Who inspires you to be the best that you can be?
This is another very chatty video, I hope you enjoy.
I tried to list everything mentioned in the video....but it's quite a list today!

Bridget no joke you inspire me...I'm all over all of your social media accounts and I've mentioned how much you inspired me before....I am a teacher education student and at times ot gets tought but I will never give up because what you're sharing makes us better and in the future we could use what you have given to us to inspire others...again thank you for your hard work, dedication, and consistency

You! Tina Beitler and "Toocoolformiddleschool" have all three truly inspired me! All three of you are positive, hardworking and have given me so many ideas to steal for this year. This is my year 19!! Yikes!! I have even "stolen" your data binder idea for my third graders. Thank you for all the time you devote to us!! I know it must be hard to juggle work, family and us followers. It is appreciated.

You inspire me! You're such a positive teacher, and you're so determined, dedicated, and happy teaching. It's great to see a teacher who cares. I'm going into teaching after I finish up high school.

A very classy response to the shenanigans of some negative Nellies lately. Many teachers (regardless if they are PS/PS or homeschoolers) have inspired me. I just wish this RUclips venue was out there when I was just starting out and deep in the trenches. Very helpful to have folks who inspire, share and encourage others. Thanks for your channel too! :)

You!!! You inspire me! I watch your videos and use them in my class all the time. I'm a secondary teacher. However, the principles of community and keeping the parents involved are 100% inspired by you. I'm using the popcorn and water idea for my first parent teacher conferences.

Can I just say this might possibly be my favorite vlog you've ever made? Your positive attitude and outlook and bubbly personality are infectious. I hope you know how much we (and I) appreciate the work you put into these videos. I hated school as a kid and really love how special you make school and learning for your students. I feel if I had a teacher like you or more teachers that made me feel like they cared I would have enjoyed school more. You are making a difference, I can tell.

I think at one point in our lives we have a moment and realize that a teacher has made some sort of impact I our lives. At the moment, we don't realize their impact but in the long run it's a moment in time that you cherish. On that note.... I've been watching your channel and I can see the passion and hard work you have put in for your students. I'm glad you're having a great time!

I really love that you have the freedom as a teacher to build community and teach routines/procedures. My district calendars every minute, literally. We had standards the first day of school - no time in our daily schedule (not made by us!) for this. Every teacher does the same thing at the same exact time every day and it's sadly, showing in our yearly progress now. I am hopeful that when we move to Pa. my daughter will find a school that allows teachers to be the professionals they are and do what the students need, like you are doing!

Another person who inspires me is you your so creative, it's amazing how you switched grade levels you did it so smoothly and I've never seen someone work so hard.

Thank you so much for answering my question! I ended up mixing it up too. I think I laid down the routines pretty heavily because I noticed a lot of behavior from a couple of kids, but now I'm focusing on community building too because now that I have expectations built in, it makes it easier for them to stay focused. By Thursday, I will start to weave in math and reading lessons.
It's so true how explaining routines gets lengthy! My voice feels raspy by the end of the day....water! water! water!

great vlog! i'm a 'frustrated teacher', should have been a teacher but I run clubs for kids aged 6 to 11 out of school hours. i love your ideas and you inspire me.. although I don't have the opportunity to do the things you do, you have really helped me, love your vlogs. Also love Ron Clarke, but I'm inspired most by Pastor Bill Wilson of Metro World Child in New York, and historically by Corrie Ten Boon. i think you are an amazing teacher and wish you all the very best for this new academic year. i'm planning on starting my own channel and vlogging how and what I do too, but need the confidence to take the first step! all tips welcome! bless you, Alison
