Even I haven't finished the main story and get this side quest, at least I have to aware it so I don't waste my time to search it

Hey I know this is a while after you commented and you probably already know what to do but to get and finish the side quest I think you have to finish the main story

Why my quest says talk to katallo at the base??? And he's not there in the base wtf??....
Have u done all the story quest yet?? If you do, he's not at the base anymore. He's at the memorial grove after the story complete. If u haven't finished the main mission yet, he still at the base with erend, alva and gangs
Just bad level design. You pry open the door and it naturally leads you down a path with a dead end. There's no logical reason to think you should need to back track and find a vent in the ceiling.
Except she mentioned the vent ceiling when you enter the room.

this was not as bad as people in the comments leads you to believe. Finding the vents was rather easy, I used Acid traps to handle the Specters. All in all it was that bad, a pretty easy mission on hard difficulty.
LOL he actually died! Against some of the weakest enemies in the game. How pathetic! I only died once in my entire playthru.
