A home needs three things. A living/bedroom area. A kitchen area. Finally, a bathroom area. If it doesn't have all three of these things, it's just a shelter.

We now live in a mobile home, about the smallest type of structure that I want to live in. I think the idea of tiny houses is pretty kewl, though.

And my mom and my stepdad are going to have their own. I’m going to have a cozy living room, a bathroom, and a loft bed.

Without the sub-titles I as a German would NOT have understood the German word only from being mangled by the presenter.

Yeah you’d also have to deal with Storms, Sharks literally at your doorstep, possibility of Pirates, majority of sailing boats are built with only basic isolation so you’re either really cold or hot 🤷‍♂️, Water and Electricity become priority considering you only have a set amount, really bad WiFi like really bad at points there is none 😂, dead winds leaving you stuck at sea for hours at a time but rare if you know what you’re doing.

With MY "tea-knee tiny" apartment here in South Saint Paul MN, where I've made adjustments like *9-Watt LED* lightbulbs (output appears as 60W; warm tone), a wheel killswitch cord (the kind used for Xmas tree lights) to remotely (dis)connect all my electronics in my livingroom setup in one spin of the wheel and clicks on/off! I find tiny house living fascinating. But my mother finds people who want to live in tiny homes very weird and stupid. When there are plenty of reasons of why people want to live in tiny homes. But she prefers living in a big house. But of all these tiny homes. I most certainly don't want to live in the Soul Box house. When there is no kitchen or bathroom in it. How in the world do you live in a home with no kitchen or bathroom? But as someone who has a passion for astronomy. I would love to live in any of the tiny homes with a transparent roof. Or a window on the roof. That hotel one is just perfect for me. It's a shame it's in another country. But seeing these homes is now giving me some ideas. About trying to make some tiny homes in my Sims 4 game.

If you want to need to go small, live on a boat and rent a storage unit for your cloths. Being on one of those little boxes and going outside to be in the middle of a city would make me crazy. Marinas are much nicer places to live. Not only that, most boats come with furniture, range and oven built in. And compared to the price of some of these sardine cans, boats are a bargain. And if your neighbor's piss you off, you can leave. Oh! and boats come with toilets, holding tanks and there is an established method to empty them.

as a finn I chuckled a bit at 5:14. "once the night settles in". what night? in summer if you live in north the sun doesn't set. even in south there's just a short gray time but no dark night where you can see stars. it doesn't seem the kind of cabin that is suited for living in winter, so maybe you could see some stars in spring and fall? but the point I think is to enjoy the beautiful nature and scenery and the nightless night. also if you're ever going to visit finland in summer, bring an eye mask, even the most darkening curtains don't do much for all the light.

I’d love a spacious home, we got our house when we were 2 small children, 1 cat, and parents. Now it’s me and my brother both teenagers, 3 cats, a dog, and several home offices one for each parent and I’m in the dining room. Our kitchen is small and terribly designed so it’s awful. I would not pay exorbitant amounts of money for something smaller. This is 3 bedroom 2 bath with a furnished basement
