Former hairdresser, 80s and 90s. I've never commented on a haircut video before but this haircut is perfect on him! Awesome job, you are meant to be doing this.
Nice of you to let him know. ❤
Eloquenter Superhaarschnitt!
I wish I'd met you when my son was a teen. His bowlcut needed you.❤
Great cutj

Audio engineer here! I appreciate the fact that you cleaned up the front part of his hair (line) nicely, as opposed to lining it up. You ultimately enhanced his natural look as opposed to deviating from his original style. Amazing work!
Oh wow that’s awesome! I’m aspiring to be one myself I just got out of high school and I’m looking for paths to lead me to that kind of career, do you have any advice?
Thanks for sharing your career, thats dope!! and I agree! thank you !!
@@nva_str9803 that’s awesome. Congratulations on graduating. I’d start looking at audio engineering programs and the different avenues that you can go into. There’s sound for film, tv, studio work, live sound. Next, you want to lock into whatever program, whether it be an associates or bachelors degree. Then, look into internships while you’re in whatever program you choose. The more experience, the better! Networking is a must as well! Good luck 👍🏽
Rap beat producer here! I don’t have anything to say, just wanted to flex! Good job with the video or something!
@@nva_str9803 congratulations on graduating! I'd start looking into audio tech programs. There's 6 month, associate and bachelor degree programs that you can indulge in. Also, look into internships. Audio engineering has multiple industries. Film, TV, podcasts, live sound and studio audio engineering. Lastly, NETWORK! Good luck 😅
WOW! That worked so well with his thin fine hair. He looks great!
We can see his lovely eyes and that super cute smile.. Great cut.
He's a great looking guy. Now he can get some self esteem and be happier in his life.
He seems like a cool dude, and you made him a waaaay cooler dude!!😊🔥🔥🔥
Very cool young man
He honestly has such a nice smile!! You could see his confidence come out in the end, I love it 🥰
I came here to say that! Great smile.
👍 Agree.
Barbers are magicians. Y’all be working magic on heads.
Not all barbers. mine can back me up on that for sure. 😂
Edward Scissor Hands. ✂️ ❤
Man went from “Who’s online?” to “Hit my line.”
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Oh wow, what a fabulous look!
So impressed with this lovely young fella and so happy he found this great barber, who clearly tries to do his best for his customers. 👏 👏 👏 👏
I love how you blended in the ends. And you really changed his look.❤
Wow that haircut is 100% better! He looks handsome now 👏🏼
Retired Compliance/Information Security Officer - not sure why watching haircuts, razor cuts, barber cuts is so fascinating to me but you nailed this!!
Boy you sure did him a solid, I kNo he appreciates that. It is when you don't have 'gifted' hair that you so need a gifted stylist / barber - a great cut makes ALL the difference. I gotta thank you FOR him!
Interior design / shadow work doula.
Shadow work doula? That sounds fascinating and I'm not even sure what it is. I've been interested in being a death doula and I'm on my journey and know what shadow work is but I can't quite put the 2 together. Is there an easy way to explain it?
@blueclarity The shadow/doula work unfolds through the medium of interior design; think 'art therapy.' The Shadow ('a part of the unconscious mind that contains the qualities, thoughts, and impulses that we deny or disown, often because they are considered unacceptable or taboo by society') is a concept developed by Swiss psychiatrist, psychotherapist and psychologist, Carl Jung. Here are a couple quotes from his work (books he's authored):
"There is no light without shadow and no psychic wholeness without imperfection,"
"Everyone carries a shadow and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life the blacker and denser it is."
'In short, the shadow (in analytical psychology) is the self's emotional blind spot - the part the ego does not want to acknowledge.'
In the context of interior design working with the ego shadow I assist my client to create a space that reflects his/her true self; acknowledging and embracing his/her darker aspects.
Utilizing the elements of design such as bold colors, textures, and patterns that evoke emotions and stimulate self-reflection, I assist my client in his/her development of a well designed space that helps him to confront and integrate the aspects of the shadow self.
The doula aspect to this design-consulting process is really fun, exciting and a unique challenge unto each man or woman I have the opportunity to work together with, or serve. My role is to help 'you', my fellow of mankind, to connect with the higher, soul essence bringing that light to the shadow or the ego self; integrating the ethereal energies with the physical.
I have done work as a death doula also. Any doula service or 'tradition of support' is a highly rewarding path.
Thank you so much for asking! 🙂
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. 🕊🫶💪🪷
Museum educator here. That worked. I could even see him mousing it into a mohawk. Good looking young man. Get some different, cool glasses, too.
