Kyle Hi, I don't have the opportunity to buy leather on the shamisen. I'm going to the dhow to glue a piece of wood like on gottan. At the back I will also make a hole for resonance only in the middle. Is this a good idea, will it sound like a shamisen?@@TsugaruShamisen
@@Sherium_ Cool! If you put wood on it, it will sound like a gottan. :) I'm sure there's several videos of gottan being played, so it'd be worth checking them out. Most likely, yours would sound like it. Gottan are very cool. Doesn't sound exactly like shamisen, but they all sound nice. :)
