I have the 750W mid drive governed to actually 750W/20mph so it's legal on MN state trails. My commute is .7 miles straight up and down a 8.5% grade hill twice every day and it doesn't even blink at it. Goes up easily at 10mph on throttle in 2nd gear and with a 4 piston brake upgrade there's no worries going back down. I have 600 miles on it so far without any problems that weren't my own fault. I was too busy with gear shifting at first and that motor will bend the hell out of a cassette if you shift wrong. Biktrix was nice enough to send me a replacement for free. Couldn't be happier with this bike and their service.
I have had my Jug Duo Ultra Mid drive for 3 years and it is a fantastic machine. Had to replace the rear rack as I broke it on transport by not tieing down properly and replaced the chain once as it was worn out.. No issues other than that. Great company too! Really worked with me when I ordered it and when I was buy upgrades for it.
I got the 1000 watt mid drive step-thru thanks to your video. Powerful & fun! I used to ride motorcycles and this is like a small electric motorcycle, which is just what I wanted. Love the 3" tires and comfortable ride. I thought I would add a suspension seat post but after riding it I don't think I need one. Got the biggest 2nd battery and glad I did since I am really using a lot of juice using this mostly with the throttle because it's so much fun. Thanks for the excellent video.
Great video. I strongly considered bijtrix. But I really wanted a 1000w over a 750w, but bijtrix 1000w was out of my price range. And your other bike reviews introduced me to fabulous ebikes and so I bought the 1000w havoc xtreme. What a bike!! Top speed throttle only about 29mph, but super powerful and fun. Thank you for all your videos 😊
It's a 1,500w + system, plus the motor is probably either geared lower, or wound to have more power down low, which would explain the 26 mile an hour top speed.
Seems like they pay great attention to detail and engineering . Your educated eye really gives us the best reviews yet. Thank you for all your efforts and help.
@11:40 - 2nd Battery Wire getting in the way? Here is a fix - TURN OFF both batteries. Then Unplug BOTH batteries. Unscrew the screws holding 2nd Battery port in place (Below Seat Post) and carefully rotate port 90 Degrees to the LEFT. Replace the screws and tighten. Plug battery cable back in place and it SHOULD now be OUT of your way. I enjoy your videos - Northern Neighbor! Look forward to more.
To me, the hill climb is the true test of the bikes capabilities. Have you tried the hill climb with the "Wired" bike? Watched most of your videos and for some reason don't remember if you did a hill climb test on that bike. If you did I missed it. I have been looking for the past three years for an E-bike. My weight is the challenge . 260 + gear. State parks and fed land requirement of 750 motor is why my decision is so hard. I'm not looking for speed as much as hill climbing ability. At first I thought the mid drive is the way to go for torque, then realized that at least with a hub drive you have a back up. With the mid drive, you break the chain you are done. Love your channel. If you are ever in the Durham, NC area, would love to pick your brain over some coffee. Peace, Mo
No hub drive compares to the Wired when it comes to power and dominating hills. You're looking at a 48 volt 750 watt system VS a 60 volt 2,000 watt system. He does show the Wired hill climb watch his other videos
Awesome bike. I like this and the Aventon Aventure 2. Which would you go with between this, or the Aventure 2? And why? Where does this beat the Aventure 2 and where does the Aventure 2 beat this?
A little off topic but have you ever had a front wheel wobble on an e-bike at higher speeds. Had it happen to me the other day riding 32 mph on a straight. All my front end parts are tight so not sure how it happened but it makes me hesitant going fast on the bike again .
Yes ,i have less than 50 mi. On my new area13 blackbird stepthrough . It is scary, front wheel wobles at all speeds, scares the hell out of me. Its more than awoble ,it gets dangerous, almost causeing a crash. Please tell me if you have found a solution.
@@SoyElDiabloRojo NOP, I HAS PEDALS FIRST OFF, second top speed is limited to 40mph when pedaling not THROOTTLE ONLY. BUT BE SICK FOR toying gear and my buddies rascal.
I have an RX and i don't hesitate to recommend one! Great bang for your buck! Get the additional piggyback battery! I wish they had that option when i got mine!
@@rookie90210 I have a Rize RX but it is the older 48v bike, i believe the RX and RX Pro are 52volt systems now and that would make them even better! I would go with the dual battery option because Bafang M620 is a big motor!
HEY CITIZEN can you find out if the Wired freedom has a plug running from controller to battery because I've looked all over and can't find one . Planning on going dual battery but don't want to splice into the factory wire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've had a 1000w bafang mid drive before, it was OK. the motor tended to get hot if you lugged at low speed. It was powerful but you really have pay attention to your shifting so you don't put too much stress on the chain.
Where I live the Aventure 2 and this Juggernaut (with the one built in 17 amp battery, not with the second battery) are the same price. Which would you go with between those two? I see the Aventure 2 goes faster but the Juggerrnaut seems more power off the start and better for hills. Also Aventon has now limited the top speed to 28 mph through their app whereas it used to be 32 mph.
@@CitizenCycle925 provided the use wires off that connector. Not soldered to control board. Love your channel. The reviews and testing are thorough. Been researching for awhile. RoadWarrior is still on the top of my list with all things considered.
Biktrix to me has always seemed overpriced for what they are. How does anyone justify the higher prices, is it build quality, weight, components? Seems like they have basic components and the typical Bafang motors
My Himiway Cruiser with a modified display does 28MPH on straights, throttle only pn flat straights and I'm just under 200 LBS. Max speed has been 36 MPH down hill peddling hard.

