Is that cody ko or Nic Cage in your profile picture? Maybe its neither lol. Also yeah, Alex's awkwardness is a part of his charm, same goes for Richard Ayoade too...idk why a lot of people don't like awkwardness, its cool tbh
people are never happy.. they used to complain about alex being awkward (i think it's extremely cute) and now they complain about him being a douchebag and overconfident (i think he's soo cool) .. poor alex. also, looks like he didn't have a happy childhood:(
It really makes me feel better about my speech skills seeing someone as famous as Alex Turner being awkward. I had a really bad day in class with giving a practice presentation because I got so nervous and it made everything awkward.
I first heard Stuck on the Puzzle in my first month or so of getting into AM and got obsessed with it very quickly, like I did with the band. Not long after, I found the rest of the soundtrack and saw that it was featured in a film: I grew up watching The Mighty Boosh and The IT Crowd, so hearing that Alex's beautiful songs were made for/featured in a film by Richard Ayoade made me desperate to see it. Last week, just scrolling through Netflix, I saw that it was being added and was so excited; I watched it today and found it thoroughly entertaining, with fantastic cinematography, great acting, and interesting storyline and, of course, a gorgeous soundtrack. I was a little disappointed about the lack of Stuck on the Puzzle in full, though, hehe. The intro version is brilliant, though, so at least that was featured. I'd love to know more about what Alex thought about it, how he composed the soundtrack, any inspirations, scrapped song ideas, etc, but this snippet was great. 😊
I think near the end when he was beginning to get more hesitant it was probably because one of his tunes was coming on. And that would be pretty off putting. "Oh shit, my voice is about to come on any second now"
about the question about his girlfriend, he is like he has a lot to say at that moment but just doesn't choose to say it and that bittersweet look on his face is the perfect summary of his style of music.
Wee, alex se saco de onda, mas aparte que estaba escuchando sus propias canciones JAJA creo que aun esta ese alex del 2006 muy dentro de el...es tan lindo y misterioso
Alex is doing his best with an awkward interviewer! "What did you love about the book so much?" Wtf?? Haha Love the soundtrack and its nice to hear him talk about it (:
is funny how in the lyrics of his songs he's so eloquent and can describe anything, knowing exactly which word he'll use, but when it comes to interviews he's so awkward and actually looks like a 3rd grader when speaking
Its probably pretty weird doing an interview whilst you can hear yourself singing in the background.
lmao
Oliver Lewis omg yes 😂 same thought!
he's not being awkward, he's just listening to the music. he's so fucking awesome
His eyes.... Are so beautiful omg
It's an overload of sexiness and cuteness at the same time I can't even!!!
salu
thisismusic damn dude that's smooth
he's so charming and the entire soundtrack absolutely captivated me from the first time i listened to it, it's magical. thank you Mr. Turner
stook on me poozle
save me that's funny as fuck
😂
🔥😂
When he was asked the childhood question he seemed embarrassed or awkward about it because he was still akward
This is about the time he broke up with his girlfriend of four years... probably why he doesn't want to talk about romance lol
hard to get around the wind is a masterpiece
you are
Can't stop looking at his eyes
i love alex hes great and i dont think the awkwardness is bad at all!

With the childhood question, looks like it hit right in the feels
He just seems like such a nice guy!
Got the sense that's the girl "and I crumbled completely when you cried".

Aww he’s remembering his childhood

Wow he really was stumped by the childhood question!
you can totally tell he's lost in his own music. :)
