I literally can't cope with Amber, she is the sweetest little girl and the way she speaks is incredible, a real credit to you both. Mabel is getting so big now too sitting up and playing with her big sister. this video has cheered me up so much, thankyou Amber 💗
I have had eczema for so many years and I got admitted into hospital with it. The best thing I have ever been on for eczema which really did stop my flare ups so badly was methotrexate. I had a specialist put me on it and it being tablets worked inside out and it was life changing!!!xx
Hi Carys, when you said you’d not been wearing fake tan i felt that 🤣 when you do get back to wearing tan there’s a brand called Biabelle here in Ireland that do an amazing tan that’s been said to be unbelievable for eczema, it has really gentle ingredients for the skin & they’ve so many reviews from eczema sufferers saying their skin has never been so clear! Worth a try when you do go back to wearing it ☺️ xx
Cary’s for the overnight curls use a dressing gown toggle instead! So much better for curls and also is comfier, then you can tie it behind your head like a ponytail and you don’t feel it there!
So glad to have a vlog to watch after a lonnggg Monday!!! A quick fact about sunglasses: when I was at opticians last week I asked what I could do to improve my sight and they said good quality SUNGLASSES! They said the leading cause of blindness in the world is sun damage! As uncomfortable as they are they are soooo good for you!!
I had eczema for many many years and one day someone advised me to start very low carb and eat oily fish atleast twice a week. Basically I followed the meditteranean diet (which is anti inflammatory) and within a month i noticed any fare ups practically vanish. Since i changed my diet I have never had any more flare ups. I know it might not work for everyone, but it has been amazing.
The cervae also comes in like a bigger tub and a thicker version that is amazing! Also the scratching thing - I noticed that if I got shellac put on my nails the kind of like gel like tip (on short nails) wouldnt break my skin as easily it actually helped me get through my worst flares and let my skin heal (my worst was my legs)
Love your vids!! Apparently oats in a sock and then over a tap whilst the bath is running and then putting the bath salts in is supposed to be really good!! I know it sounds silly but it’s really good for dry skin. Just a thought! ❤
I started going to the gym back in May and it's now vital to my mental health. Getting stronger is the motivation and it really does feel SO GOOD to go. I'm doing things I never thought I could do (I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danolos syndrome) and can almost squat my own body weight now. Thank you for encouraging me to go just for the sake of getting my body moving and feeling good, it was definitely motivation in the beginning. 💜
It’s great you talk about your skin and how you deal with your flare ups! I also struggle with skin issues and have done forever so I get how they can knock you ( and consume you) when they suddenly flare up from nowhere. It would be so good to see you not use the beauty filter when vlogging! You have because great skin that doesn’t need blurring! X
Please look into homeopathy. There will be a homeopath in your area-possibly through the nhs if you are in the uk. My treatment cured my severe eczema xx
Iv heard that the inside of banana skin helps skin problems. Also Hemp cream from the body shop….. my son has ecsma badly, he works with wood and this causes lots of problems…he sometimes wears a barrier cream. Think Amber is looking so much like Cary’s now….
A couple of years ago I was going through a really hard time mentally and so physically I had a huge ezcema flare up, over my neck/behind my ears and my forehead. It all got infected and it wasn’t helping my mental health. Thing that helped me were, making sure to just use creams like aqueous and e45. (Trying to not use excessive products for it),keeping my sheets and clothes clean, so no germs were like building up on my skin. Letting air in on a night! cause my flare up was making me hot all the time and reducing my dairy in take and then it was just pure will power to not scratch! X
Hi Carys, I have eczema & after suffering for a few years with it & it’s so painful I narrowed it down to smoked salmon triggering it I don’t eat it anymore & I have been so much better. Take care x
18:57 any advice on getting little ones to sit up. My little boy is 5 month old today and he WILL not sit up unaided 😂. Any tips or advice would be amazing (he also HATES tummy time so that’s a no go) xx
Look up wet wrapping for your hand eczema!!!! Lower cortisone concentration works wonders for me and I ger horrible hand eczema, ive had every single finger as bad as your worse ones at times
I’m not sure if this is helpful or not but, La Roche-Possay (make of your suncream) also do a body moisturiser called Lipkar AP+M. That’s personally helped my eczema loads but, I totally understand everyone is different. Sometimes, on bad skin days, it’s so hard to feel beautiful as it just effects EVERYTHING. But, I just wanted to remind you, that you are strong, beautiful, and so much more than your skin. You are enough! Wishing you so much luck on your eczema journey. I hope you find what works for you. Thank you for sharing it with us all. 😊🙏🏻