He looks like Ralphie Parker from A Christmas Story
THANK YOU! I was thinking the exact same thing!
You’ll 🔫 your eye out kid🤓😅
classic movie
Yeah as a HS Senior
I was thinking Harry Potter, but Ralph Parker looking too.
I love hearing your consultations. You don't sugarcoat, but you make the customer so comfortable talking with you. Direction with intent is what I call it.
Yes bro i wish any of the salons ive been to were this helpful 😭
Awkward nerd, to fly like a bird 🐦
Amazing --- I was really worried during the process, but the result looks great! Nice look for him! 😎
Ohmygosh! This haircut is amazing! I hope he likes it because he looks great -he should be smiling. Great job sir-you gave him the perfect haircut FOR him.
Genius decision on your part, what I truly appreciate is the fact there’s no complicated or timely steps for him, get a shower, wash the hair, comb and go.
Wow!!! That is an amazing transformation!! He looks so good!! I bet he knocked the socks off of every girl who ever thought he looked “nerdy”.
Ok, so he’s not allowed to EVER go anywhere else, to anyone else, ever again!!!!!!! WOW dude looks AMAZING ❣️ Like, you didn’t just give him a cut you gave him a face, he looks 110% more handsome and mature like wow I’m literally amazed. Do you suggest to him to buy some of the powder you used? That really helped too. I’m so impressed, you’re a master of your art!👏👏👏☮️💟
Excellent cut. He looks older, more mature and like he can really handle himself like a little bit of swag!!
I'm retired from the Department of Human Services. His hair looks great.
I'm a therapist. I think you did an amazing job with this young man! So nice to see someone who really listens to their client and is so skillful. I have calf-length hair that hasn't been cut for 40 years, still in good condition. I love to watch others get their hair cut!
Good job! Well suited for his fine, thin hair.
Retired beautician. 😊
Thank you!🙏🏼

Ken, what does that powder actually do? This cut was a work of art - and he loved it! Wish u were here in Australia. Keep up the great work!
As a woman, have always had hair like this young man. When I was young (late teens), I used a similar hairdo. My hair is very thin and soft, not a curl (!), and nothing sticks, unless I use a can of extreme hold hairspray. So about 7-8 years ago, I was DONE using products that strips my hair of the natural softness and vitality, I stopped using perm to have curls, and also stopped using any colouring products. I went for my natural hair, and the only product used, was a tiny bit of Maroccon oil, for light hair, and my hair, and scalp, started to feel better. Still can not have long hair, but a layered short bob works for me.
Now, I really like my own haircolour, and not a grey hair. (I am 62 yrs old) Both of my parents are over 80 yrs old, and neither have grey hairs! Gone genes! 😊
This is pure talent. Love to see the versatility in barbering. This was a really good cut on him. And it’s so good to see a barber taking the time to do a proper consultation to really examine the hair and understand what could possibly look nice on the client. A lot of barbers don’t do that. Big ups to you.
Artist here! He looks so cute, great job! 😊
Yup! Know what this kid's going through 'cuz I have the same type of hair.
Worked as a gardener, so I didn't have time to fuss with it...and hated it growing in my eyes as the haircut grew out, so I just let it grow to shoulder length and wore it in a pony tail.
Main thing, whatever your style or texture of hair, keep it clean!
Wow!! I couldn't even imagine what you were going to be able to do with that stubborn, one directional hair. It turned out fantastic, and he looks so cool and confident with the new cut! Amazing!!
Great transformation there really suits him I love watching you working those magic hands. I am a retired nurse from Scotland UK X
He seems like a really sweet kid. Great look☺️
Daaaaammmn, he looks good! Nice Cut bro!
Appreciate it!
Oh wow.. and he can style it up or to the side. Love it.

Oh my gosh, did you see that smile? His eyes lit up. It was awesome to see his confidence crank up to 11.😊
Retired nurse here in Kansas City. My son went through hair school, i was his model and study buddy too. You are brilliant, sir, you made this guy look totally different and awesome.
That Hair Cuts Going to do wonders . FOR HIM NOW .
My mom was a hairdresser for 40 years. I don't think they taught that technique in 1960s beauty schools...lol! I had no idea where that was going but it landed right on genius!
Wow!!! Absolutely perfect. He looks great!
Magic hands Sir, Well done ❤
Awww, he looked so happy with how you cut his hair! 😊
I refinish furniture and resell that and small home decor items.
You sir are a master. Perfect cut for him.
Worked as a fundraiser for a major university. Love your content and love that you ask what your viewers do! 😊
It's more than "an appropriate".... it's phenomenal. That cut stamped "confident guy" all over his face?
