I honestly don’t know who would win this fight, Goku and Vegeta weren’t THAT much stronger than Teen Gohan in the Buu Saga and on top of that Gohan’s Ability to make rapid gains in power is unrivaled so it wouldn’t take him long to close the gap especially if he’s angry enough.

@@Marconel100 Not even close. According to Piccolo Majin Vegeta's power was only slightly above cell games Gohan, so it'd be a close fight either way. Without the power boost he got from becoming Majin, SS2 Vegeta is probably still weaker than cell games Gohan, or equal at best.
@@blackstar-sam8924 If this were to occur I expect the match to be exactly as Goku vs Majin Vegeta because Vegeta back in the Cell Saga wouldn't have that much power in store. At the time he could not have gotten used to SSJ Grade 4 or Mastered SSJ so Vegeta would be at a disadvantage.

No Vegeta would have won because gohan became ssj2 over Rage, Vegeta became SSJ2 over the control of Bobity. So in all technicality, a ssj3 majin vegeta would rival the power of Kidd buu, while SSJ3 Gohan would equal a regular majin vegeta, not ssj2 majin vegeta, just regular majin vegeta.

Never mind the timing of this hypothetical fight in the series' timeline. As soon as a fight becomes emotionally loaded, and Gohan's loved ones are at real danger of dying, then and only then does Gohan reveal the fighter he really is. But in a straight up battle to see who's the strongest, Vegeta is a much more capable warrior and wins without breaking much of a sweat. Because he'd go straight for a win. Gohan doesn't like fighting, even if he is good at it.

Goku after dying struggled with sustaining it so gohan at 10 years old would have even more trouble. Majin vegeta is his own power plus a boost so chances are he'd be able to use it more than gohan
Vegeta wins, no problem. He would trash Cell, even Super Perfect. Considering that, and that he fought nearly on par with Fat Buu, Teen Gohan wouldn't stand a chance. But don't forget that Mystic Gohan would tear Vegeta in half with one punch.

Hawt Dawg Not really, Goku wasn't actually there still he needed full motivation and rage to boost his power to defeat Cell which dind't look like he was giving it his all and Vegeta had to step in, but yeah you're right Vegeta could just bitch slap the soul out of Gohan without even trying, they at that point are on a whole new nevel and it was 7 years and we all know 1 year in DBZ is already enough to get strong as hell.

B4 I'm accused as a fanboy, I'm going to give evidence as to why I think Gohan would beat Majin Vegeta. A lot of people use the Vegeta quote of "At least your stronger than your son was against cell." That is Vegeta talking. First off, Vegeta hasn't been accurate with strength comparison, ESPECIALLY Piccolo (I'll explain why I mention him). For example, Vegeta still thought he could kick Perfect Cell's ass, but look what happened. It was both his own pride and the fact that he doesn't realize when someone is suppressing power. So the statement Vegeta made is probably not really going to be accurate. So here is why I mention piccolo. When he witnessed Vegeta, he said "The last time I felt a power like this is when Gohan fought Cell." So they are in a close range when u compare Gohan HOLDING BACK as SSJ2 to Majin Vegeta powering up to the max against Buu. And don't tell me Vegeta was holding back. He was going on a rampage against Buu. And although Piccolo is smart in sensing power, nobody except for Gohan himself knew how far he can go (Unless u count him with a broken arm and Goku coaching him from the dead). I'm talking about a full health Gohan and full health Vegeta. And to take it even further, Gohan will get angrier with Vegeta's evil side than he would with Cell. This is because Gohan knew Vegeta longer and Gohan never really liked Vegeta that much. He only knew Cell in person for that one day. And Gohan getting angrier would get him more powerful. The most anyone sensed from Gohan was one that toyed with Cell, not even trying, or the explosive wave he did on the Cell Jrs, which was effortless to him. The only evidence someone could really have towards Vegeta being stronger is that quote he made, which I already proved to most likely invalid. Gohan wins, and I gave actual evidence, so don't call me fanboy, I'm not calling anyone a Vegeta fanboy.

Gohan achieved SSJ2 purely by anger and never managed to do that again, not even when he see Supreme Kai got humiliated by Buu. While Vegeta had attained SSJ2 by himself as shown that he had full control over it when fighting Goku and later on. 2. Dabura was said by Goku to be the equivalent of Cell in strength yet Vegeta continued mocking his power level. 3. The point you mentioned, Vegeta said that Goku is stronger than Gohan against Cell, there is no point for him to bullshit it to Goku. 4. Vegeta is clearly way above Teen Gohan in term of tricks, skills and fighting experience. 5. Majin Vegeta is SSJ2 Vegeta with a huge boost.

2. SSJ2 Goku and Majin Vegeta were fairly even.
3. Vegeta trained for 7yrs straight, meaning his instincts, reflexes, and conditioning are all tuned, plus he has much greater experience.
4. Your argument that Vegeta had Babidi's help to reach that level means nothing and clearly shows bias against Vegeta.
5. Rage was merely the catalyst that turned him SSJ2, besides you wanna play it that way, then Vegeta with a rage boost surpassed Goku in the new movie, but it wasn't in the manga, so I wouldn't consider it canon. It still makes your argument null as AT worked on the movie.
6. All Saiyans seem to get more potent when they're enraged, just because Gohan has more potential doesn't mean anything, we're comparing them at fixed states, not Majin Vegeta vs SSJ2 Teen Gohan with the potential to reach his Mystic form. That wouldn't exactly be SSJ2 Teen Gohan now would it?
7. What evidence do you have to support that Gohan could've been stronger against Cell? Besides, he defeated him wounded with the help of Vegeta, not on his own. Even if he could've been more powerful, by how much, 5%, 50%? You have 0 basis for this.

