I’ve only been drawing for a few months now but it’s honestly videos like this that have allowed me to improve at a rather accelerated rate. I’m already getting complements from people who have been artists for years and they’re shocked to hear I legit got into drawing a week before Christmas and it’s February now.

Great video with lots of good advice. Personally I find the Factis K20 and CARAN d'ACHE grey Kneadable erasers work very well as they are relatively firm and will hold a point. The Faber Castell is also good but is softer so does not hold a point quite so well. Have tried lots of others but have found these to be the best for me. Hope this is also useful.

Unfortunately I'm not that familiar with those 3 mediums but I will keep it in mind for sure for the future.

@@DragosPepinaArt I meant if hb or 2b or 4 is great for drawing and shading

@@allencampbell1058 Oh, I am really sorry, I thought you meant something else.
Well, HB is the best for sketching, I'd recommend using 2B, 4B, 6B and 8B for shading, each pencil plays an important role for the shading. You can also use only an 2B or 4B for shading and press light or hard to create a certain amount of darkness but you'll never get the darkness of an 8B, that's why I'd recommend to use all of them.