Registered Nurse… love the content, the commentary, and the commitment.
You’re definitely creative ‼️‼️❤️
Great job! His hair looks a lot thicker and textured in this style. It covers up the thin crown and receding hairline.
Impressive very impressive… Very handsome young man, and very becoming style. A true winner!
👍✌️, haircut looks amazing
Thanks!
Perfect cut for him; great job. I work at a grocery store. Love your content
Family physician but when I retire I’m going back to school to learn how to do hair. Love these vids!
I’m a nurse. I cut my teen son’s hair so I’m always watching haircut videos. No real haircut training-thank you for the video 🙏
The texture powder looks to be good stuff, great transformation.... Artist 🎨🖌️
This is just a great cut and transformation!
That was a really dope cut on him, had him feeling swaggy immediately!
A little short in the back but the front is perfection. Retired librarian.
I fell in love with his eyes. Hope he is not battling the depression 'cause they look sad
Server of the Lord Jesus Christ ✝️🔌🙏🕊️🙌💪💯
My favorite one yet
In addition to being one of the best Barber's/ hairstylists, you are also very intelligent.
Marvellous work of art.
Great job with this dudes hair!! Love the content. Im 40 with similar hair. Very thin and flat and I was getting high fades my entire life. I was introduced to a new barber a few years ago... Shout out Chris Vega @ Kalibur Cuts Grand Prairie Texas!! He showed me the mid drop skin fade and it comes out AMAZING every time
Looks much more grown-up. Looks really good on him.
Dude!!! Seriously hot AF!!! My God!!!
Definitely an upgrade. I bet his confidence was up after this cut. Another great job 4!
Yes! Thank you!
Emergency medicine doc in Philly. Fire cut
Looking good, Good looking!
Absolute WOW! He looks so much more mature. I am in the Accounting field, I love your videos and what you do for people.💕
I feel like I was on hold for about 10 minutes.
I’m a 64 year old grandmother and I design adapters for the big AC distributors, Lennox, York , Rheem/Ruud, Carrier. Anywhere from 3 ton to 150 ton. I use AutoCad and have never had a day of Algebra, Trig, Calculus or Geometry.
Really turned out awesome
Haircut is 🔥🔥🔥
I always enjoy watching haircut videos as it's relaxing and I'm also trying to learn it.
I work as a Call Center Agent btw.
Thanks for sharing!!
Dude went from Clark Kent to Superman
Registered Nurse Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner. That was an awesome transformation!
Me: Can you cook?
Him: yes
OMG He started out as an 'awkward nerd' and ended up a fashion victim! I liked his look better before.
I’ve been in retail sales my whole life. Just a mom and a grandma. I have very straight hair and the struggle is real to try and add volume. His cut looks great, I actually liked it better before you started the fade, but that’s just me not being up on what’s hip. 😊
Looks great he looks like a different person.
He looks great!!
He is so cute ❤
One of the best hairdini transformations I’ve seen - 4thKen knows head shapes! Young fella probably felt like a million bucks after!
Awkward nerd is far better!!!
Total transformation. 😊
I am a hospice nurse. I like to watch your creativeness and explanations. It relaxes me.
Data analyst for UK NHS. your videos are so calming to watch & fascinating. He looked so good after
I can honestly say, I have never seen, or heard a Barber/Stylist talk about wanting to help, or guide a client to a style that they may like for their type of hair! Maybe it's just my area of the country, idk, but nobody cares here. They barely even listen to the client for just a trim. If more people where like you, I think more people would go!
I'm a retired bookkeeper, but now I have a part time job at a beauty supply store - which I just love. Many of our customers are barbers, who come in for clippers and trimmers. We all learn from each other.
He looks good!
The guy's hair looked great. I was suprised and happy for him, The barber was at first a bit depressing telling him how thin his hair was etc, I really expected the guy to just leave and go to someone else.
lol Yeah, my hairdresser was unhappy with how my hair had become thin since I first started going to her about 20 years ago. I'm 77 and not very grey, so I don't think it was my fault. I just needed it cut differenty.
best barber ever, you are a 4d barber
thank you for the props ! i wish
4dKen has a nice ring to it tbh
Awkward nerd ????? He looked fine to me. Also the result is fine too.
Looks great!
Dude's hair is 🔥
I am an artist and so are you! I love watching transformations that build the self confidence and self image. Great job!
He looks so much more grown up now. Great job finding something that works with his fine hair texture.
I still think it should be longer in the back, other than that 👏 ❤ great job.
I was thinking the same, but then thought he won't need another haircut for months!
Rawe! Amazing mahi (work). I'm a conference project manager in New Zealand | Aotearoa.
