The fact that Mike Schmidt from the fnaf movie won was not just hilarious but gave me joy is crazy to me, and also he deserved it for sure way more than M3GAN did
(Minor spoilers for the winner) I know it's mentioned at the end of the episode, but I just find it so funny that every winner has had a new movie come out the year of the episode. Halloween Ends, Orphan: First Kill, M3GAN, and then the one from this episode. Also, every time James mentioned FNAF in that way cracked me up. It's cool that horror makes money even if the movie is just whatever.
The reason why all girls alliances never work is because the black widow brigade ran the show in Micronesia and ever since every player has been so terrified of the idea that the second somebody thinks an all girls alliance is forming they just vote off everyone involved. So the TLDR: it worked once and no one is going to let it happen again.
I haven't watched Survivor but it's a similar thing in Big Brother the all girls Alliances seem to always fall apart I don't know what it is just never make it to the end without turning on each other
The fact that Mike Schmidt from FNAF, a TOTALLY NORMAL DUDE SURROUNDED BY GOD DAMN SUPERNATURAL BEINGS, wins Horror Survivor is just insane. It's just straight up Protagonist Energy within a Pathetic Dude. But it is actually worth it because the dude can endure HORRORS due to the fact that he survived seven nights with highly deadly animatronics.
I rewatched all the other horror survivors in excited preparation for this. I have to say I think this is the best season yet, best series on the channel

I watched eight full movies so that I could see all of the characters in their respective films for this episode. Worth every second! I can't wait to see what movies I'll need to watch to be filled in for Horror Survivor 5!
@@DeadMeat I watched FNAF starring Josh as Mike Schmidt who lost his younger brother (spike camera), Bloody Birthday, The Passenger, The Crow, Christmas Evil, Christine, Pee-wee's Big Adventure, and The Little shop of horrors in that order. A very eclectic mix and all a fun watch in their own right. Unlike Paul, I still don't like musicals even though I recognize LSoH is a great movie. Having been a huge fan of the podcast, I felt it was only right to watch the entirety of Pee-Wee's movie despite Large Marge's small contribution, for Chelsea's sake. Also, as a huge fan of INK, watching The Crow felt necessary. I'm ready to watch movies for any of the characters in the Royal Rumble in January. Now just imagine me saying, generic, overly enthusiastic, loving, and kind words that you responded to my comment. I would be happy to discuss or comment my thoughts on all of the movies further, but this doesn't feel like the place and I'm sure you get enough of that.

From the ear worm of a main theme still playing in my head, to the just madcap and non sequitur nature of of the whole movie, it was a wild ride all the way throughout. Favorite moment was "I remember... The Alamo?" Followed by an outburst of wild cheering. Hahah, I had to rewatch that scene like 4 times. More sincerely than my last comment, I stumbled across this channel a bit over a year ago and as life permits, have been watching movies just to listen to your podcast episodes, starting back all the way with Phantasm and Wishmaster. The amount of effort Chelsea has put into it is insane and I love the deep dives like for example when "His House" and "Creepy kids" became two episodes because oh her inquisitiveness and need for context. I'll stop myself there, don't want to keep you too long. One last request though if possible from Chelsea.. As a fellow Danganronpa obsessive, any game recommendations? and not this episode, but James, I loved hearing you also super enjoyed Return of the Obra Dinn. One of my all time favorites.
I definitely think Shorty would have lead the win in the challenge with the cage, balls, and baskets. He's able to jump super high in the movie, which negates the height disadvantage, and his accuracy is shown to be good, too, after punching that biker's head off and having it land dead center in the trash can. Justice for Shorty, and great video as always, y'all! 👏
Wow! That ending was unexpected! I honestly didn't expect half of what happened in the entire session to occur, but it did and holy moly was it highly entertaining! Not only our FIRST EVAC - but alongside with the first ever MURDER of a contestant! Breaking Jeff Probst's #1 Rule of Horror Survivor! Compared to previous winners, Mike came out of nowhere! He wasn't even like Micheal Myers kind of out of nowhere - where it made sense for his character and he started to build up traction as time went along - I fully was expecting Alice to go win the gold due to her getting a lot of attention near the end and how strategic she was playing! Alice was robbed and I hope returns like Amanda Young did, she needs a second chance after getting runner-up to Mike Schmidt from FNAF! Loved every second of it, found this recently and was super hyped when I saw the community board post just after I watched the third episode! Can't wait for the 5th installment whenever it comes out! (Also, even though I don't think you'll read this, Ellen Ripley would be awesome, so would the Xenomorph if applicable! Love your content!)
Maybe this is me, but since I was a kid, I always thought some of the dinner guests were killed by Beetlejuice. The two that were shot through the ceiling and the one who wants to steal the book, right? I don't think we see any of them again.

