Lichen is real, the ones you have in the bag are dried and dyed but it's a real living thing kinda like a plant. It often grows on trees and stones. People who got lost in the woods would find their way home by looking at which side of the tree had more lichen growing on it because that side was facing north. Pretty cool :-) ETA: the potion looks boss!

So, I went on the internet and searched a few HP potions that may be interesting to make (also, I think the idea of DIY potions is aaaaaamazing. I think it will be my favorite thing ever, haha) - Amortentia - Polyjuice Potion (that one should be interesting haha) - Elixir of Life - Murtlap Essence - Death Potion - Wolfsbane - Veritaserum Or, because the gillyweed is a plant, you can put more plant from HP univers in potion bottles? Like Devil's Snare or Mandrake Root. Or something like Unicorn Bloon or Phoenix Tears. Maybe to create a potion that allows you to read in the stars like Firenze. Idk, just some ideas ♥
