I talked with Pilot and Loves (Gemini) and they both said NO to my AUTOMATIC RESTRICTION. They want drivers with manual transmission endorsment.
No Automatic Restrictions. Even tho most of their turcks are automatic!!
I got my CDL permit and I’ve been looking for a school to take my test and endorsements I need to succeed. I appreciate you for being a normal person fam and now I’m on my way to do the best I can, thank you
I review applicants and interview for my driving team here in Colorado and I can tell y’all that consistent job experience and a good attitude go a lot further than just having some CDL experience. Last few guys we’ve brought on were straight out of CDL school but held their last jobs for a while had great attitudes. Arrogance and short term job hoppers with CDL experience mean nothing to hiring managers.
You are speaking facts brother! That’s why I always have a great attitude towards anything and anybody & also this is my first CDL job & wouldn’t trade it for anything right now.
Greetings Mr. R.W. Andrew, I'm in Colorado too. Could I make professional contact with you regarding driving/ CDL information in Colorado? Regards.
Yo man I just wanted to say im bout to relocate to hobbs nm and get my cdl/tanker/hazmat and try my darndest to get a job with no cdl experience! im starting over at 50 years old so im hoping they take some life experience! glad i found your channel, thanks for all the content!!
Thanks for your insights. Preciate ya.
No problem!
Very true, Crude oil trucking companies as well as Energy Transfer are a little bit more strict here in Oklahoma they require experience. Its easier to get jobs in Texas especially in Midland area.
Fr family I’m knowing!
Good stuff my guy! Love your work, very inspirational, especially the part about keeps our head up coming out of school!
Question, how do we know what schools are best? I’m driving starting school in NY, already have tanker to start.
Always ❤️ & look at the ratings online!
Hey bro just found the channel. I work in the East Texas oilfield as well but I do fuel transport to fracs and rigs. I see y’all Energy Transfer guys a lot. They had a position open here a few months ago but I wasn’t sure how good the money was.
We been really busy out here since December. And some of the new fracs starting are using natural gas!
Thanks for tuning in brother!
Yeah man, we get paid great when everything is busy

Just discovered your channel. Loving the content! I'm new to trucking and went straight to local LTL. After 5 months in LTL I'm still not sure if it's the right fit for me, but it pays well. I am considering a change, something local of course!
what LTL company?
@shakoi. I work for Old Dominion Freight Line. Good company to work for! At the time of commenting this, I didn't realize how competitive the pay was in my area. Pay wise, I'm in the best place I could be for being local.
@@kevingustin4528 do they hire new graduates?

Bro, I'm so jealous. I'm in Texas, and all of the jobs I've applied require experience. My actual experience is in the US Marines, and they wouldn't count that. What company is that you're with?