I’m sure you’ve probably thought or know this. So sorry if a repeat. I find dairy is super inflammatory for me, so if I have to much milk or cheese then I get bad flare ups. I also did some work with a naturopath to heal my gut health as my whole body was super inflamed and wasn’t going down because of bad gut bacteria. Anyway, good luck. I’ve had a virus and my eczema is aweful at the moment !! X
Go Carys! Can’t believe no one would want your house it’s so beautiful and the upstairs is big to me!! Wasn’t meant to be the right one it will all work out for ❤and love your house so much anyway! X
I'm with you on the "I can't hear you I'm wearing sunglasses" or "I can't hear you, I don't have my glasses on" because I try to read lips whilst I'm speaking to people so if I can't see properly I'm half deaf 😂
Omg my hands and fingers looked exactly the same as yours!! I went to soo many different doctors to get it soeted. One of them finally changed my steroid cream so it was only medium strength. Then handed me A LOT of moisteriser! Also not washing my hands with soap helped massively. Instead I use Aqueous cream. Feel your pain ❤ you will get through!!!
What size bed is Amber in now? I’m in the US and our crib size is the same as toddler size but I don’t feel like my 2yo is ready for a single… I wish there was something in between
Hi Cary’s, I’ve been watching you and your lovely family for a while & constantly see your struggles with eczema. I don’t know if you will see this message or not but honestly look into black seed oil it genuinely works wonder by applying it every night. My brother had it and every night he applied black seed oil & he barely ever gets any problems with it. Also try drinking 1tsp every morning. I would definitely recommend you to do your research on it. All the best xxx
My cousin used Eucerin products especially the spray on her excema and hers basically healed over 6 weeks. She used to wear gloves to bed with the eucerin handcream on them and its crazy!
Have u tried tacrolimus ointment for ur eczema? I have a few types of eczema and now use it for them all it's brilliant stuff and takes the itchiness away especially on the hands as I suffer terrible with pomfelx and uv eczema on my hands and within 3 days it healed so much. Its also a topical immunosuppressant so isn't damaging to the skin like steroids. I haven't used steroids from my skin now for over 4 years now because of the tacrolimus. I hope it can help u too hun xx
Do you always use the same hand washing soap? That’s what flared up my eczema on my fingers. I’m sorry I know you’ve probably had people comment this before but I’d thought I’d throw it out there that maybe the soap isn’t helping.
What's for you won't pass you as they say 💕 your house is beautiful and still fits your gorgeous family though I absolutely understand your disappointment ❤️ for your hair, the curler will work with slightly damp hair, just not wet as you know 😢
Could your eczema actually be the water in your house? I presume you have hard water because you live down south. Maybe worth looking into as it seems to be your hands and face the most which very well could be your water coming from your taps!
Re your house - in order to make you upstairs look bigger, I’d remove your dressing room and put in a double bed (or 4ft double) and give the illusion of space to sell the opportunity x
My husband suffers from eczema and also gave up steroid cream. It made his skin so bad once that his skin was red raw and he was in a lot of pain. It is a process of illimination at times to find out what triggers it
I too have bought the heatless curlers and had the same result as you 🤣🤣 but the first time I only left them an hour, then 2nd attempt I dried my hair then put them in and then slept in them, they did curl better with longer time, guess its Just practice ❤
Hi my 5 year old has really bad excema and it’s steroid creams he’s getting they clear it for about a week then it’s back again the other creams the doctors give seem to make it worse and so much itchier I’m looking to see what else I can use that’s not a steroid x
Don’t be annoyed Cary’s that you hair isn’t curly it still looks lovely you hair being wavy. Amber has a great imagination ! . Look at all this books on the floor, quote Amber this aren’t books, there hopscotch. We love you chatting and up dating us. You and James have made two beautiful girls. 🎀 You had a nice relaxing bath night 😂 except for the little smudge of the Meatball sauce. Was you two trying to get saucy together…wink wink 😜😜. Have a great week guys and see you in the next Vlog . P.S I hope you manger to heal / stabilise your eczema Cary’s. 🥰👍X
Ahhh I’ve seen the cosi care scratcher for years but im a student and just can’t afford it at all which sucks. I struggle with eczema all over my body and I feel like they would help reduce damage so much because like you said I really dig my nails in and cut my skin all over😭
Great video! Carys I Hope your eczema gets better soon. 🥰 I can’t wait for you to do your breast reduction- I know how hard that must be on your back 😘😘
"What if a screen drops down right now and says don't walk another step or you're going to die and you're like sorry I can't see because of my sunglasses" 😂 thank you Carys, I needed that giggle hehe.
I am Israeli and after going into the dead sea my skin is always amazing .The mud is great and you can buy make up made by the same company U need it to come from Israel ...dead sea spa
I’m always so amazed by Amber’s level of speech!! Her little comments just make these videos lol!

