  • They are all negative. each one of them.
    I don't choose negativity.
    I choose an abundance mindset.
So i cut negative actions out of my life.
just 1 man's opinion but it has served me well

Hi! my name is Evan and I'm super stoked you want to learn more about me!
I show people how to build their businesses. I learn a skill, test it with my own companies and share it!
I got my start by selling CDs at 13 years old. I’ve worked as a fry cook, I’ve mowed lawns, built go-peds, managed restaurants, sold mortgages, worked in Hollywood, and sat at a desk. I’ve cold-called, done graphic design, pounded pavement, traded crypto, and worked on an ambulance.
I finally settled down and devoted my life to becoming a firefighter in my early 20’s. It took me 5 years of training, fire academies, and paramedic school to finally land that job.
I spent 8 years of my life answering 911 calls. Now I get to pursue my real passion, which is building businesses and educating.
My first successful company is called Scorch Marker.
I was building a commemorative plaque for the fire department in my woodshop and desperately wanted to burn our motto “together in, together out” into the wood. So I pulled out my wood-burning tool, plugged it into the wall, and screwed the whole thing up!
But my wife and I had found another way. We created a chemical solution that reacts with heat. We were inspired by RUclips creators! You apply the liquid to wood, apply heat, and the wood burns only where you drew! Pretty cool right? We invented the world’s first wood-burning marker - Scorch Marker.
Little did we know that this was the beginning of something big. We agreed to spend $500 of our savings to see if we could turn the idea into a product. 2 years later and we got into retail, became a bestseller on Amazon, created jobs, and made a lot of mistakes.
It’s the mistakes that are important. Those are the valuable, teachable moments that doers get to enjoy and learn from. They make you stronger.
Building, maintaining, scaling, running, or managing a business is not easy. But it can be done!
That's why I'm here. To teach what I've learned so you don't have to make the same mistakes that I did!
One of the things I feel I was put on this planet for is teaching. I absolutely love connecting with other humans who want to do what I've done, build a DTC company.
That's why I built my personal brand Vanader. I test the things I'm learning with Scorch Marker, make the mistakes, lose the money, succeed then I teach it.
It keeps me sharp, keeps me progressing and most importantly it help me make friends in the space.
Can't wait to hear from you!
    Evan

What if you are complaining because you are hurting and need help?

Resist not evil with evil but resist evil with good. To get to a higher level of our existence, we have to have grace with the imperfection we see around us because then we can ask for help from that or those that are higher than us. That level only helps the humble. If we are not humble to others, then it won't be humble to us.

my psychologist says it is good to complain every once in a while and share the burdain of how you feel, it is comforting. But not when it happens every single day.

I agree that complaining is not gonna help much, except to vent your frustrations - which can be good in healthy doses. But I also think that if for example the politicians decide to set the national tax level too high for people to lead a meaningful life in order to fund "something else", it's fair to complain. If you don't complain, but rather just run away to a different country for example, it might work for you personally, but if enough people complain, it usually leads to positive change. Complaining turned into action can be a positive thing, basically what true democracy is about. We don't have true democracy, but we can still apply pressure for important change.

Complaining is healthy. It vents frustration. There's too much toxic positivity bullshit around. Keep an open mind for learning about other people's situations too, but don't forget your own needs.
I used to think like you, but boy was I wrong.
You should do whatever feels right for you, but I can tell you forcing positivity and denying yourself basic human urges like complaining and venting will eat you alive like a cancer eventually.

You can care for yourself without complaining

Nah 99% of the time there's no point in complaining if it's against another person, if you have a valid point to make you can bring it up but that's not necessarily complaining. Complaining is mostly a state of mind where YOU are annoyed, and this means you're the only one losing out on it.
Same with getting angry, most of the times there's no point or really any proper reason.
Do it when it's really appropriate sure but don't do it all the time cause it helps nothing really. Just chill, you'll be happier.

    • @TheBontekraai
      @TheBontekraai 7 месяцев назад

there doesn't have to be point, or a reason.
We aren't robots, that's not how emotions work.
if you feel angry, feel angry.
if you need to cry, cry.
if you need to complain, complain.
don't do it in a destructive way, against others but that speaks for itself.
find a safe space or moment to do it.
people are so hellbent on being positive all the time and being the best versions of themselves.
you can't have positivity without negativity,
they are two sides of the same coin.
and if you think otherwise you are lying to yourself and thus hurting yourself.
after you have vented, and felt expressed the emotions that are in our HUMAN nature,
solutions to your problems will more likely present themselves.

      Well said.
Also, giving people the opportunity to vent can shed light on information necessary to solve a problem.
If people are self censoring to appear positive, the full information is hidden and can end up being detrimental.
As long as complaining comes with the attempt to solve, there’s nothing wrong with it!

If you don't know who to complain to about an injustice against you then accept you are screwed..otherwise find out who you can get a fair hearing to help possible fix the problem you are experiencing..you are not a door mat. Agreed just emotional complaining about things that don't directly affect you is waste of emotional energy. Don't be a Karren. In other words no complaining no explaining.
