- At long last, welcome to this new trip report for my flight back home! I fly American's 737-800 from New York JFK to Chicago O'Hare. Of course I'm flying in economy, but this time I'm in a "Preferred" seat. What's a "Preferred" seat exactly? Find out in this video!
NOTE: American Airlines only has ONE DAILY FLIGHT between Chicago and New York JFK. However they have many daily flights between Chicago and New York LaGuardia as well as Chicago and Newark, so it's cheaper to fly AA on the ORD-LGA and ORD-EWR routes than it is to fly them on ORD-JFK!

Your 20 minute early arrival at ORD was negated by having to taxi 15-20 minutes around the labyrinth of concrete that is ORD--only time I've flown an AA -800 was from DEN-DFW, 'Sean saves the world'(short-lived NBC sitcom) was featured on the overhead monitor

At the beginning of the video, there was a song that sounds familiar to me but I don't know the song's title and the artist. Does anyone here know? I'm all ears.
I think I took off from 9L on my way out to London. It looks REALLY familiar.
Not likely, for a couple reasons. I think 9L/27R is primarily a landing runway, and it’s only 7500-8000 feet long. Most long haul flights takeoff from 10L/28R, as it’s the longest runway there. The 9/27s are on the north side of the airfield, 10/28s are on the south side.

What tool did you use to show the flight route on the map at the start of the video?
iMovie has a map feature available
I have one question I wish you will help.. I chose F12 seat the same 737-800 and A.A ..do you think it has window or it is between 2 windows.. Also, do I need to pay cash for food , credit or online..It is my first time using A.A..Thanks you and I liked you video.
12F will have a window for sure as far as I know. If you want to get food onboard the flight you will have to pay using credit card since AA sadly doesn't accept cash. Hope this helps!

Protagonist lots of airlines don’t have IFE’s because it will mess with the gps.But when you said AA suck,I agree staff is shit so many delays waste of time and money.

That’s a real disappointment. No seat back entertainment? I understand stand it’s only a hour half flight. But if it was anymore. That’s pretty ridiculous otherwise for the amounts your paying.
