I have been play genshin for past 3 years but had to quit because of the lack of qol updates and lack of end game content....oh and also after playing wuwa genshin feels a really slow game whether its exploration or a quest it just so damn slow...i just hope wuwa keeps getting better

What i wanted for Illusive Realm

>milestone rewards that gives you enhancements,morphable echoes,high tier food materials,gold materials,credits,standard banner pulls every 20 lvls of the milestone. The cap of the milestone increase every month or version patches. Basically kinda like a battle pass but your only way to get the rewards is just play the game.

>1 or 2 random Trial characters in rotation be available every month/version patch
Congrats! One day we all be there too. I'll play the game though, until Snezhnaya. After that i'll quit. Why not quit now? I don't want to be overwhelmed when i get back for Snezhnaya. It's better to play it on the flow, if you get what i mean. And no, dropping it won't be hard, because i went on a monthly vocation and didn't play the game at all, and when i returned i understood that i'm totally fine with dropping it. But Snezhnaya (as my homeland) piques my interest a bit, so i wanna try and hold on until then. Though tbh i don't play everyday, like usually once a week or so.
Genshin added the new endgame and i tried it out. It's not that hard more like demanding you having a lot of characters from different elements, which can be annoying to some or nearly impossible to do on the challenge type accounts (like i have catalyst only account and i highly doubt this new endgame mode is even possible to complete there). Instead of adding smth like Labyrinth Warriors (2.2/2.3 event) which was a prototype for Simulated Universe in Honkai Star Rail, they implement a mode that limits players even more and forces them to pull for more characters or spend their resources on characters they will never use or don't want to use. It's such a weird decision ngl.
As for zzz, i'm not gonna play it. Reasons are: not enough space on my laptop, i don't really like characters designs (only Billy is cool, but playing because of him alone is not enough), the atmosphere is too similar to Persona 5 and i have not very pleasant flashbacks regarding that game, i had enough of Hoyo's games.
I believe 1 more year and only HSR will be left in my life. I genuinely enjoy this game and story and characters. Much more than i did with Genshin back in 2020. Genshin is in such a sad state that i'm just disappointed. It had potential, but everything was wasted on the gold goose treatment. Unfortunate.
Genshin for me personally is one of the most important parts of my life, not tryna be a incel or smth, but I have gotten so many friends in genshin and even though I suck in end game content or whatever, genshin will always be that game for me. No game other than genshin and pkmn have gotten me this hooked. It was painful to delete wuwa but wuwa just wasnt for me, I am bad at combat focused games and wuwa ran too slowly for me. I respect both games and sadly cant play ZZZ as playing more than 2 gachas is too time consuming for me(I pkay hsr and genshin).
Understandable, I'm just very glad to have people tell me that they love genshin in a much appropriate manner instead of calling me a genshin hater. I also have friends in genshin, even my wife plays genshin and even refuses to play wuwa for its difficulty. I can respect players enjoyment towards the games they're playing
You gave your reasons and that should always be valued.
Personally I'm fine with Genshin because it's simple and easy with good story. I'm usually out of the house from 6am to 7/8pm and genshin is the easiest game i know for me to de-stress from work. And it doesn't tka e alot of my time. I like Wuthering and i like their mechanics as well, but i decided to delete wuthering because it started to feel like a chore trying to learn each characters mechanic like dajin there. All the combos and echo farming is more complicated than genshin where you can just go to one domain and farm mindlessly. But lets see what ZZZ has to offer when it launches
That's respectable, I won't deny that genshin's casual aspect of the game is perfect for those who are working 9 to 5 and only play the game for their simplicity.
cant lie whenever i see someone say "good story" along with "gacha" i just feel they have never played an actual story game. genshins story is mid at best. But hey if you like the story thats great.

Really glad to hear that, I used to spend on welkin and BP too but after knowing hoyo won't improve endgame content, made it seem useless to have those strong BP weapons.

idk, genshin make me have some spirit to play game again after so much drama in mmo im play like DR or RoX,
for now im not that active player, login daily resin n off while im spend most of my time playing offline game
n i found 2 side comunity too. 1 is really end game player when they understand TC,perfect rotaion, counting ER, CR or CDM or so + "casually" doing trio duo in abbys
when another side is new game player comunity like under 40 AR but they r so cute tho hahaha
im decided to keep play, since this game is not grind-hard like wuwa or so + im endgame player with 99% archivment. 20 min in daily for wake me up in morning is not that bad hahaha

I alrady stopped playing GN, and today i was plating zzz since morning like 8 hours and zzz is just boring because of that tvs system 😶. GN never gonna change and so zzz tvs system mybe the va is good but overall satisfaction is 7/10 and for me why would i play a game where its not very fun, and there r alrady excited mybe 8/10 games or 9/10, last week i played detroit become human and it was 9/10 playing that game was worth it, but not genshin or zzz, atlest for me, and evern star rail the events r soo boring