Hoffman getting immediately medevac'd for a concussion was the funniest thing that could have happened considering that this is the man who ripped his face out of a RBT, lay in a coffin full of broken glass and pulled the trigger of a gun aimed directly at his face and a head bonk is what took him out?? Kinda want a return of Amanda and Hoffman for the same season of Horror Survivor considering their relationship

Also for James and Chelsea - an all girls alliance did actually work in the first Fans Vs Favorites season (Season 16) which also happens to be one of my favorite seasons in all of Survivor - highly recommend
One thing y’all forgot to factor in is all the undead contestants don’t need to breathe so can stay underwater as long as needed. Also, both Toxie and Eric have low grade super strength. Still look forward to these every time. Chelsea does a great job!
I'm a huge fan of FNaF fan and was routing for Mike even though I thought he would be a early vote out and I stood up yell "Yessssssssss" when Mike won this is hands down my favorite horror survivor ep and I hope you guys will have more FNaF characters on the show. Also according to very popular theories you play as Mike in the first, second, and third FNaF games and he is heavily theorized to be William Afton's son in the games
Hoffman has to return in the future, his whole thing is surviving situations! Beetlejuice also deserves a return, he was making moves and I think his cunningness was underplayed. This was the most bizarre season haha
An epic horror movie survivor season (I know Mike's family member brought in would probs be his sister but I think it would be so fucking funny if it was just the Freddy animatronic lol) Anyways I love this series and have such a mad respect for y'all continueing to do this. I do think y'all underplayed Mikes game a little. In the start he made a quick good connection with someone and quickly put himself in the swing vote state, basically allowing himself to pick who he wanted in and out. Then sunk under radar for most if the game yet was able to meld really well with a lot of other players and never made a target for himself. And then when it got into the end he kept a great bind with Seymour which got him into the final 3 and then won because of the connections he made. While he wasn't always player one in the game he was a steady player 2
YES! HOLIDAYS CAME EARLY! I also nominate Chef Slovik for a season as I’m sure he’d be a Rupert from Pearl Islands type who wouldn’t let anyone else use the equipment because they’d use it incorrectly and he HAS to show that it’s those who do the peoples job deserve to be there (but you know… not better than him at it) while also possibly trying to start an alliance which may devolve quickly and become cult like. Another fun character would be Aunt Martha from Sleepaway Camp who I see as a total Debbie from Kaoh Rang. When isn’t having a doctor on your tribe convenient? She’d also cook at camp. She’d make rice… the WHOLE bag! I am SO glad this episode we got a medievac (Hoffinator HAS to return for a second chance) and reward for a trip to the sanctuary “where good things happen”. I led love to see more of these wacky random events. They always make the best moments.
One thing, in Jennifer’s Body didn’t she need to feed or she would get weaker and weaker? Like right after she turned in the movie she tried to raid Needys fridge because of how weak she was. That could have been a cool factor in this as well. Either way, great episode! Can’t wait for the next one!
She also will kill girls if need be. She only killed boys because it was easier to manipulate and feed on them. She doesn't have a female solidarity rule or anything 😂. Do you think they would actually just kick her out because much like Shorty she wants to eat everybody?
Chelsea. Please make a CAST twist. The best idea I can think of is Blood v Water. Get two characters from the same franchise, more specifically duos/friends. The best way to do that when picking, is have different colored paper. Eg: two red paper, one is Billy Loomis and the second is Stu, so James and Chelsea each pick a red colored paper. Split the duos up one on each tribe. This will make the game fun with dynamics for exciting roleplay moments :D -Mac E.
So, the giant cage challenge, they overlooked the pros of Oogie Boogie. Being boneless, he can squeeze like an octopus. Also, in his lair are all sorts of games. I feel Oogie could have done well at shooting the balls too.
They do a rly good job RPing out possibilities for the characters and possible alliances, but it always sucks when ideas slip through the cracks 😭 absolutely love these vids man, I get so invested

From the ear worm of a main theme still playing in my head, to the just madcap and non sequitur nature of of the whole movie, it was a wild ride all the way throughout. Favorite moment was "I remember... The Alamo?" Followed by an outburst of wild cheering. Hahah, I had to rewatch that scene like 4 times.
More sincerely than my last comment, I stumbled across this channel a bit over a year ago and as life permits, have been watching movies just to listen to your podcast episodes, starting back all the way with Phantasm and Wishmaster. The amount of effort Chelsea has put into it is insane and I love the deep dives like for example when "His House" and "Creepy kids" became two episodes because oh her inquisitiveness and need for context. I'll stop myself there, don't want to keep you too long. One last request though if possible from Chelsea.. As a fellow Danganronpa obsessive, any game recommendations? and not this episode, but James, I loved hearing you also super enjoyed Return of the Obra Dinn. One of my all time favorites.