As a gohan fan I want to say gohan would win so badly. But I have to remember. Vegeta is a Sayian prince and warrior. He has a lot more fighting experience then gohan. And gohan never really liked fighting to begin with. But gohans rage and anger gave him power above what most had at similar levels. I feel like this fight is way too close to predict who would win it. I give gohan the very slight edge due to his rage giving him so much power. But majin vegeta would definatly make it a tough fight! Again I'm just a gohan fan so it's just my opinion. Vegeta did hold his own against a ssj2 goku who could of easily went ssj3.

Whether Vegeta or Gohan wins depends on whether or not Gohan decided in this what if to keep training during the 7 years. If so then he'd be a strong match up by far if not the definite winner.
But it's TEEN Gohan, not adult Gohan. Meaning he would as strong as he was at the end of the Cell Saga/Bojack Movie. Majin Vegeta not only is now on the same level of ssj2, but does have that 7 year training boost. So it is likely for Majin Vegeta to win.

Cool music. As for the fight, Gohan would be a tough customer, but in the end a battered, bruised Vegeta would emerge victorious by dint of having more experience with SSJ2. Remember that Adult Gohan let himself grow weaker, so Teen Gohan would be considerably stronger than the Gohan who got rekt by Buu and should be closer to Goku SSJ2.
Both holding nothing back? I'd edge it to Gohan, but one could easily edge it to Vegeta. My gosh though, that would be a fight to witness. I consider Majin Vegeta and Kid Gohan to be within 5% of each other power level wise.
It'd be a hell of a fight, however vegeta at the point of being Majin vegeta was leagues above both gohan and cells powerlevels, Hell goku could go SSJ3 and still didn't have the power to beat him outright (granted he was holding back but still) Vegeta would need to hold back alot to make this a really good fight, otherwise im pretty sure he would win outright
According to Piccolo, Majin Vegeta's power was 'perhaps' above cell games Gohan, keyword being perhaps. So take that into account when saying that Vegeta could easily beat Gohan.
Gohan could put up somewhat of a decent fight, but he really wouldn't stand a chance against Majin Vegeta. Vegeta in his SS1 form considers Dabura to be a joke in the Buu Saga, although he would have been bad news before in the Cell Saga. His SS1 form would be stronger than SS1 Teen Gohan, so naturally his SS2 form would be stronger, and this is Majin Vegeta who is even stronger and is on par with SS2 Goku.

+James Cook the way I see it is that the fusions have a dominant person, or rather being a mirror to them, goku - gogeta, vegeta - vegito, and we all know that vegeta is naturally stronger than goku, but goku always came on top for certain reasons, so I'd say that would apply to gogeta and vegito, vegito is stronger but I believe gogeta has the potential of becoming stronger than vegito with training. After all, dominant person, their attributes, thus being like them, if not exactly like them.

This is what annoyed Vegeta in the first place, that gohan spent all his time studying and neglected the strength he apparently "effortlessly" gained to surpass vegeta, which seemed like an insult to him.

+rtg1121 Gohan only surprises me at how much he fails at everything. If it weren't for everyone else, Gohan would have died all long time ago. If you're talking about Gohan's anger and hidden potential, well it still wouldn't work. When Gohan transformed into Super Saiyan 2 against Cell he unlocked his potential for that age so he wouldn't get a rage boost nor would he have the power or skill to match Super Saiyan 2 Majin Vegeta.

I do like Teen Gohan, but he really doesn't stand a chance here, not anymore. SS2 Vegeta is significantly stronger now, and had 7 years to train on top of that. He's not world's above Gohan and Gohan could hold his own somewhat, but he's still weaker than Vegeta here.

Majin Vegeta is completely emotional, fueling his pride, but SSJ2 Teen Gohan actually gets a personality shift from being all nice, kind, non-vio to a hard core fighter with nothing to lose. He wasn't just more powerful than cell, he was toying with him. Even after cell came back with almost double the power, a weakened Gohan still managed to erase him out with all his strength into one single Ka-Me-Ha-Me-Ha. This is just one instance. Another instance was a 5 year old Gohan holding his own against Final Freiza. This already proves Gohan ain't losing. Besides, Majin Vegeta can also burst in power and get stronger, but there is a hard chance he would win against a fully raged SSJ2 Teen Gohan.
@@nocopyrightgameplaystockvi231 In the manga or anime? Because Gohan never held his own against Final Form Frieza in the manga. He did in the anime, but that was non canon really. SS2 Gohan did have some help from Vegeta, which was absolutely needed, since Gohan would have been destroyed if Vegeta did not interfere. Gohan did become kind of arrogant, like Vegeta, when the power went to his head. Vegeta does have his arrogance and Gohan does receive big boosts of rage, even if it doesn't last long.
He's not world's above Gohan, but he would still be significantly stronger than him and only have real trouble if Gohan raged.
