- Here it is everyone, my 30th trip report! I really lucked out on my flight back to Chicago on New Year's Eve as I got to fly onboard one of Spirit's seven A320neos! This was my first time ever flying onboard one of these newer generation planes and I was beyond impressed. The two flights that I took with Spirit were far better than I expected as I didn't have high hopes for them at first. Considering how great my flights were with them, you can expect to see me back on a Spirit flight in the future :D

I remember I used to work the ramp at Terminal D. Such memories! Also, I worked with the guy that's dancing while the pushback is going on lol.

Some passengers might think the ground crew using their guide sticks as drum sticks is borderline unprofessional...ME, I THINK IT'S FREAKIN' AWESOME, HAHA!!! I could definitely see myself practicing me air drumming if I had that job. Enjoyed the vid as always ;-)
That’s the exact same seat I had from ORD-PUJ on the Frontier Airbus A320. The tray-tables had no room for anything, including the food that we bought in the plane.
Recently traveled on Spirit to the same destinations roundtrip and was very pleased with the experience.
It does low-cost very well and basically covers all the basics that's expected of a safe travel experience.
Good report overall and good "basic service" Spirit.

WOOW!! These all yellow-painted "Spirit" planeslooking great. Espectially the Airbus A320NEO fleet. YEAH!! Very worth your money! You,ve got a very gorgeous seat directly at the huge most modern yellow engine.. VERY GREAT RECORDING-JOB, MATE!!! Besides food and meals do you can buy a small "spirit" model-aircraft too?

The "SPIRIT" Airbus fleet are painted all yellow. I,d like this soo much. These yellow birds will given a very nice contrast to the most white painted airliner fuselage.The set-backs and the tiny tray-table looks very strange. Does "SPIRIT" hasn,t had an inflight-magazine? In my own opinion here in Europe today the No-Frills airline "easyJet (EZY) has a very lovely and timely new orange painted Airbus fleet. EZY too operates the NEO-version.
JetBlue is the only low cost carrier I’ve been on, Embraer 190 between Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale, followed by a Norwegian flight to London Gatwick

Paying for Wi-Fi has nothing to do with spirit being an ULCC. The legacy airlines make you pay for Wi-Fi. Only JetBlue has free Wi-Fi.
