Does not exist anymore? I feel very sad man. Nexon managed so terrible his game, they didn´t have to create 100 pj classes but remodeling and keep looking new challenges, metagame changes for users every patch....
NGL when I was still playing GMS I would just put out the relaxation chair and sit here (to offset the drowning lol), and sit here to listen to this piece while doing homework. It didn't matter that I was lv 35 while the mobs were like 90. The music alone was worth the times I almost died to squids. Also I was a mage so I was proud to brag with all my friends about not dying when hitting squids because I had magic guard.

MrYandao of MapleSEA used to train here during his level 19x days. He wasn't bothered to loot the drops and mesos from the squids, so my low-leveled friends and I formed a party to take advantage of the opportunity. Dying constantly was inevitable, but we earned a lot from those loots. What a day to remember!.

You know the stuff! The exact same taste as me! I do really love the El Nath city OST, Henesys rest and peace+ town, and almost every one of Singapore, love that map. Ah, i would say the town Sleepywood too
Lmao I remember training at gobies with my Bowmaster. Usually unless you were a priest/mage, you would split all 3 platforms in the map with 2 other people and try to hire or convince a priest to sit on a rope with HS spamming .. Top, mid, or Bottom. About 3 or 4 houses spawned on each plat. Than there was the annoying bonefish with the cancel weapon damage skill where you would hit all 1s for a minute. And if you were splitting the map a couple of your gobies would always swim away when you broke a house. not mention you would have to try and dodge the houses attack if it used the cancel weapon damage because those things hit hard. And Pianus was a tough boss too. Lol and squids were also a good training spot. Most times you would split that map aswell. This was before people started reaching really high levels. Around the time when 4th job first came out. I hit LVL 120 in gobies. Best moment of my maple career. Aqua was one my favorite places.

The shift in monster difficulty was uncomfortable for me. Everything before this in Aquarium was defeated too easily. But my then-recently-promoted Priest couldn't defeat a Bonefish.
I remember channel’s being so full, that you had to spam LF>Party. If you had no luck, you were forced to fight in the lower levels zones for way less XP! Smh, felt like a nightmare at the time but I miss it
when it first released, all the top levelers were drilling here days and nights, I came in dark sight and watched the top hermit(pre 4th job) to kill squids.
I died so many times in these caves and loved every second of it lol I got jumpstarted by so many of these monsters attacks not knowing what to expect or what lvl they were

My absolute favorite is Leafre: Dragon Nest. That is THE soundtrack for high levels in Maplestory
