had to say something. You can just listen to shit like Hit em up and just do NOTHING

You missed so many subliminals in this lol. He was eating Pac up almost the whole song 😂 Blood rushin concussion say nothin, catch (rape) cases come out frontin at death row. Was a reference to Biggie feeling Pac shot himself and the the concussion came from Pac getting pistol whipped.
The lyrics were written while PAC is alive , Biggie made the melody and deleted some strong direct diss after his old friend died ! I will tell it out loud even people don’t want to hear it , PAC was one of the reasons that Biggie died for nothing ❤
