you drive it to a detail center. have them detail it. call your dad when its done. tell him the detailer wants to get paid and you want your $5 for dropping it off and picking it up.
Question: for the wheel wells with the extra caked on icy mud, why not start by hitting it with the steamer for a bit first, just enough to heat up the dirt and metal?
I have a steamer, the smaller version of this one. It really doesn't put out enough hot steam to effectively melt everything, and you would end up holding the nozzle so close to the ice/ mud that it would make a huge mess of the steamer handle. I think a hose with hot water would be a lot more effective, but don't know that it would save him enough time to bother with switching back and forth between the hose and pressure washer.

I used to work at a car wash that was on the way from a beautiful homes situated on dirt roads. They passes the wash on the way to Detroit , where they worked. The mud was so thick that it often formed stalagtite formations on the rockers, and the wheel wells often had inches of mud build up. In the winter months it would be frozen, as would any snow or slush that had been on the vehicle. Often we'd run these vehicles bumper to bumper as cars would line up out of the driveway, and up to hundreds of yards on the side of the road leading up to the wash. Here are a couple techniques I learned and developed while battling this type of build up. 1. Wet the entire vehicle down. This starts to soften mud and ice, allowing for faster removal. For ice, it's all about volume. Make sure it's saturated. 2. Attack the edge of the mud or ice build up. When doing this, the mud and ice can come off in chunks or sheets. Very satisfying! 2. Attack the edge of the mud or ice build up. When doing this, the mud and ice can come off in chunks or sheets. Very satisfying!
This was over 20 years ago, and I still have fond memories of that job. I used to come home with mud in my hair, all over my pants, and sloshing around in my boots.
Me not wanting to watch an 8 minute video my math teacher assigned
Also me : watches car cleaning videos for 3 hours
Just mute the computer and do something else for 8 minutes
Your youngest subscriber is 2 months old. She watches your channel giggles and smiles. She stops crying when I put your channel on.
that's wholesome and adorable
Coppa be like
I’ve been watching these videos while working out. They’re the perfect length for 30 minutes on the elliptical, your music choice is great for cardio, and the work is so satisfying, it keeps me distracted without having to focus too hard. So thanks for helping me get in shape!!
Me: "I know how to wash and clean a car, I've done it multiple times"
Me sees this and other of his videos: "I have no idea what I'm doing"
SAME
Yess
same and i was like so im just doing basic washing then
"some NaStY stains on the chairs"
Love how he says that 😂
silvija . Think it was bodily fluids not soda!
😂😂😂. Some look like skid marks.
He needs to get that black light like Stauffer Garage has, so we can really see those stains.
guys give this guy some credit he’s got a nice relaxing voice and he literally cleaned out the customers car entirely he make’s it look like they just got a new car
Kinda the point, I do detail for a living and you want people to know that you're trying your best for there cars
@@thefallenone7734 :)
who isn't giving him credit?
Dudes water bill said: “⬆️”
I feel like the customers never really appreciate all the hard work he does and the time it goes into it
12etiz I mean they all ( well almost all ) own trucks so.. I mean I live in the south so we’ve got plenty of truck owners.. they can be nice but also.. allot of rude people too.. on another note he sure gets it clean. Really good work And really satisfying too.
i was thinking the same....their reactions are MEH..
Na but we and millions of other people in the world appreciate it😜
Yeah ikr
I would be like OMG WOOOW WHAT? Thank you sooo much thats amazing you did a great a job! Idk some people are just unappreciative.
My only question is- what the heck is this dude's water bill?!
Edit: thanks for all the likes
$200,000
I was thinking the same thing🤣
Is Canada. You don’t pay water bills. Is not a third world country,
Canada, has the most body’s of water in the world also the cleanest.
@ duuhh! Have u been to all the country? We don't pay even a single penny for water here too
i cackled when he said “a little less mud on it EH” HSHDHS
@Tony Stark 26:56
When he’s removing interior items, pulls out the sock and just has a ‘Bruh’ moment.
What if it's "THE" sock?
@@savetheevo nah if it was THE sock, it wouldn’t be flopping around
@@flebbee9813 Oh wait yeah actually lol
He probably cleaned the sock too I know I would
I was thinking in my head “I really wanna see him clean the garage after this one” then you mentioned a garage cleaning video and I got so excitedddd
Dude doesn’t sound Canadian when he does voiced overs but when he talks to other Canadians in a video he sounds Canadian as ever
I didn't realize he was Canadian until I heard his pronunciation of garage and about 😂
Yooo I was thinking the same thing haha. "Yaaa, a little less mudd on it eh?"
OH MY GOD he really does😂😂😂
A boat
@the detail geek - Love how much pride you take in your work. Super professional..
I find Canadian accents adorable lol- soon as they saw each other it was “eh” lolll
Simp
@@lemmonsteppers300 haha very funny.
What are talkin aboot lol
bro for real. i’m from the south and they sound sooooo different! 😂😂
@@kgnorton4202 same here
Everybody gangsta till he gets the receipt of how much water he has to pay this month
Not everyone has a water bill
We have a well at our house so no water bill for us lol
@@itsRockii It costs money to run a well pump
@@JPLIKES2SK8 bru no it doesn't
ツSki Mɑsk how do you think the pump works? It uses electricity. Unless you have a ram pump or a hand pump but almost every home uses an electric pump.
Imagine if the wheel wells hade carpet liners
WHY THAT would be actually idk
They do?
They do
No they don’t he was just was saying what if
Suzuki uses in s cross carpet liners in rear wheels
12 hours!? I hope you charge well. That's an incredible amount of work for a single client.
me showing no interest in cars:
youtube: wanna watch a guy clean a car even though it’s 2 am?
5 am for me 😂
Perhaps
Lol same
Lol why did I watch the entire video
4 am for me 😅😅
I love how he is so thorough, props to him
The reactions are always so underwhelming. With these massive transformations, you'd think people would be more shocked
Well they did see the car when it was clean
You think people never saw a car cleaned before. HUH.
If they cared about a clean vehicle, they'd never let it get this bad ... they react underwhelmed because they dont really care
Well no one really cares i guess.
Humble Canadians don't fake it for theatrics.
Im not a car girl by any means but one day you popped up on my recommended and now i cant stop watching
“A little less mud on it eh” is the most Canadian thing ever. I love it
I think I found my perfectionist spirit sibling in you lol. When you got to the vacuuming part, I really felt that. I used to vacuum my family's old Turkish carpets until I had to pick the stubborn debris by my hands, and it took me hours to get them spotless. If I get my hands on a car vacuum cleaner, I'd use all day just to help clean my family's cars. Seriously.
Who would win:
Chevy Mud-erado
Vs
One Powerwashy Boye
XD
I wish there was a detailer like you in every town 🥺
it is true about canadians, hard work pays off with their kindness
Bro this guy is the best RUclipsr ever. He got me to watch a 28-minute youtube video about cleaning a truck. I have never even seen him before, but he is the best.
The only thing that makes Friday still feel like Friday during all of this social distancing is your videos! (Didn’t realize what day it was until I got the push notification)🤫

That a hella lot of "eh"
I heard it and I was ohh Canadian intensifies 😂
Yeah lol
I’d drive up to Canada for a cleaning like that
And because Canada is pretty cool
Same!
I'd go for the health care but that's just me 🤷🏼♀️
Awesome work .... I so much enjoy your attention to detail and your professionalism.
