Another great vlog Dan. Dippers are fantastic little birds, I make a point of going looking for them when I'm down in Mid Devon. Like the Dove, there's plenty of dippers along the Dart & also like you did, we end up walking miles & miles & it too gets very busy during the daytime. Only caught a fleeting glimpse of one on a quick visit earlier this year, but seeing them is just great. Some excellent footage & photographs there mate, & the Grey Wagtails are great too. Keep on keeping on mate. Best, Nick
Hello, Greetings from Singapore. I am a new friend here. It was a pleasure for me to follow your bird watching & photography activities by the river. Apart from the Dippers, in this video, you have the opportunity to capture the moment of a gray wagtail with its young foraging by the river. The scenery there is beautiful and I really like the atmosphere. Thanks for sharing. Happy birding.👍🔔
Thanks for the video - and especially the video of the wagtail! Being from the States, I'd seen pictures of wagtails before, but never knew why they were called that. Now I know!
Great video Dan, I too am looking for dippers in that area. Hope to do it soon. There are other places too, not too far from there. River Bradford at Youlgreave, The Wye near Cressbrook, also around Ilam on the river manifold. Glad I found this video, as I got to look at the road down and terrain. Looks perfect. When you got the disabled car park, which way did you go, north or south
Thanks very much mate I appreciate it and the suggestions of other areas. There’s parking right next to the river and we followed it South. All the best 👍🏻
Another great vlog Dan and some great shots, the Z9 looks amazing. Could I ask where you got your tripod carrying shoulder pad as I really need to get one. Thanks and keep up the great work.