I definitely think Shorty would have lead the win in the challenge with the cage, balls, and baskets. He's able to jump super high in the movie, which negates the height disadvantage, and his accuracy is shown to be good, too, after punching that biker's head off and having it land dead center in the trash can. Justice for Shorty, and great video as always, y'all! 👏
I personally feel like Shorty and Curtis should have had an alliance since they’re both tiny menaces, Justice for Shorty!!

Compared to previous winners, Mike came out of nowhere! He wasn't even like Micheal Myers kind of out of nowhere - where it made sense for his character and he started to build up traction as time went along - I fully was expecting Alice to go win the gold due to her getting a lot of attention near the end and how strategic she was playing! Alice was robbed and I hope returns like Amanda Young did, she needs a second chance after getting runner-up to Mike Schmidt from FNAF!
Loved every second of it, found this recently and was super hyped when I saw the community board post just after I watched the third episode! Can't wait for the 5th installment whenever it comes out!
(Also, even though I don't think you'll read this, Ellen Ripley would be awesome, so would the Xenomorph if applicable! Love your content!)

Also for James and Chelsea - an all girls alliance did actually work in the first Fans Vs Favorites season (Season 16) which also happens to be one of my favorite seasons in all of Survivor - highly recommend

One thing y’all forgot to factor in is all the undead contestants don’t need to breathe so can stay underwater as long as needed. Also, both Toxie and Eric have low grade super strength. Still look forward to these every time. Chelsea does a great job!

I'm a huge fan of FNaF fan and was routing for Mike even though I thought he would be a early vote out and I stood up yell "Yessssssssss" when Mike won this is hands down my favorite horror survivor ep and I hope you guys will have more FNaF characters on the show. Also according to very popular theories you play as Mike in the first, second, and third FNaF games and he is heavily theorized to be William Afton's son in the games
Hoffman has to return in the future, his whole thing is surviving situations! Beetlejuice also deserves a return, he was making moves and I think his cunningness was underplayed. This was the most bizarre season haha

I do think y'all underplayed Mikes game a little. In the start he made a quick good connection with someone and quickly put himself in the swing vote state, basically allowing himself to pick who he wanted in and out. Then sunk under radar for most if the game yet was able to meld really well with a lot of other players and never made a target for himself. And then when it got into the end he kept a great bind with Seymour which got him into the final 3 and then won because of the connections he made. While he wasn't always player one in the game he was a steady player 2
So, someone needs to tell Sam Reich of Dropout does another Survior ep Chelsea and James need to be there. 😃

I also nominate Chef Slovik for a season as I’m sure he’d be a Rupert from Pearl Islands type who wouldn’t let anyone else use the equipment because they’d use it incorrectly and he HAS to show that it’s those who do the peoples job deserve to be there (but you know… not better than him at it) while also possibly trying to start an alliance which may devolve quickly and become cult like.
Another fun character would be Aunt Martha from Sleepaway Camp who I see as a total Debbie from Kaoh Rang. When isn’t having a doctor on your tribe convenient? She’d also cook at camp. She’d make rice… the WHOLE bag!
I am SO glad this episode we got a medievac (Hoffinator HAS to return for a second chance) and reward for a trip to the sanctuary “where good things happen”. I led love to see more of these wacky random events. They always make the best moments.
One thing, in Jennifer’s Body didn’t she need to feed or she would get weaker and weaker? Like right after she turned in the movie she tried to raid Needys fridge because of how weak she was. That could have been a cool factor in this as well. Either way, great episode! Can’t wait for the next one!
She also will kill girls if need be. She only killed boys because it was easier to manipulate and feed on them. She doesn't have a female solidarity rule or anything 😂. Do you think they would actually just kick her out because much like Shorty she wants to eat everybody?

Chelsea. Please make a CAST twist. The best idea I can think of is Blood v Water. Get two characters from the same franchise, more specifically duos/friends.
The best way to do that when picking, is have different colored paper. Eg: two red paper, one is Billy Loomis and the second is Stu, so James and Chelsea each pick a red colored paper. Split the duos up one on each tribe.
This will make the game fun with dynamics for exciting roleplay moments :D

So, the giant cage challenge, they overlooked the pros of Oogie Boogie. Being boneless, he can squeeze like an octopus. Also, in his lair are all sorts of games. I feel Oogie could have done well at shooting the balls too.
They do a rly good job RPing out possibilities for the characters and possible alliances, but it always sucks when ideas slip through the cracks 😭 absolutely love these vids man, I get so invested

They aren't realizing Jennifer isn't for the girls either lol. Shorty though I do think isn't really an issue. He wants to eat everyone, yes, but personality wise he's the nicest clown of the bunch and is only shown to kill when provoked or for food.

I haven't seen Jennifer's body so I couldn't judge that, but Shorty is using clown gags in challenges. Life the boat challenge he drinks that water with a curly straw and fills his head up like a carnival game before using a gag flower to spit it out
