you dont need to override a file, when you press "new recording " and select the audio file, when it asks you to save, you can make a new file just by choosing where and typing in the name.

Maybe go to windowed mode, and make the game screen smaller. Also, try turning down graphics settings, and if you have a laptop, plug it into power! Hope it helps!!
its just that your computer isnt strong enough to handle the physics bones. All you have to do is go into the left pannel and find the "physics bones" option and turn it off

In the latest build, testing movements was temporarily removed, i think it should work once u start recording
