Thanks Corrie. I have been thinking about this so your thought have been a big help. As so often with these things it is definitely not an either or situation. Running both should mean if there are changes in one you still have the other until the one with the changes can be sorted out.
Glad it was helpful! I agree 100%. I am all about diversification because putting all your eggs in one basket can be a dangerous practice, especially where online business is concerned since you're almost always relying on a third party to bring you views and income, whether that's Google, Medium, or social media! And they can disappear or change the rules at the drop of a hat, and your only recourse is to adapt.
Very insightful. I am wondering : is it possible to write a blog post and either duplicate it on Medium, or, say, write an abbreviated version for Medium?
Absolutely - Medium is a great place to syndicate content. In fact I have a whole video about how to repurpose your content: ruclips.net/video/DmvagqFGVCU/видео.html
Hello again - earnings are not based on views or reads, but on member reading time. You get a cut of their monthly fee based on how much time they spent reading your work. So it's very hard to estimate. However, I would say $100 *roughly* equates to around 2-3k internal views.

@@CorrieWhoBlogs Having all your eggs in one basket does mean that you run the danger of a 12 egg omelette. Never a good thing.

Which one is better Blog vs medium ???
Awesome video. May I ask what are benefits of paying $5 per month on Medium vs free?
The membership fee allows you to publish your stories behind a paywall and access all of Medium's stories by other authors.
Hi Corrie I have one question, May I know How many views and reads to get 100$ on medium?