Build on top of the extension to make the upstairs bigger.

Fellow hEDS warrior here! Good job for persevering! Strength training is the best thing we can do for our condition

This was such a funny post and Amber oh my cup runneth over. Mabel favors James. You all are truly blessed.
I use a cream on my skin when I have problems, its by Avene called cicalfate. I find it really helps me.
What was the name of the excema stratcher you show please? I can't seem to find it anywhere
love you guys so much, your vlogs are the best and always brighten up my day xx ❤️
Iv heard that the inside of banana skin helps skin problems. Also Hemp cream from the body shop….. my son has ecsma badly, he works with wood and this causes lots of problems…he sometimes wears a barrier cream. Think Amber is looking so much like Cary’s now….
Where we live in England they won’t let you make an offer unless your house is already sold, missed out on so many perfect homes ours still for sale

You need to do the Heatless curls on dry hair! Not even damp, just do it completely dry xxx
Hi Carys, I have eczema & after suffering for a few years with it & it’s so painful I narrowed it down to smoked salmon triggering it I don’t eat it anymore & I have been so much better. Take care x
Maybe try the heatless curls next time with 80% dry hair! And use a mousse or salt spray in it before twisting to hold xx
Carys you are looking amazing!! 😊
18:57 any advice on getting little ones to sit up. My little boy is 5 month old today and he WILL not sit up unaided 😂. Any tips or advice would be amazing (he also HATES tummy time so that’s a no go) xx
Also just wanted to say thank you for creating such an amazing journal! I absolutely love it! Xxx
For a mug you could get one of those metal / ceramic camping ones? And just want to say careful to not put the oil dropper onto your skin!❤️
Look up wet wrapping for your hand eczema!!!! Lower cortisone concentration works wonders for me and I ger horrible hand eczema, ive had every single finger as bad as your worse ones at times

Carys telling James “you nugget” after having the camera screen backwards absolutely sent me lmaoooooo what a cute and creative insult. I love it 😂
Have u tried tacrolimus ointment for ur eczema? Where are the pyjamas from? Xx
The meatballs on the jumper is so relatable hahahhaa
Carys every time you talk while making tea, I feel like having a cup of tea with you😅
Do you always use the same hand washing soap? That’s what flared up my eczema on my fingers. I’m sorry I know you’ve probably had people comment this before but I’d thought I’d throw it out there that maybe the soap isn’t helping.
What's for you won't pass you as they say 💕 your house is beautiful and still fits your gorgeous family though I absolutely understand your disappointment ❤️ for your hair, the curler will work with slightly damp hair, just not wet as you know 😢
Thank you for raising some awareness of TSW!
Missed your vlogs!! Where is Amber's sunshine tshirt from? She's such a lovely little lady, you guys are amazing parents xx

Goats milk is good for helping with eczema doesn't smell pleasant but does help
Re your house - in order to make you upstairs look bigger, I’d remove your dressing room and put in a double bed (or 4ft double) and give the illusion of space to sell the opportunity x

I too have bought the heatless curlers and had the same result as you 🤣🤣 but the first time I only left them an hour, then 2nd attempt I dried my hair then put them in and then slept in them, they did curl better with longer time, guess its Just practice ❤
Carys, have you thought about caffeine potentially aggravating your eczema? Coz you do love your teas/coffees..just a thought 🤷🏻♀️
You need to do the curler when your hair is dry xxx
I love that whenever Amber speakers, you stop talking to the camera and always take the time to listen to her.
Training for longevity!!!! 💪💪💪💪
I feel exactly the same about the sunglasses!!!! I feel so claustrophobic lol
You could always get an espresso mug for amber, they are small mugs. I’m not sure about silicone mugs tho xx
Hi

Hi my 5 year old has really bad excema and it’s steroid creams he’s getting they clear it for about a week then it’s back again the other creams the doctors give seem to make it worse and so much itchier I’m looking to see what else I can use that’s not a steroid x