Juggernaut Eagle 2 with 2300W Dual Chain Motor. Dream bike!!!
I Have a Juggernaut HD for 4 years and i love and appreciate that bike more each year!
GREAT review as always thanks for all the new ebike updates . Would never know what's good out there if it wasn't for you !!!
My pleasure!
This could be the next dual motor bike? Seems perfect base set up.

It seems like a high amp controller is the answer for power. I wish they didn’t limit the speed like they did on this bike.
Easiest way to get more power bigger controller.😁
Fine line between an electric bike and a motorcycle...........
That was a great review. This is a really nice ebike.
So I’ve revived lot of your videos and went with biktrix ultra duo 2 cause of your reviews. Appreciate your reviews. Keep it up. Lots of good info!
Sharp looking bike too... great review as always...
How about obeying the stop signs, and where is your helmet?

Biktrix is definitely near the top of the food chain for ebikes.
I've had 2 biktrix bikes and they've both been very nice in quality and power.

I bought a bafang mid drive kit and I got the same display and I love it.. nice bike.
I Thought really hard about getting one of thier bikes .but I haven't heard to many good reviews about the bike s or company. So I went with fabulous
Good review 2,399 thanks good power. I like the torque sensor. Great 👍 job
I'm liking this bike. Did you unlock it for higher speeds or did it come out of the box like that. Is there a unlock speed option in the display?
Comes set at 20mph, I unlocked to 26mph. I set the setting to 99 but 26 is all she would do.

Great video. Biktrix website says this model has both cadence and torque sensors. is this the case? If so, how does that combination work?
I did not notice any cadence sensor. you could spin the pedals without activating the motor.
Didnt the wired freedom take that hill??
I don't know jf anything can touch the twin motor rad citizen bike , but for stock biktrix seems to have a good one.
yes i was very pleased with the power of this bike, strongest 750w motor i ever tested.
GREAAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS, move in up to big leagues. But you GOTTA REVIEW BITRIX JUGGERNAUT XD.
I just looked that up myself, 2300W mid drive would be utterly insane. That's a motorcycle!

Regarding the torque sensor, is it smoother than the Aventon 2?
My middrive biktrix will hit 30miles a hour

Definitely Juggernaut

Nice .. I like it .. I have a ecells monarch

Can you rotate the the connector that is mounted on the bike 90 degrees counter clockwise? Then you should be able to run the wire along the frame.
That was my suggestion as well, seems to make sense to turn it.

How fast does it go with 5 pedal assist and full strength pedaling?
Looks like max is 25 or 26 mph tops
no rear suspension is a deal breaker.
